Nubar

Since I live on campus with my husband, this is usually our food place of choice if we don’t have time to go into town depending on when he gets off work. This place is your place with average bar food and relatively inexpensive. Most dishes are between 5 – 8 euros. They also play mtv on their TVs with real music videos, and some of the songs that play are quite interesting! That being said, here are some dishes we’ve tried:
Good:
–Ultimate burger (can’t go wrong with onion rings and bacon in a burger.)
–Taco nachos (beefy cheesy goodness!)
–Tomato pesto pasta (I think that’s what it was… leftovers were good the next day as well)
–Garlic mushrooms (I liked it with the sweet chili sauce. If you have no concerns of health try it with the garlic mayo (?) sauce. Also they’re very garlicky so plan for mints or something… and they’re very hot inside so bite carefully as well!
Skip:
–Quesadilla (made with salsa in the cheese and not very much cheese. Strange experience for a girl from the southwest of the states where Mexican food is prevalent)
–chicken goujons (like chicken tenders but not as tender and juicy… if you MUST get them, get the bbq flavored ones)
