Caution! If you get on a train on this Shichijyo station of Keihan railway line, don’t take the train on the wrong platform. This station has two platforms bound for Osaka and Kyoto of Shijyo, Sanjo, Demachiyanagi and so on and two ticket gates. Both of two are not connected.
Did I make a mistake? Yes, I did! To tell the truth, I wanted to go to Tofukuji station from Osaka, but only the local train or semi-​express train stops at the station. So boarding on a super express train bound for Kyoto I was going to get off at Tanbabashi station, but carelessly missed it. So I got off at Shichijyo station and tried to get back to one station. But the platform is not connected to the other one. So I had to pass through the automatic turnstile, bought the ticket again for one station and entered the other platform. It was a waste of money!!!
So please be careful not to enter the wrong platform. Also in this station signboards are written only in Japanese.
