The Gallery Italy

Good coffee and sandwich. service was ok but not the fastest. The atmosphere in the bar is a little cold but its good for a quick rest or a glas of wine!

I was very upset when I went to the gallery café for a quick orange juice and croissant. When I got there I stood at the bar as I wanted to eat and quickly go. The guy behind the counter said «please sit down». I sat down and ordered an orange juice and croissant. the billed me 7 Euros. I felt so ripped off. I was completely overcharged. Since I’m not fluent in Italian I just paid and left as I felt uncomfortable complaining about the high bill.
I spoke to a few Italians and they said I was completely overcharged because I’m a foreigner. Also when he said «please sit» it’s because they charge you extra for sitting down.
Lesson learned, I would never go back! So the 3 – 4 Euros that you ripped me off cost you because I would never go back and I just moved to the area. I could of been a regular.
I would advise not to go there if this is how they take advantage of Foreigners!

Great modern café with Internet access and. Menu

Cute place to grab some coffee or a simple glass of wine. Nothing terribly exciting but you get snacks with your drinks and the WIFI is free. The bathroom is in a weird location and they had a separate employee stall. Overall, worth the stop.

Gelés après avoir marché à travers les rues de Rome enneigées, nous avons besoin de nous poser, de boire, de manger un bout, et s’il y a du WIFI ça n’est que mieux ! A bout ou presque, nous voyons ce café comme une bénédiction.
En entrant une vitrine avec des sandwiches des panini… mais aussi des croissants et autres viennoiseries plutôt italiennes.
Après le bar, au fond de la salle il y a 4 tables, une télé qui diffusait MTV mais sans son, et une porte qui donne sur un magasin de fringues et accessoires que je n’ai pas visité.
Les deux jeunes hommes derrière le comptoir sont sympathiques et quand ils ont compris que nous sommes Français l’un d’eux a demandé «Parriggi ?» et lorsque nous avons répondu «Marsiglia» son visage s’est éclairé, il a serré la main de Chéri façon ZyVaCheckMonFrère… Bref un bon accueil !
Nous avons pris 3 panini et deux cafés, avec une bière italienne (rousse apparemment) et un jus d’oranges sanguines pressées à la demande (mention spéciale pour le jus d’ailleurs).
Au final ce n’était pas trop cher, je crois autour de 30 € à 2.
WIFI gratuit, il suffit de demander le code !
