I’ve bought a few things here and the prices are very reasonable and the manager/salesman really knows his stuff and will go out of his way to let you try out the equipment. He’s not your typical salesman and will put your interests first. They have all the latest midi controllers including Live’s Push and NI’s Komplete Kontrol keyboards and, as I said, for very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Vale conferir!

Sound Around doesn’t disappoint when they call themselves«The DJ Store», this well maintained Capel St music store is awash in electronic equipment for sound, sampling and projection. I could only goggle at the wall of gear on sale(although the prices were pretty good, a sizable Kam amp pack was just € 250) and appreciate how dedicated this shop is to the soundboard lifestyle. For those aspiring wedding DJs there’s also a small selection of rotating coloured lights and flashing dance orbs. And then for those luddites who still insist on playing music on wooden instruments, head to the back of Sounds Around for a gander at their selection of accoustic and electric guitars(and that one sad little violin, all along and just € 99). There’s also stands, straps and picks if you simply must play these hunks of tree, and are surprisingly affordable.
