So happy I decided to stop on my drive through Yuma! This place is amazing. Everything was made to order rather than previously being prepared. The chile rellleno was delicious! It is a sit down place, so grab a seat. Don’t order at the counter like I did thinking it worked like a fast food place. I caused some confusion for the staff. :(

Simple authentic and delicious. The ladies make a great fish taco and as another reviewer noted, on a par with those in San Diego. Highly recommended and does not disappoint.

They have been in business for more than 20 years. And in all that time they’ve not had to change much on their rather extensive menu, because it is all good. I love their version of an enchilada. It is big; actually really big. And swimming in red or green sauce. It is a feast for the eyes, and makes your taste buds want to dance. This is good stuff…

I love this place. I’ve been traveling to Yuma for work for over 10 years, and now I have difficulty eating tacos anywhere else. I would love to comment on the whole menu, but to be honest, I always order a Carnitas taco on corn tortillas and then one or two other a la carte items. I’ve had pretty much every taco on the menu, and they are all good, and inexpensive. I’ve also had the chile relleno, which is okay, but I prefer ones at other restaurants. I’ve also had their seafood cocktail, which is fine, but I prefer the ones at Juanita’s food truck. It’s really just about tacos, beer, chips and salsa for me here, and I love them for it. It’s not a trip to Yuma for me without a stop to see the ladies at Tacos Mi Rancho!

Small quaint mexican spot. The lengua was so good and moist. The enchiladas and tacos didn’t really stand out. I would go back for the lengua.

I just moved here from San Diego and wanted to try some Mexican food here in Yuma. I came here because of the Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed. They have good food but a lil pricey. We were not told that you pay extra for bean and rice on your plate.

I’ve been to Mexico many times… they have good menudo here, but other dishes were too bland.

Extensive menu… Delicious food, perfect spice… nicely warm, not over the top hot(tho I like hot peppers)…atmosphere and flavors a tiny taste of Mexico… pleasant surroundings — cozy and intimate… colorful…waitress very pleasant and personable and all smiles… nice interaction with her — truly paid attention to my questions and explained everything well and made certain I felt taken care of… salsa was fabulous… tortillas home-style… My meal was very inexpensive so I was able to top large… and it was well deserved… I’d love to return and sample the chili relleno burrito… I’ll stop my search for the best Mexican food in Yuma here…

Best shrimp ceviche I’ve ever had! This place has been here forever and is the best food this side of Mexico!

I have been going to this place since the late 80’s and it always has great food. Not once have I ever been disappointed with my meal. It’s a tiny little hole in the wall, not much too look at outside, with a well worn look inside. It’s a very small place and often standing room only while waiting for a table. It’s always busy there which speaks of it’s great food. Prices are reasonable and the portions huge. I typically order menudo, chile rellenos, and chicharrónes, while my mother usually orders the enchalada dinner. All great food.

Believe the hype. My husband and I followed the Unilocal reviews on our way back from AZ and we were not disappointed. We had the carne asada tacos, carnitas tacos, and pastor tacos, along with rice and beans. We loved it all and I ate all of the beans and rice in one sitting — they were that good. The salsa was good but not particularly hot. I would definitely go back if I happen to be passing through again!

Stopped in here after a long day in the saddle. The food was good and so was the service. I went with the Chicken Fajitas and my friend went with the #2. Both were good, though I was hoping for a little more flavor with the Fajitas. The salsa was very good, but the chips were a little greasy tasting. Overall a good place to eat.

Stopped through Yuma and needed some food. Saw that this place has good ratings… Very disappointed. Service was quick but the barbacoa was dry and not very flavorful. My wife got the burrito and all it had was meat in it. No beans, no rice, just meat. Not impressed at all. I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

On our drive back to Dallas from San Diego we stumbled upon this small restaurant with great authentic Mexican food. My husband loved his menudo! Fish taco was awesome… Crispy on the outside! Good service.

Disappointing after having a great experience at Mi Rancho down the street. First of all, they were slammed on a Saturday brunch time. Secondly, the impatient waitress kept misunderstanding my order which was simple — two quesadillas and two taco plates. We ended up with two beef tacos each instead of three chicken tacos. No biggie, I like both, but I really wanted the chicken. The chips were not the same as the other location. There were not the thick, crunchy chips fresh out of the hot oil, but standard and bland. The salsa was a pale comparison to the deliciously-seasoned salsa from two days ago at Mi Rancho down the road. I don’t think they tasted it at Tacos Mi Rancho at all. The meat was dry and bland, one glob stuck to the bottom of my taco tasted like fish jerky. The beans were not the smooth, creamy, salty beans, but standard bland beans. The rice was not perfect as it had been, but stickier and more tomatoey. It was not served with the delicious crumbly white queso. All in all, everything was standard, bland, and nothing stood out. I wish I would have gone back to the Mi Rancho down the road. Also, this place had one dollar sign, but it should be two. Over $ 40 for my kids’ quesadillas and two taco plates.

This is great Mexican food in a town of Mexican food. I have had fantastic shrimp and fish tacos here. The meat tacos taste great(try lengua) but seafood needs extra love to get the batter right and these guys do it! Today I tried the chille rellano. Once again a perfect batter and a nice change up of red sauce instead of green. Rice is ok but the beans are creamy and have little chunks of cheese on them. If none of that floats your boat try the goat stew or green or red chili. All great stuff. Some things are more of a value than others. $ 11.99 is a smidge high for rellanos but I think it would be nit picking to give them a lower star rating for this. It’s a old looking building but is clean inside. Parking is out front. Service has always been good here. It seems like the same little ladies year in year out.

This was not as good as expected. If you are driving thru from Phoenix and heading to San Diego keep going. Food very very salty, order messed up and It was their fault! They put it into a to go box and charged us for their mistake. Tsk tsk, bad business for a $ 2.00 mistake. Food was ok, but not what all the reviews raved about. Unfortunately when you Unilocal anything in Yuma, the results are slim pickings. Best review to stick with is Del Taco.

Really good food, GREAT chips and salsa, friendly service and a cool ambiance. Really dug this place and would definitely come here again. I had chicken fajitas and my sis had two ceviche tostadas, one shrimp and one fish. Everything was GREAT! Prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Good stuff!!!
