If you do not know where to eat and you’re looking for a quick serve but something decent, then you may want to consider heading over to Pepper Lunch. You do not have to wait because the person behind the counter will put the ingredients you’ve ordered into a sizzling plate the instant you’ve placed your order. I suggest that you do not take too long to cook your meal because the sizzle will eventually die off and I am pretty sure that no one wants to eat something half-cooked unless if it’s soft-boiled eggs. The good thing about Pepper Lunch is that you can be sure that your food is warm and you can control the amount of salt, pepper, and sauce you want to add into your meal. If this is going to be your first time trying it out, I would recommend trying the beef set. That’s my personal favourite. Pepper Lunch is essentially a fast food chain that serves rice and meat, so the environment is very similar to that of McDonald’s or KFC.

For these part few years, few Singaporean restaurant manage to open their branches here in Malaysia. Dainty Hill, Food Repuclic and etc. The latest one is Pepper Lunch. I went to Singapore for so many times before so Pepper Lunch is not some kind of new experience for me. I’ve tasted their foods once when I was in Singapore last year. The menu is just the same as the main branch in Singapore but I guess the pricing standards aren’t similar. The pricing here is more expensive even after converting Ringgit Malaysia to Singaporean Dollar. I ordered the hamburger steak with an egg set alongside some rice and bean sprout. You have to cook you meal on your own because that’s the way we roll in here at Black Pepper. Don’t worry about your cooking skills as they already provide the instructions for every menu available. The steak is nice just the way I expected it to be and the rice+egg really makes me full. Just get yourself here in Pavilion KL to experience Pepper Lunch all by yourself.
