Hotel Katty

Very simple hotel. We had one room and a bathroom. The room is like a large bedroom in a fourth floor suite that has been converted to a hotel room. One double bed and two singles, perfect for our family. We just needed a place to crash for one night and this was perfect.
The concierge was good enough at English and very friendly and helpful. Refrigerator worked well and great shower. I would highly recommend this as an inexpensive place to stay just a few blocks from Roma Termini.

I spent a weeknight here for 64 euros after the 2 euro city tax, a single room with a private bathroom.
Pros
+ very clean room with lots of natural light and fairly modern bathroom facilities
+ location was excellent, north of the Termini station, very close to the Yellow Bar/​Hostel
+ English-​speaking receptionists
+ free breakfast voucher at the Violet Bar across the street (I had a sweet bread and cappuccino, typical light Italian breakfast)
+ satellite tv with 300+ channels
+ free wifi
Cons
— thin walls, like I could clearly hear lobby conversations, along with the next room’s plumbing and even their ablutions haha
— the room lights were too dim
— bathroom had a vague smell, but then it seems like most hotels in Rome have this issue
— tv remote didn’t have numbers
I liked the price & facilities, but nothing about the service made it stand out.

Pensione con una excelente relación calidad-​precio; situada en uno de los edificios más bonitos del lado este de Termini. Las habitaciones son bastante agradables y algunas tienen baños nuevos. Si quieres gastarte un poco más, se recomienda el Katty 2, donde todas las habitaciones tienen baño adjunto, minibar, televisor, teléfono y aire acondicionado
