Boudoir by Soong Ai Ling

I’ve been to Boudoir twice, and after the second time I will never go again. The treat every customer differently, and both times I was snubbed.
I received a manicure and pedicure at the same time. The pedicurist barely cut my nails, and did not fully remove the dark purple polish I had on, so you can see it through the red I chose. My manicurist asked how I wanted my nails cut, and I said shorter and round. She filed them but did not cut them shorter so when I asked her to, she cut them so low they hurt. The nail polish is thicker/​darker in some areas of my nails and thinner/​lighter in other areas. She also didn’t go anywhere near my cuticles, so it looks grown out already.
When the manicurist and pedicurist were done, they put fans on my hands and feel (while I still had towels on my legs and arms) and left without returning. I then had to clean up their area and leave without a goodbye.

If I were to list my top 5 places to go to when I’m in dire need of a pampering session, Boudoir definitely has a spot reserved. This is the second outlet opened by Ms Soong Ai Ling in bangsar village itself. Having a whole different concept & a much more luxurious feel than the first outlet, this place has a strict no kids policy which I feel is pretty fair as you wouldn’t want to ruin someone elses quiet & relaxation time.
No doubt this place charges a slightly heftier price for your manicure & pedicure services but I feel this is mainly due to the whole ambiance & feel that they are targeting. This would be an ideal place to go to for a girls day out!

Boudoir is a top notch place to get your nails done. I love how the employees here are overlooking every little detail and really taking care of your nails. They are also providing you with a little pillow that is infused with herbal, so it really feels so comfortable being there. The pricing there is not the cheapest but then again, you are getting your treatment in a very nicely decorated place and I am pretty sure you will feel nothing but relaxed and happy coming out of this place.
Price here for manicure is for RM50, and pedicure is for RM65, also you can get your express mani for RM45, and express pedi for RM55, I’m not sure how express is it because I never tried about it before but I unless you are in a big rush, then just go to their normal procedure.
Will recommend this place to my girlfriends, I am sure they will love this place!

The entrance to Boudoir is so inviting with pretty flowers that line the sides of the main door as you step in. As you enter, there is a little café to the left that serves a range of drinks and pastries (including macarons; yum!) and to the right large red cushioned majestic-​looking chairs in the waiting area. As you walk further into the store you will see luscious blue big plush seats that are so comfortable you’d feel like you never want to leave!
I chose the manicure and pedicure package that came with a glass of wine (pick between white or red) and a cute little macaron.
The place is extremely clean and smells amazing. The staff were evidently well-​trained and very professional and friendly with smiles on their faces. Definitely a higher end beauty salon but well worth the heftier price tag. It is one of the prettiest nail salons I’ve ever been to in Malaysia, bringing a whole new game to the term «pampering».
Even if you’re not a big fan of manicures or pedicures, it is worth getting one at Boudoir, even if just for the experience. Highly recommend!
