Hotel Adriatic

First of all, this is a 2-​star hotel. So expectations should be within that range. The best thing about this hotel is location! A stone’s throw away from the Vatican. You can literally see the walls of the Vatican. A lot of nice restaurants and shops close to it. There’s a convenience store right next to it, which was very helpful coz we needed to buy water almost everyday (July in Rome is scorching hot!). Also, there’s 2 ATMs close by. And the Ottavia metro station is not too far away. Another good thing about the hotel is that it’s clean. Bathroom and sheets were clean (caveat: there were some black ants inside our room but it was only on our desk).
The only thing that I wasn’t happy about was the Wifi (very tourist of me). You can only connect in the solarium/​terrace. Slow connection, at times spotty.
