Came here for the first time thinking I was just going to stay for an hour and then move on to the next place. My friend and I had such a great time we ended up staying the whole night! Go to the bar downstairs for a great atmosphere. The drinks are to die for!

Great spot for food and drinks. I visited here with a friend who is an American ex-​pat living in Paris when I asked her for a good cocktail bar in town. The drinks are very reasonably priced, and the food is good too. Funnily enough, another friend and I had been talking the night before about trying to find a bar better than one we had been to in Nashville, TN. The next day I went here and immediately texted him that I had found it. The staff is great, the cocktails are original, and if you tell them what you like, they will even work up something on the spot. A really great place, and I plan on going back here the next time I am in Paris.

My friend and I popped in here back in October for a quick cocktail before heading out to dinner, but we ended up never leaving until closing time! We went downstairs into the bar/​lounge and Tristan took such great care of us! He explained to us the origin of cocktails, shared with us some very cool old cocktail books and completely entertained and educated us with is passion for his craft!
My friend and I almost never have cocktails, as we are avid wine drinkers, however we tried several different specialty drinks that Tristan concocted for us, and each was more delicious than the last! We have been to Paris many, many times and our evening at A la Francaise was definitely a highlight and one of our most memorable outings!

We came for lunch and had a lovely meal. The burger was quite good. Came back for dinner a few days later and though the food was still ok, we experienced some class A douchebaggery when they padded the bill. This was not merely a misunderstanding since all 5 of us witnessed the sleaze. Stay away.

It looks like nothing special from the outside, but go downstairs and a French cocktail bar presents itself. The bartender is fantastic and friendly. And the bar only serves French made alcohol, so don’t go looking for Scotch. For a completely different option to the standard Experimental/​Candelaria crowd, I’d recommend this highly.

Un bar à cocktails vraiment sympa dans le quartier. À l’étage, un restaurant français très classique. Au sous-​sol, un bar à cocktails intimiste, lumière tamisée, musique Lounge et mobilier art-​deco. Les cocktails sont à des prix très raisonnables (10 €) et très bon, mais sans atteindre la qualité de ceux du Moonshiner ou du Badaboum. Un lieu sympa mais qui manqué de caractère. Il reste à tester le côté restaurant de l’étage, mais dans une ambiance totalement différente.

Un bar vraiment sympathique, avec une jolie déco! J’y suis allée pour la Paris Cocktail Week, il y a un bar à la cave, c’est assez original, et le cocktail est moins chère, c’est cool :)
J’ai pris une Eau Fraîche, c’est un cocktail super bon qui passé très bientôt, je le conseille vivement!
Les serveurs sont sympathiques, il y a une musique mais on peut discuter entre amis, et les sièges sont confortables!
Il y a tout ce qu’on peut attendre d’un bar A La Française, des cocktails originaux et bons, avec une bonne ambiance, je vous recommande chaudement cette endroit!
