Great for parents with young kids! Not so great if you don’t have kids… Every time I eaten here, there’s crying, screaming babies all around me so 2* for atmosphere. Food wise, I ordered the quack quack salad and wasn’t a huge fan. The portion was pretty small, there were only five measly pieces of duck in my salad and the dressing was the worst part. Not so much a dressing actually, but more like juice that just left my salad completely soggy. At the end there was just a cup of liquid sitting in the bottom of my bowl. Pretty expensive for what it was too!

Visited this place again with my bunch of primary school friends, and most that I haven’t met for more than 10 years! This place always look fun to visit, and they even have a play area for the kids. So, moms with kids, you would want to come here, let your kids play and have some teas with your friends. The reasons that I’m giving them three stars would be for their confusing pricing here. So, similar to most of other cafés, they have their drinks menu here. However, they don’t specify how much each different drink would cost here, e.g. their latte would be RM11(just an example), and they don’t state the price for iced latte. Usually you would expect that to be RM12, with an additional RM1 from the hot drink. So, apparently their receipt printing system are quite limited as well, they don’t have all the drinks name in the cashier system, so if I ordered iced long black, they would have to key in iced white, because apparently iced long black isn’t in the system. So, exactly, iced long black was what I ordered. And, while price for iced long black wasn’t stated, I thought it would be an additional RM1 from the RM10 hot long black. However, the receipt listed my item as iced white, and charged RM13. I assumed that it was a billing mistake and asked, only to find out that their iced long black is the same price as iced white, and iced long black isn’t available in their cashier system. So are a few other drinks that we have ordered. Honestly, to learn that iced long black and iced white are the same prices is slightly surprising to me. I mean, it’s just a few ringgits difference, but still. Other than that, this is still a pretty cool space. And drinks and food are alright too.

Kid friendly, reasonably priced and the food is reasonably priced. The portions are decent sized — even the kids meals and most children I’ve seen there haven’t had too much trouble with the taste. A playroom adds a nice touch for the kids and allows the adults some time to eat while watching them. Good for a coffee and a chat too — if you don’t mind the sounds of laughing kids accompanying that latte

Marmalade is a great place to get a wholesome, delicious meal. The vegetarian breakfast is really good, it comes with an egg white omelette with spinach, avocado tomato salsa, haloumi cheese, grilled mushrooms, house made baked beans and some wholemeal bread. It was really good and a lot of food! The fresh juices were also great, will definitely be checking out more of the menu.

I love marmalade!(similar to their website, lol). They have a very cute, vibrant fresh looking restaurant that are just very engaging you to come inside. It is not the type of place with dim light, and makes you wanna sneak inside a comfy sofa, but it is just fresh bright light, big transparent window, vibrant colour tables, and so on. I am loving this place. They have wi-fi in their restaurant, but sometimes you have to double check if it’s working or not. I went there two or three times, and if they do, usually it is pretty fast, but couple times it is just not working. So probably, if your intention is to work here, then this might not be the best place for you. Food here are not the cheapest, but it is pretty delicious. I like their spaghetti aglio olio and beef lasagna. Also their duck & spinach fettucine is pretty appetising too. Other than their hearty meals, they also have cakes for you sugar lover. Will definitely recommend this place :)

Looking for some wholesome comfort food with a cozy ambiance & child friendly? Look no further then ‘Marmalade Café’ in bangsar village 2. This place is the ultimate go to for mothers looking to take a break whilst keeping the kids occupied or simply anyone else looking for a peaceful place to munch. Marmalade for me is a café that i’d like to go for my own quiet time. If I haven’t already said enough about the place, let me get started on their food. I usually get bored of the typical salads you’d get almost everywhere(i.e. caesar, italiano etc) except this place. Try the havana salad & you would know exactly what im talking about. This chunky & colorful salad is made of haloumi, chicken cubes, mixed lettuce, nuts, pineapple & coconut salsa topped with honey mustard dressing, simply delish! The spicy lamb burger is another one of my favorites, its juicy & well marinated. Health freaks, get your shakes on! This place serves some mean health shakes & juices. The detox helper & day starters are in my top picks, however the chocolate milkshake takes the cake!

Health conscious people out there — this is a heads up! Marmalade café is the place you want to be at for a hearty and wholesome meal. Their menu includes a range of healthy salads, sandwiches and fresh fruit juices that will not break the wallet either. Classics like the club sandwich are remade with a healthier twist to it. The Moroccan lamb shank is a must try! And don’t forget to order a serve of their freshly squeezed juices or if you feel like you need a caffeine hit, then have a cup of coffee. The interior is beautifully decorated with a white-themed layout, spacious floor area and interesting decorative items/knick knacks. They also have a separate kids menu which is great if you decide to take the kids out for a family meal and not have to worry about meal portions or food size. Oh and did I mention how delicious their salads are? Most people, when you talk about salads, think about a bowl of overpriced and tasteless leafy greens. The salads at Marmalade Café, however, are one of a kind and tasty. Yes, TASTY too! Another great thing about Marmalade is that they cater to bigger functions if you decide to book out the entire restaurant for an event, all you need to do is give them a ring or drop them an email to book. Highly recommend visiing this café!

As usual, I was rushing to Damansara Heights for an interview with an art collector without eating breakfast. Bangsar Village 2 was the nearest to me(in terms of food at an affordable price range) so I decided to pop by Marmalade with a friend to try out their breakfast menu. So I ordered the Big Fry Up, knowing me. It’s as if I haven’t eaten for months and I could really eat a whole cow. This breakfast set comes with two poached free-range eggs — but you can request for either that, scrambled or sunny-side up. It also comes with a preservative-free chicken thyme sausage, beef bacon, stewed beans, sautéed mushroom and multi-grain toast… or you can get the country white instead. Either way, everything is really healthy on this plate. The other dish we ordered — or more like my friend ordered and I steal bites from each item on her plate — is the Morning Benny. It comes with two free-range poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and sautéed mushrooms. For the protein, you can either go for the smoked salmon or the turkey ham. We had the turkey ham and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was really soft and the flavours were just right; it wasn’t too heavy. Marmalade is known for their healthy servings of meats, eggs and even their health juices. The price is quite reasonable for such a huge meal in Bangsar Village 2 mall. It’s not more than RM30 for each meal and their health juices are not more than RM12. I’m sure I’ll have more morning activities and events around Bangsar that I’ll miss breakfast for. So you will definitely see me at Marmalade, gulping down the other breakfast sets.

A long time staple in Bangsar Village 1, Marmalade is also popular among moms with young kids as there is a playroom in the restaurant(it doesn’t look like the cleanest playroom though). They make the most creamiest milkshakes and their juice smoothies are even better. Their lasagna here is enough for two as it can get a little much with all that cheese layers. They also serve my favourite artisanal ice cream which is FatBoy. I also make it a point to stop by here and pick up a small tub of it whenever I pass by.

Marmalade is a very cozy family restaurant. It’s very popular for mothers and their babies because it’s one of the few cafes in KL that are breastfeeding-friendly. There’s also a play area for children while the adults are talking. Seeing as there are a lot of windows, this place allows a lot of natural light which in turn creates such a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The food here in general is quite good. The aglio olio they offer is probably one of my favorite dishes at this restaurant. I like the fact that they are generous with the portion of sun-dried tomatoes they put in.

I’m particularly fond of this place that is situated in Bangsar Village II. The interior design is cozy with a section catered for kids to loiter. It’s a delight for parents who wants to dine with facilities that caters for kids. The service is here is great. You’re always greeted with smiles and well versed staffs who are attentive to serve you. Go ahead, ask them a question or two about the dishes and they will recommend you what is best for you. The food is here tasty, but you must try their desserts! I love their carrot cake with orange zest toppings. I’ve tried almost all their cakes and I would say they are all top notch. A lovely place for tea time.

It’s a super cosy and cute place to stop by and enjoy some sweet desserts! Their seatings are perfect to enjoy it with your friends. It is most of the time crowded with mom’s and their kids, because this place is well known as a family restaurant. They are known for healthy food and a great variety of Salads. It is quite standard Bangsar Prices I would say. You can enjoy your meal for about 20−30RM. I would definitely recommend this place not only because of high quality food, but also, because of their outstanding service! Try their pancakes, it will be your favourite in town! :)
