The cold cuts plate is pretty damn good! Had their Saturday special roast suckling pig & milk lamb, which were pretty good too.

The restaurant has a very modern yet cosy feel to it. The décor provides you with a quaint atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Since it’s located in a quieter place in Damansara, you get to experience a fine dining meal in a more relaxed ambience. My dad and I had dinnner here on a Thursday night, so it wasn’t very crowded. Parking wasn’t a problem and service from the staff was great. They offer an extensive range of authentic food. We shared the La Maiala pizza with Prosciutto, and a spaghetti bolognese, both of which were fantastic. The dishes were recommended by our friendly server who was clearly knowledgable when it came to their best sellers. The ingredients used are of high quality and very fresh. The tomato based sauce used for the pizza was rich and the toppings gave the pizza lots of flavour. For dessert I had their panna cotta and a hot chocolate. The panna cotta had a light, soft consistency. It was silky smooth and just melts in your mouth. The raspberry sauce and blueberries complemented it amazingly. However, I thought the hot chocolate was just average. It’s not sweet, so you can add the sugar provided if you want. Nothing special to mention, just your normal hot chocolate.

To make sure I’m getting the most bang for my buck, I purchased Neroteca’s cash vouchers off Groupon to ensure I got to try their best dish for the most value. It’s funny that it’s actually located within a services apartment and you actually have to park outside as there isn’t any parking inside for guests. The annoying thing is when the illegal ‘jaga’ comes and ask you for 10 bucks for parking outside, something I always feel ripped off. Inside, it’s actually pretty cramped as it is designed to be narrow and long so there’s actually not much space and the waiters walking past are almost always grazing past our table. The menu is interestingly in Italian so I could barely understand however the description of the food was thankfully in English. I had the Tagliata which was grilled Angus beef strip loin with roasted garlic, some rocket sale with Parmesan cheese and roasted potatoes which would be cost Rm70. The strip loin cooked with roasted garlic really gave off a wonderful aroma and my palate was certainly satisfied although my stomach wasn’t as I didn’t find it filling enough.
