Cute coffee shop and friendly employees. Coffee was good but over priced. 2 small blended coffees and 2 cookies $ 16.00! Yikes!

The muffins are always great. All the baked goods really. The drinks are yummy(smoothies, coffees, etc). All average priced. The slightly low review I finally decided to write is because they still have not figured out a person to deliver your drinks to you. I think it is pretty inconvenient that you have to get up and down to get your drinks, especially when there is a larger group dining here… it becomes a hassle and everyones drinks are ready at different times… some people do not get their drinks until the end of lunch… etc. It’d just be so much nicer to not have to wait forever at drink counter /«keep checking in» every 5 minutes to see if drinks are on counter. I am not the only one who thinks this should happen… Please start sending someone to bring the drinks to us! We would love it! Other than that, lovely people that work there, always friendly. And like I said, good food and good drinks. Nice place. I would recommend going here.

Nice little gem on the way to Joshua Tree. I stopped in for a wrap and a smoothie. I also stopped on the way out of town for a latte and a muffin. Menu is basic, but very good. I think there is something for just about anyone, including vegans. Lots of seating and a little patio area up front. This is one of those coffee houses like the used to be, not that big«mermaid» chain one. If I lived here, I would be at this place everyday.

Super delicious quiche and fresh smoothies, interesting coffee drinks(the Flabbycheeks, anyone? some sort of chocolate cherry madness). There’s plenty of seating and the staff are super friendly. We try to hit this place every time on our way out of town. yum!

I came here with my daughter and saw that they serve lemonade. She ordered a blended chai and I ordered a lemonade. Their large is a 20 oz. she paid for our drinks and the total for 2 drinks was 11.56. I assumed that the blended chai was the reason it was so costly. After looking at the receipt, I saw that they charged $ 6.75 for a 20 oz lemonade. When I took my first drink, it tasted like water with a little lemon and sugar. I’ve had much better at fast food restaurants. It’s a shame that they are price gouging, probably because they cater to a lot of tourists, hikers and people who will pay top dollar for whatever is on the menu.

The food, coffee and other drinks here are really pretty good. The fat women, working behind the counter here, yeah not so much. In fact one was pretty bitchy. That sucked. I guess she was having a bad day/week/life? Cool live entertainment sometimes too.

This place is great! Really good quiche! Super sweet staff. My new friend Shannon is the best! On our way through to Joshua Tree, we stopped because the place looked cute. The menu selections were terrific and everybody in there was awesome. If you guys were in Pasadena, I’d hang out here every day. My son says that his vanilla cream soda was the best he’s ever had.

Today the bathrooms were disgusting, and there were small pieces of black debris floating in my ice water which makes me suspect the ice bins are not being cleaned and are growing black mold/bacteria. Gross. My 6.00 drink was good but I could no longer enjoy it after seeing the filthy restroom conditions and the dirty ice water. My grade is an F.

I think they make the best quiches I’ve had in my life. The place is comfortable and spacious with outdoor seating. They also have really good lattes with quirky flavors like Black Forest which is dark chocolate and cherry. I enjoyed the desert weirdo talents(I mean that as a compliment) who come in to serenade the crowd.

Oh my goodness… why, oh, why didn’t I take photos of my hot chocolate piled high with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, and my huge-crazy-moist brownie? Well, just try to picture those in your head while I talk about everything else that was so great about this coffeehouse. First of all, it LOOKS and FEELS like an authentic coffeehouse.(In actuality, It is a great old building that used to be a pharmacy on the corner of the street made over into a wonderful place to meet, converse, nibble some kibble, and sip.) There is an outdoor sitting area(it was too cold on this night, but I can’t wait to revisit and lounge outside)…big windows… a tin ceiling… lots of beautiful architectural details from the railings to the doors to the counter where you order. The menu is full of quiche, desserts, coffees, teas and hot chocolate. A perfect snacking place. What made this visit so special was the people. Walking up to the doors from the street, a girl was sweeping outside. She smiled real big and welcomed us. Once inside(and I mean two steps in the door) we were greeted by a nice young guy who welcomed us, asked if it was our first visit, and then proceeded to talk about all the above mentioned architecture that I love(and clearly he does as well). The girl at the counter was good humored and patient as I waffled back and forth between drink orders… and the barista who made my hot chocolate was proud of her work(telling me about the secret homemade recipe for the chocolate drizzle I didn’t photograph!) There is something so special about visiting a place of business where every single worker seems so happy to be there… and even happier that you came in! My guy and I enjoyed our time there so much that we lingered, even as the employees were putting the chairs up on the tables at closing time. And we were delighted that nobody rushed us out. In fact, more conversation ensued and we had even more great memories made in this great place. Forget visiting the big, famous coffee chain down the road. Stop in here. I promise you won’t be sorry.

This place has become a staple stop on our way to J-Tree. We park here and order something delicious and then make our way to The End and do some damage there. To Order: 1. Honeybee is easily my number 1 favorite drink here. I’ve tried a lot of their different types but this one is the best. Not too sweet, strong coffee flavor, smooth and delicious. This last time I tried to sub the milk for almond milk. DONTDOIT. Their almond milk made the coffee taste kind of sour? It was totally different than the regular one, and not in a good way. 2. QUICHE. their quiche here is amazing. I don’t remember having one better than I did here. We tried the onion and mushroom one. Oh my word. Instead of mixing the cheese with the egg they actually put a layer of cheese under the egg mixture. It’s so brilliant, and the egg mixture is seasoned to perfection. That’s it. That’s all you need. Eat and drink and be happy. P. S. we came here on a Sunday afternoon and they had a guy playing guitar. He was awesome. would love to read a book here and listen.

Boy has Yucca Valley changed. I have not been here in about 20 years. Glad to see it is attracting cool shops and restaurants. Stopped in this very cool coffee sandwich shop. Walk up to the counter and its time to order with people behind me, I look up and BAM… I don’t know if the blond behind the counter owns the place or just works here but wowzaaa, I could not think. Time to order… she just looks at me, I can’t think of my order because I’m in shock… shes gorgeous. Ok…back to the review. Food was great, coffee was wonderful, very cool place and I will definitely be back. ;)

Not what it use be. We use to come here daily until the management made some changes and now the place just isnt the same. We have tried to support this place but the last few times have left us with such bad experiences. We went there today for the last time. We ordered food togo. They charged us for food we didn’t get, the food we got was burnt food, and to top it off we had a few surprise surcharges on our bill. Hate to say it, but you’re better off going to Starbucks down the street or making the short drive into Joshua Tree to Natural Sisters Café. It’s a shame, this places has so much potential…

So glad we found this coffee shop near our house we stayed at in Joshua Tree! It’s so convenient because it’s on the 29 Palm Highway road! We happened to get to JT before check in time so had a Carmaretto which is half caramel and half amaretto latte. Delish!!! It was pretty darn good! The second time we came when we were headed to alas I had a blueberry pineapple smoothie and it was also good.

Great find! Ran into this place as we were on our way for a weekend getaway nearby. It had good reviews and conveniently on the road we were on so we decide to stop by. Walked in to a large seating around with plenty of table, even some outside. The décor inside is very Café-ish plus cool desert décor as well. One of their walls is a chalk board so you can write notes on it. Very cool feature and seems to keep kids occupied while their parents order. The coffee’s here are very different, they have combinations like caramel/amaretto, milk/honey, blueberry/dork chocolate and many others. The coffee’s is what we had and they were all good. We also tried their 3 leches cake and that was surprisingly real tasty, not too sweet at all like I expected. The staff is ok here, I mean they help but the friendly attitude I think is missing. NO smiles or anything but they do get things right. Small sacrifice for good items although customer service is important to me. Either way, I will be back if ever in the area for sure.

Very much enjoyed this little café while staying in Yucca Valley/Pioneertown for a weekend. The coffee gets the job done, the whole staff is as cheery and friendly as can be, and they’ve got quiche for days. Well, really 4 – 5 types, if one’s being a stickler. I am usually turned off by chorizo(and quiche, for that matter), but I couldn’t resist the other flavors in the Lucifer palate parade: Chorizo, jalapeños, sausage, cheese. It was greasy but didn’t leave me feeling Josie grossie. It’s a sizable piece, to boot. Their muffins deserve a nod. The blueberry was bursting with massive blueberries and the walnut/peach number had a little pouch of cream cheese inside… I love surprises! They were also huge and the cake part was moist. Yes, I said moist. They have wifi, lots of tables(both inside and out), and live music on the weekends. They really made us feel like regulars even though I’m sure most of their clientele is the«just passing through» type!

Iced teas, for the win! I’ve also tried the muffins, and they are delish. Oh, and the pecan tart is good too. My only qualm is that every time I’ve been there I try to order something from the display case, based on the sign card in front of the thing I am trying to order, and every time I am told the sign is wrong and they don’t actually have what I’m trying to get. Confused? Me too. Service is friendly, but the line can move slow.
