We arrived just before closing, so they were out of nearly everything. Our fault, but we did choose the last two creampuffs which were divine! The only downside to such huge delectable puffs was trying to walk and eat at the same time without wearing it! I can’t wait to try something else next time.

Not unlike the story of the same name, this coffee shop is full of tasty sweet treats. The coffee is pretty solid and made freshly by friendly staff. The baked goods are the bigger draw here and there is a veritable buffet of pastries, muffins, and brownies available. The muffin was of course delicious and freshly made with great moisture and packed with flavor. The coffee wasn’t super fast, so leave a little time, but this should be your go to place for a pre-work breakfast and coffee.

visited this place sat 14th feb not to impressed with the surly girl behind counter busily making up sandwiches which looked nice but when I asked her if i could purchase 2 of them reply was not ready for a long time. even though it was lunchtime and my granddaughter and I were hungry after spending morning in the lovely new merrion park. Anyhow we bought a scone and coffee also biscuit cake all tasteless and coffee luke warm. Just as well we were undercharged or i would have been really annoyed. Hey your location is perfect so step up on quality and friendliness…

The beauty of this little shop drew me in! I picked up a few pastries(or buns) for a work meeting, so I didn’t try everything — but that’s because everything was gone! I got a mix of cookies, brownies, and rocky road, and everyone seemed to enjoy them all. I only tried a bit of the rocky road, which isn’t usually my favorite but that’s what was left, and I enjoyed it. I’ll definitely be heading back to this shop!

Stopped by here to grab a coffee and decided to get a matcha latte for a change. It was very well priced, as these can be ridiculously expense in some cafes. Loved the interior and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be dropping by again, and next time I’ll have to try one of their delicious looking pastries.

Like other reviews have said this place is pretty as a picture and the staff lovely. However, as we all know, looks aren’t everything. I’ve been in a good few times over the past months, having originally found it to be the best place for a croissant as close to those I’ve had in France; recently though the quality hasn’t been as good. Perhaps there just isn’t the demand for them, but they just aren’t as fresh as I’d expect if they were baking them daily. I’ve also sampled their cookies, which were a little disappointing and lacked flavor. They have an awful lot on offer though, and I’ll be in again to try the breads, and in the everlasting hope of reliving summer holidays in France with crisp light croissants fresh from the oven.

Finally popped in here yesterday after walking by it a million times. Very pretty shop with cakes and breads displayed on shelves and dressers. Kinda reminds me of my great grandma’s place. After a lot of deliberation I finally choose a white pan and a piece of carrot cake. The carrot cake was disappointing. The flavour was really nice and it had nuts and raisins but it was dry. Very dry. The icing was thin and almost crispy. As someone who makes their own carrot cake, I felt it was just not good. We toasted some of the bread this morning and it was pretty good. So I’d buy bread again Prices were very reasonable.

Very, very pretty store. I was definitely drawn in by the beautiful pastries and the lovely window display; the store has a great selection of beautiful baked goods. I have to say though I was a little disappointed by my Sablé biscuit(it was a buttery shortbread cookie with jam, and the other was with chocolate). My review is mainly for that — I’ll definitely come back to try the cakes and other pastries and if they’re any better I’ll update my review.

I popped in here because I’m a sucker for pastries in window displays; I’m glad I did. The inner décor, while sparse, is thoughtful and sweet. They had samples of some of their fruit tarts out(delicious) and a friendly smile to greet us. Similar to The Corner Bakery in Terenure, they serve coffee as well, though it’s definitely all takeaway — no café set-up here. I got some madelines(I’m a demon for these and their financier cousins), macaroons, a mini black forest cake, and a croissant/cream pastry shaped like a swan(!), all for about 8.50. Lovely little spot.
