Best leather bag I’ve had for the volunteer work/​service I do. Keeps my magazines without bending/​minimal dog earing…
A little bit on the pricey side but way cheaper than most places in the area. I had to look for this place for almost an hour after noticing the prices of other bags for almost the same quality being skyrocketed high!
Would love to come back here again :) hope the prices still stay this good… Of course it was bought in March 2015 so maybe they might have changed…

My parents visited Italy brought me back two purses from this store. They are both stunningly beautiful, expertly crafted, and unique in design. The designs are like nothing I’ve found in the states.
My mom also had nothing but praise for the store owner and the service she received!

I LOVE the smell of leather. Il Gancio is a local leather goods shop in the heart of Rome where all items are made in the in-​house studio/​workshop. You can’t miss it, as the shop is in a well-​traveled alley on the way to the Panthéon. Quality-​made and beautiful, their collection of wallets, purses, belts, totes, and personal accessories are top-​notch and are priced fairly. They took great care in packaging my purchase by carefully wrapping each item in a clear film bag and topping them with their business card and a small red leather heart cut-​out. Simple but elegant touch. My fave finds were these sweet little coin purses, all made of thick linea pelle (genuine leather). Bellissima!
