Hotel Orange

I was hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately this will not be a positive review. My sister and I booked a room weeks in advance, but because of a glitch in our flights we missed the first night. When we arrived the next day, they said they sold our room, even though my husband had called to alert them.
The place is all fluff anyway, pretentious at best, and brightly lit with orange neon lights. On a positive note, they moved us to a hotel down the road that was quite old, but had great charm and a very helpful receptionist.

Great hotel in quiet neighborhood. Love the staff! The beds are not comfortable, but rooms are a good size and quiet. Great breakfast on the rooftop. Also, it’s only about two blocks from the metro.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Originally booked 3 nights through Priceline (name your own price) so I was worried how it would be. But we ended up purchasing 4 extra nights, so you can tell we enjoyed it.
Location: right by the Vatican. 5 minute walk to St. peter’s square, and vatican muses. But for other attractions, you would walk around 30 minutes or take public transportation (ottavio station nearby as well as many buses). If you take taxis from main attractions it’ll be around (7 – 10 euros)
Rooms: had a room with two small twin beds, but very spacious room, large windows which you can open if you want fresh air. Very cute hip look in the room (hope you like orange :))
Amenities: front desk staff 24 hours, help with booking taxis or anything you need, breakfast (at a cost), daily cleaning of room, they supply clean towels daily (if you don’t want to reuse), TV, cable, air conditioning, heater, elevator.
Staff was what made this place really good! It’s a small hotel, staff is friendly, helpful, and make you feel comfortable! Always welcoming and with a smile.
What’s missing? Wish they included shampoo/​conditioner, TV size was small given distance from the bed, and a better shower (shower was really up high). Also noise level is really high, wish We had a warning of that (but we figured it out as soon as we walked in, since it’s right by a busy street). But you get used to it.

Lovely staff, hip interior design, clean rooms with bath/​TV/​good bed. Location is excellent, 5 minutes from the Vatican and about a 30 minute walk from main attractions. I would gladly return!

Good location for sites, average service and terrible noise level — don’t stay here if you want to get any sleep as it’s right next to a late night Karaōke bar!

What a great surprise! Great location and a great staff. Will defiantly look this hotel up next time I’m in Rome. Just finished dinner on the roof! What a great experience. We felt as if they were there for just us and would be happy to create anything we desired! Loved our stay.
