Located in the heart of the city, I would say that the now priced RM59.90++ Japanese buffet dinner at Mitasu is a bargain. Furthermore, they don’t state any rules that require you to not dine more than two hours or things like that, which is great because you wouldn’t want to rush through your Japanese delicacies. The building itself is not hard to find if you locate it on the map, but it’s not so visible on its own. If you are planning to shop around in Bukit Bintang area, you could park your car at Pavilion or Fahrenheit 88, which they all are not too far from this place. If you could not located Central Plaza, it’s just beside Standard Chartered Building. Sashimi they serve here is quite fresh, but choices are limited to tuna, salmon and butterfish. Also, their way of slicing them isn’t really what I like, but its quality is still acceptable. The way you order their dishes here would be from their ala carte menu, which you could eat all you can. Some other seafood would be categorized as fresh cuts — like oysters and tiger prawns — I wished that the prawns are slightly bigger though. You could ask for hot green tea here, which they will bring you a teapot of it. For cold drinks, you would need to help yourself at the bar. And, cold drinks would be the only thing here that’s self service. A wide range of Japanese foods are offered here, and I would say that their food quality is decent. However, this place is usually crowded, so calling to make reservation in advance is definitely advisable.

It’s difficult to find good japanese buffet in KL. This is one of the place to come to if you’re looking for affordable and fresh sashimi to feast on! I have allergy to not-fresh-seafood, so if i tell you its fresh, it would be. or else i would balloon-ed up like a ball in the restaurant. So no worries bout that ;) I was here with my friends for my birthday. It was bit difficult to find this place cause you may overshot while driving cause the building is NOT very VISIBLE. hahahaha, please do take extra caution when you’re driving here. IF you’re not parking here, just park at Lot 10. It’s walking distance from Lot 10 to Central Plaza. We had reservations here, so we didn’t had to wait long. We had a private room on our own. We didn’t had the noisy tables around us. So, we started ordering when we sat down. Drinks = self service. Food? Please, the waiter/waitress will bring it to you. We had sashimi, salad, chawanmushi. The sashimi was fresh… Oh BTW, it’s an ala-carte menu. So you get to choose whatever you want from the menu. ;) There are quite a lot of different stuff such as yakimono, teppanyaki, soup, tempura, cold cuts, sushi, makimono. We ordered a lot of sashimi… like a lot. Thank god it was fresh. =P So i consumed them down without much worries. At the ending, we ordered jelly and ice cream too! There are flavours like green tea, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla and black sesame. And we tried all! Green tea ice cream is good! =D Overall experience: 5⁄5(Thank god for NO allergy attack) Price Rating: 4⁄5(Worthwhile)

Looking for an average price Japanese Restaurant for a nice buffet? Having to dine in the Golden Triangle area can be quite costly and if you don’t wish to burn a hole in your pocket, Mitasu Japanese Restaurant can be your next choice! I came to know about this restaurant once when I passed by while I was on my way to the Standard Chartered Bank. It is not difficult to locate this restaurant if you know where Menara Standard Chartered is situated. The restaurant’s signs are available and visible for passer-bys. You have the choice to use the public transport to go there or drive. Parking is not an issue as there are ample of parking spaces in Menara Standard Chartered or Central Plaza. You can either take the bus or monorail to reach to this restaurant. This restaurant offers a-la carte buffet with a reasonable price and the quality I would say it’s fine. Some may debate that it is not fresh and I would definitely say you pay what you get. To me it was good enough! It is not the concept where you will go and grab your food like you do in Saisaki, at this restaurant, you will have to place your order and you will be served. Order more to avoid long waiting time and I bet you will love this place as there is no limit to the amount of food you eat! Don’t wait!

I’m a fan of Japanese food and enjoy a good buffet. Unfortunately, the quality ones are always very expensive, and the cheaper ones are not up to par. After some time, I decided that to have quality Japanese food, I must be ready to burn a hole in my pocket. Lucky for me, I came to know about Mitasu Japanese Restaurant. Mitasu Japanese Restaurant offers ala carte buffet at a very reasonable price. At a price of RM56.90++, this has got to be one of the cheapest Japanese buffet in town. Mitasu is located at the basement of Central Plaza or some people know it as Menara Standard Chartered. To get a parking is fairly easy. You can either do a valet parking or park your car inside the building. If you’ve been to Umai-ya then you’ll be familiar with the concept of ala carte buffet. Place your order with the servers and they’ll bring you your food. You save the hassle of walking around and queuing up at the buffet, but it’s advisable to order slightly more so you can avoid the waiting time while the servers bring over the food. You’ll be doubting the quality and spread of Mitasu, since they are charging at such at considerably low price. You’ll be surprise! The ingredients are fresh such as sushi, sashimi, oysters, unagi, tempura and many more. Overall, Mitasu is really a good choice for anyone who loves Japanese food or craving for Japanese food but prefer something more reasonably priced. The weekend buffet starts at 12pm till 3pm, and you can eat all you want!

This place serves you fresh ala carte buffet at the basement of Central Plaza, along Jalan Sultan Ismail which It’s about 5 minutes walk from Raja Chulan Monorail station. FORRM56.90 you could order whatever in the menu and freshly make for you, hot & fresh, cold salmon sashimi and other main course. First you will greeted by everyone and they will take you to seat down. This restaurant served set lunch and A La Carte Buffet dinner everyday. You can leave your vehicle to valet at Menara Standard Chartered for RM6 after 5pm, or park inside Central Plaza/Menara Standard Chartered for RM6 flat rate after 6pm and while you can have convenient parking, you have plenty of time to enjoy your food. It feels like we are walking underground like an underground restaurant which is quite cool. Imagine you never need to walk around with a plate in your hands or queue for your food. All you have to do is sit and wait and chat or take care of your babies. Monday — Friday — 11.30am to 5pm &6pm to 10pm Sat — Sun — 12pm– 3pm &6pm to 10pm
