Pao Xiang Bah Kut Teh

Located at the 6^th floor of Pavilion KL, I was first taken aback when the bah kut teh restaurant is situated on the fine diner’s floor. I was there with a friend who loves this cuisine. The cuisine has a definite taste as the herbs they used are really strong. One can even smell it while you are standing outside of the restaurant.
The portions are relatively small so if you want more, you will have to add up the orders. You may also find this place relatively quiet with lesser crowd. The tea servings here are pretty expensive and they count it per person too. So be sure that if you really want to be served tea, you should tell the waiters of the amount of person.

Normally, I am agreeable with any Bah Kut Teh but this restaurant here my friend, Ladies and gentlemen, is an exception. Despite being intrigued and a pork fan, I am gonna say NO to this. Why? Probably due to their INSANELY HIGH PRICE!
Personally, I don’t mind if the food is pricey as long as it fits to its standard. Pao Xiang Bah Kut Teh despite being a well-​known restaurant yet serves ordinary typical Bah Kut Teh that you could find in any other street. I have heard numerous good recommendation and reviews but for the first time ever, I disagree. Besides, they serve a extremely small portion, it seems to me more like an appetiser rather than main course. Is pretty frustrating to see Bah Kuh Teh, a toothsome meal became such an disappointment. However, I do give props to their interior. Pretty cozy and snuggy, not to mention, they are quiet and PERFECT for groups especially for catching and hanging out.
Their food may be ordinary but it’s definitely undeniable truth that they are a great place to hang and chill.
