I used to frequent this restaurant often with my wife when we were dating it was on of our favourites but life moves on and we got less opportunity to go. Looking for a nice and reasonably priced bite we decide to give it a whirl again. Staff greeted us with a friendly smile and even remembered us even though it is probably 4 years since we’re last there. Unfortunately after ordering we had to leave just as our food was ready. I asked could we have the food to go instead which they yes no problem and rather make a fuss at the table the owner gave a little nod when it was all packed up and we were able to slip out without making a fuss at the table and disturbing other diners. They are always so friendly and welcoming I remember why we enjoyed it so much.

Affordable prices and yummy foods. I went with a group of 7 and we encountered a ticket management cluster F. The kitchen somehow got confused on who gets what and even kept one of our guys waiting for nearly 15 minutes after the rest of us got our food, I felt bad. My warm goat cheese salad had(and it takes a lot to say this) a crazy– overwhelming amount of goat cheese on it. Our server was attentive and super apologetic for the kitchen’s continued mess ups but I didn’t understand how/what happened to keep causing the confusion.

I recommend this place for having a great meal, Especially their own great ‘Bruschetta”!

We were all dressed up and so wanted somewhere nice to go! I had been in here years ago and good memories remained. We reserved a table the night before and after a brief stop into Little Caesar’s Pizza next door, where they were willing to give us a table(cheeky) we got into Little Ceasers Palace. The service was great right off the bat, answering any questions we had. We ordered main courses of 2 King Prawn Penne and a pan fried Veal on Mash. I unfortunately had one of the Prawn Penne’s(I say unfortunately because I like seeing a full plate, I’m ‘a savage’, I know this: p) The penne was good, once I got over the pasta being small, the King Prawns were great. My partner’s mother loved it as well… there were no complaints. My partner had the Veal and mash to great reviews. The dessert menu was accepted so we could just ‘have a look at what they have’ 2 minutes later we were ordering 2 delicious desserts! All the desserts were a fiver and worth it. ATMOSPHERE: This is a lovely, quite and warm restaurant where you are relaxed and not hassled ordering and eating. I saw too ladies have a relaxing chat and dinner over a bottle of wine. As for us being dressed up to go here… wasn’t needed. I saw a guy in jeans and t-shirt as we were leaving. PRICE: Most dishes were € 12 — € 20 which is great considering the type of restaurant and location. Desserts were only € 5.

The plan was a late show at Bruxelles so hubs & I stopped in here for dinner. At the time we didn’t know anywhere else to go in the area. The waiters seated us downstairs in a basement cave, which was not as lovely as the upstairs as it was near the service door as well as the toilets. Why were we banished to the basement? The food was good enough I guess. I had the Penne alla Paesana which was mushrooms, onion, peppers and courgettes in a cream and tomato sauce. It was technically fine but I just remember being a bit let down. I thought it would be creamier or tastier or just something more impressive. I loaded it with chili flakes and ate it. I also had a glass of wine that was just ok. That probably sums up the whole place: just ok.

This is the original Little Caesars restaurant. Hidden on Balfe Street in the shadow of the Westbury Hotel it is certainly better value for money anyway than its Hotel neighbour. I have been lucky enough to be a patron of Little Caesars since it opened its doors in ’91. The place still packs them in, why? Because the food is great, not at all a rip off, the wine menu is very good, lunch specials cheap for the quality of food and filling, and the staff and service is fantastic. The restaurant is broken into an intimate up stairs and a never ending down stairs. Perfect for a date, or perfect for an army. The Filetto Flambese is may recommendation,(no need for a started, and you have an eating disorder if you manage dessert with this ;)) BBQesq Beef enjoyed with a glass of house red, coming under € 25 It has been a few months since I went for lunch in little Caesars. My last lunch was spaghetti Bolognese, garlic bread and a coke, which set be back less than € 12, not too bad, well worth it, you are in the city centre so for € 12 or so lunch perhaps there is better value to be found, great portions all the same. That is pretty much the only comment approximating negativity I can think of for this Italian city centre institute. If you want Italian in town, this would be my recommendation and first choice.
