Wide variety of selection for a buffet. Food is rather expensive but it is complemented by good service and courteous staff. Overall, the food here is good. I particularly like the freshness of the sashimi. Very nice ambience for a meal and close family gathering. Contemporary design similar to the 60−70s era. Even the waiters’ costume borrowed heavily from that time.

The selection of food was average, considering the price paid. Also, the pasta that was served was uncooked. However, their service was above average and they were really helpful. To my surprise, the Roti canai was one of the best that I’ve tasted!

Giving 4 stars because no oysters served. I am expecting oysters because of the rm145 of dinner price. Btw, their prawn is fresh, pizza must try super cheesy, spaghetti is super delicious and creamy and lastly their dessert bar is women’s heaven lol. Best macaroons in town.

I was here yesterday for dinner buffet to celebrate anniversary with my love one. I was expect Contango at Majestic Hotel KL is as romantic as Thirty8 at Grand Hyatt, but it’s not. This place is more for big group dining, family dinner where kids running around while mothers talking to each other. You know, is just not romantic as I thought. Although is not romantic as I thought but the ambient is good, bright light with comfort sofa and good services. Is hard to find a place where every of their staff is smiling and greeting you nowadays in KL, and I really appreciate that. About the foods, it’s an international buffet. Although it’s looks like many type of foods where Japanese, Local, India, Italy and seafoods cuisine are all available but the choices of each category is not much and the taste is just okay. The only foods that tempted me are their desserts and wine! Every pieces of cakes and chocolates look so beautiful. For wine and beer, you just need to pay additional RM40++ to have a free flow for the whole night. Dinner buffet per person is RM115 nett. parking fee is RM10 per entry if you here for buffet.

It was our second year anniversary of being together, and I wanted to spoil my fiancé to a nice buffet lunch. I was scouting for decent buffets and came across the Contango @ The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur. At first, I did not know The Majestic Hotel existed. sorry I may have been hiding underneath a rock for a very long time. Nonetheless, I asked my best friend, Mr. Google to get their contacts and search for the hotel. I made the reservation for two and was looking forward to the anniversary lunch. The day finally arrived, and my fiancé and I were starving ourselves for the big buffet. Contango has a wide variety of food to choose from: Japanese– Sushi, miso soup, sashimi, udon and tempura. Local cuisine: fried noodles, fried rice, chicken curry and etc Indian cuisine: roti chanai, roti pisang(this is good), Northern Indian dishes Italian: Pizza, choices of pasta that you can choose and add what you want to be in it. A variety of desserts, fruit juices and the usual coffee and tea. I’d say it was worth it, The standards of the food were kept to high standard and dishes get replenish frequently.
