If you’re looking for a decent meal next to the Parthenon, look no further. Prices are incredibly reasonable and the food is good! The wait staff, however, could be a little friendlier.

I have had lunch and again dinner with a group at Taverna del Seminario. Food was ok, but the service at lunch was marginal, and service at dinner was sub par. The server enters the orders directly into a pad as she takes them, but still manages to «forget» one person, then acts like it is our fault and cops an attitude when we ask about our friend’s meal. Taverna del Seminario is dead to us. Two Stars.

Out of the few places we ate in Rome that were near a major attraction, this place, by far, had the best food for the price and location. The lunch tourist menu is 15 euro for bruschetta and three courses, while first courses /pasta were all under 10 euro. One of my friends opted for the tourist menu and was stuffed for the entire day. Their cacio e pepe was the best one we had while in Rome. My gnocchetti was also very good. Even as leftovers they had a good texture! All three of us enjoyed our food and one of us even ordered some more pasta to eat later. There is a service charge of 1,5 per person, but I’d come back here again.

This place was decent and ultimately served quality food for a good deal. It was definitely tourist-y but the service was good and attentive. The restaurant space is small and quiet(and air conditioned) which was nice. We had pasta arrabiata and pasta carbonara that was cooked perfectly although the flavors were average. The tiramisu was good, although a little mushy(there was a pool of liquid on the plate.) It was incredibly affordable, with a carafe of wine, coming to a total of 30 euro. Bottom Line: Not a bad choice.
