Definitely not pocket friendly. Things here is Asian based, BUT it priced quite high. The food flavor is good. The ambiance is über chic. Great for special occasion. Lunch set here is affordable at RM30

Celebrated one of my friend’s birthday here last month. The restaurant was quite spacious with pretty interior. Ploy which apparently means «gem» in Thai is actually a Thai-​Japanese fusion restaurant.
Although, I really liked the concept of the restaurant but the food was not up to standards. We ordered quite a few dishes to try which a were recommended by a very nice waiter. Amongst the dishes we ordered was the linguine mentaiko, ploy’s black fried rice, the godfather’s special and crispy skin salmon and some sort of maki.
The only dish which was memorable was the godfather’s special which is a chirashi don. Also, portions were very small. For the prices we were paying, we definitely expected more. Drinks were sub-​par. Service was actually on the slow side as well.
Lovely environment to have a dinner or a celebration but don’t expect much if you’re here for the food.
