I was recently here with a friend for lunch last week. I’d been a bit nervous about trying it because I’d heard mixed things, but I’m so glad I did! It’s so lovely and aesthetically pleasing when you walk in. It looks like a coffeeshop that belongs in either New York or London or something. The menu is pretty basic enough, they have a set of sides/salads, and main entrees. If you pick 2 salads and 1 entrée/meat it’s about 15 euros, and for 1 of each it’s 10(about spot on with all the other lunch places on Baggot St). They also do a daily special(which is what I went for on the day I was there). The place was packed, and I can now see why. The food is fantastic, and it’s not hard at all to eat healthy here! And the servings are quite large. I didn’t get close to finish my lunch when I was there. Try to save room for desserts if you can. The pastries and desserts look so amazing!!!

WOW! Eathos is Dublin’s version of London’s Ottolenghi. They specialise is seriously creative salads and proteins, like fig and halloumi salad and chickpea burgers. Everything is so fresh, brightly coloured and delicious, and I’m annoyed at myself for just discovering this place now. Prices range from € 9 for a plate of 2 salads up to about € 15 for their daily special, so it’s reasonably priced also. Though the menu doesn’t explicitly say so, you can order one protein and one salad for € 10.50. My friend got the special, which was this crab toast with smashed avocado, poached eggs and hollandaise. I tried a bite, and it was delicious. I got the salmon, the fig/halloumi salad and the crispy green beans. Everything was so so tasty and filling. I wish we had room for desert, because all the sweets looked incredible. Will definitely be back, this place is as good as it gets in Dublin.

Wow! I tried this place for the first time and was blown away. Everything about this place is fresh! The food is so healthy and scrumptious. I got the Crispy Harissa Chicken thigh which was tasty but my friend got the Salmon and that looked amazing so I think I would get that the next time. For the salads I tried Camargue red rice and quinoa with orange and pistachios and holy god that was so good — you have to try it! The orange taste amongst the quinoa just tastes so interesting. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly, no rushing for us to finish up even though it was really busy! We arrived around 1pm and there was a que to get in so maybe try a bit later around the 2:30pm or 3pm mark if you want to avoid ques! What I really enjoyed about the place was that the interior was so clean cut, fresh and modern. The tables and walls are all white and the plates that the food comes on are block colours such as green or orange etc so it has such a fresh cool vibe! I would have given 5 stars but just found parking around that area difficult and it is all pay and display parking so make sure you have change on you if you are driving. Overall great experience, dying to go again!

Went here for a late breakfast midweek. Great food and interesting choice on the menu. There was also plenty of incredible looking cakes and muffins on display but I resisted temptation because the breakfast was pretty hearty. These are not ‘hungry man’ portions but are still decent enough all the same. The interiors are minimal without being clinical and there is a lovely outside area at the back. Overall another welcome addition to Baggott street.

What a fantastic choice foe delicious healthy food. The place it self is wonderful and has like a glass house which is lovely at sunny days. The food is delicious and very colorful like you cant eat it without taking some photos first! Salads are fantastic and the smoothy bowl was my fav.

After months of walking past the amazing window display of cakes and pastries, I finally got the chance to have lunch here. The salads offered are very unique and very tasty. I’d never seen a purple potato before. I chose one protein(seared tuna) + two salad option. The meal was very healthy so decided it was okay to balance it with a chocolate brownie! Amazing decision if I may say so myself! Do not leave the place without having a dessert!!! Had a lovely meal and feel it’s a great place for a relaxing, healthy lunch especially if you’re around the area at the weekend.

This is a super fancy place to go for lunch. Great selection of unique salads and meats — things you wouldn’t think of making yourself — I’m actually stealing their ideas to make at home! I think everything is served cold — except the soup — may not be the best place for a cold day! Fabulous selection of deserts ! Sometimes when I pass by this place — I do a bit of window shopping — everything looks so pretty, but I’m too young to be fat !!! Prices are high — but its Baggot Street after all.

I honestly can’t believe how good this place is. second time there on a Saturday for lunch this time. Had chicken with the halloumi salad and the sweet potatoe one. Perfect and filling. Had the chocolate and fig tart. I really love how the desserts are not too sweet and don’t leave you too full. Lovely staff too.

Bam! Yep… all 5 stars and deservingly so! This place is oozing with amazingness. So let’s break it down… Coffee The coffee is 3FE beans and the barista’s really know what they are doing. I’ve enjoyed coffee as take out and also sit in, on all 4 occasions I’ve been impressed. They open 7:30am so great for the pre-work rush in the area plus now opening on Saturday’s these are the best place to grab a coffee on Baggot Street. Food Unbelievably GREAT! From their sweet treats which lure you in from the shop front to the great salad, lunch and brunch menus… Everything is so amazingly crafted and made with love, you just can’t fault it. The price point here is high end although it’s the going price for fresh, local produce with all the great superfoods. I’ve only had food sitting in and always smiled ear to ear when the food arrives at the table, plated on bright plates and always delicately placed. The take out boxes, also look well done! The sweet treats, everything looks so pretty and utterly delicious. How to pick so I’ve decided to just start working my way down the list… win win! Décor/Ambience Bright café, clean crisp white walls with the most contemporary style seating/tables. Tables are always clean and set, as people leave they promptly get the table cleaned down and ready to go again, even if there is nobody waiting. Why do I mention this, well there is nothing worse than eating your lunch and stale food is lingering on the next table with staff just ignoring… The folks at Eathos have thought of everything… The way they approach their food, the way they approach their décor, the way they approach their customer service… 110% effort at all times! Staff The staff are great, always smiling and on hand to walk you through the menu options… Taking questions on the menu plus great on recommendations. My table service was always been so prompt, efficient yet with a friendly flair. This is firmly on my go-to list, living only 1 minute away… You have everything I want! Now, just open on Sundays and it’ll be marriage /till death us do part!

Well, I’ve found another coffee shop where they are serious about coffee. Consistently great coffee every time. They use 3fe beans so no surprise they are serious about the coffee but expect to pay 3fe prices also. € 3 for a flat white. The other thing that makes this place cool is the amazing pastries they sell! The selection is amazing. And they are seriously good! They have recently started to open on Saturdays now(previously they were Monday to Friday only). We had lunch last Saturday and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. It’s all based around healthy style eating but don’t let that put you off. I love a good old fri for breakfast but I’d gladly ditch the fri for one of the Ethos breakfasts any day. The café is very modern looking, good atmosphere and a really nice outdoor terrace. One cool thing is that you can pay € 2 for as much still or sparkling water as you want. I think we dropped about € 40 for brunch for two but it’s seriously worth it. So even if you’re not a coffee drinker you will still love this place. Pastries pastries pastries. :-)

Really, REALLY good quality food, but also really REALLY expensive if all you’re looking for is a mid-week lunch & quick escape from the office… It’s the kind of place I’d only go if I was being treated by my mum, because otherwise I just couldn’t justify spending that much money on a salad. As I said though, delicious food. So good infact that picking something off the menu took about 20 mins of hmm-ing & haw-ing at the counter…(But the courgette one was the winner in the end)

Eh wow. I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while, but as it’s over the other side of the city, I haven’t had a change. Wow. Wow. Wow. Good thing it is over that side, as I’d be fat and broke if it was any closer. Firstly — the décor and atmosphere is gorgeous. Everything is white, so the food on display is the absolute star of the show. It’s all laid out beautifully — it nearly looks fake it’s all so perfectly presented, with gorgeous colours and fragrant smells wafting from it all. I love the combination of healthy salads with sinful cakes & deserts. Sure if you have a salad for your main, surely a sneaky little red velvet cupcake wouldn’t do ya much harm!!! Everything I ate was bursting with flavour. Really, really excellent. I would however echo everyone else’s sentiments in that it is veery pricey. BUT. I’d totally go back. What can I say. They do what they do well, so perhaps they deserve to charge a premium!

Great new place to have coffee, cake or lunch. The coffee is supplied by 3Fe, so this pleases the coffee snob. With your coffee their is a vide selection of cakes and cookies to soothe your sweet tooth. If your working in this area you might also be pleased with the lunch they cater. The price indicates upperclass, but your getting really good stuff here and they have not squandered on the quality. This is probably one of better places around. If it rains there is a nice terrase in the back that allows you to sit in the«outside» and have you tea with friends around a round table. Quite nice and recommendable.

What the hell. When did this beauty appear? Such a fresh take on healthy food. Clean cut is the best way to describe it. The food label writing is actually beautiful. Plenty of gluten and dairy free choices, as well as paleo lunch options. Green beards juices also available. I look forward to the next morning I can have breakfast here.(Open weekends!)

This place is a little gem in the city! There are very few places that do wholesome lunches in Dublin, but this one is exceptional. Amazing food and desserts laid out in the windows to entice you inside. I got the Lemon Chicken with grated carrot salad. It was so fresh and tasty, full of flavour. My friend got the roast aubergine which she wasnt impressed with as it was served cold. The deserts in the window were too tempting to resist so we shared a Chocolate and Raspberry tart oozing with Mascarpone and white chocolate. It was on many levels the best dessert I’ve ever had. The design was cool, modern and sleek, ultimately minimalistic with a gorgeous garden area out the back. The only negative I would have was that when we went in first, it’s not entirely obvious whether you have to go to the counter to order or be waited on; but once we got over this hiccup the service was fantastic as well, very fast turnaround. I would highly recommend Eathos, shame it doesn’t open on the weekends!

The latest addition to the Baggot Street healthy eating trend is my new favourite place in the city. The windows are stacked with all kinds of alluring pastries and cakes that are near impossible to resist. I work nearby and popped in for breakfast recently. The emphasis here is on wholesome food that is still delicious and they really deliver. The breakfast menu has a few staples with a twist as well as some more quirky and unusual dishes. I opted for the buckwheat pancakes with pecan nuts, coconut yogurt, maple syrup, berries and a seed mix. It was indescribably good. Another nice aspect of the place is the pristine white modern chairs and tables and a pretty outdoor area. The staff are nicely turned out in denim aprons and keen to answer any questions about the food, which is all organically and locally sourced. Great options for coeliacs and other special dietary requirements here, but plenty to enjoy for the rest of us too. The coffee stock also sounds good if that’s your thing. Can’t wait to return for lunch!

ooooh… its all shiny and modern and sleek and white and ‘space agey’… get a table out the back in the conservatory and feel yourself bake as you enjoy some of the truly spectacular cakes and foods.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while so went along with my dad and our other halves today. Food was really fabulous, only complaint was the roast aubergine could have been seasoned better. The protein options were all fabulous with the fillet steak cooked to rare perfection. We couldn’t resist desserts and all 3 were really tasty. We treated our guests and it came € 100 for 4 people(including tip) for 3 salad plates with protein, one salad plate, 4 coffees and 3 desserts. In terms of value for money I think this price works as the quality was great but at € 25 per head it’s definitely not a cheap spot for a midweek lunch. We were seated in the covered outside space which while lovely wouldn’t be my preference in future. With this crazy weather it was either too hot or too cold. Also the acoustics aren’t great and we struggled to hear one another. I’d opt for an inside table next time. I’d definitely go back and would recommend checking it out if you’re into super healthy and tasty salads followed by decadent desserts.

Really really gorgeous place. They have the most tempting and amazing pastry display in the window which makes it impossible to walk by without having a quick gawk in. love the design all clean gloss White walls and tables. The inside looks like a set from iRobot really futuristic kinda feel I only treated myself to a coffee there which was top class, the stock 3fe coffee there. Very close to cocu kitchen which is another favourite of mine so will be interesting to see how they get on in the future. Cocu another solid place for a good coffee.
