I’ve been fortunate enough to visit Roma twice. On my most recent trip (in 2010) I went with all intentions of coming home with a new leather purse, not knowing I’d find the purse of my dreams as soon as I arrived. My friends and I were walking towards the Trevi Fountain when we stopped in La Sella. I spotted a gorgeous black leather bag that I knew I had to have, however since we literally just arrived I made myself walk away.
The next day I still couldn’t get the bag out of my head and knew I had to buy it. When we returned to the shop I immediately grabbed the bag and told the woman I wanted to purchase it. She then informed me that they offer free engraving so I had them personalize my bag with my initials (awesome perk!). As I was paying for the bag another woman browsing the shop asked how much it cost. The woman who was working with me informed the woman that I had purchased the only one. What an amazing feeling to know that I was leaving with the only one in stock!
Each time I use my bag I receive compliments. It still looks as nice as the day I took it home from the shop 4 years later.
