According to my friends of a more fine arts leaning than myself, this is THE place to go for arts supplies in Dublin. Popping in, you realise just how much thought must actually go into a painting — what one of those 200 brushes would be most apt? Acrylic or oil-​based paints? What size canvas? And what in the world are all these accoutrements for down the back?
Comprehensive is the word to describe this place, and it must be an artist’s heaven. Naturally this doesn’t come cheap, but when a squiggle can sell for a couple of hundred bucks, sure what’s an extra euro or ten?
