First of all the staff are first class and the manager really cares about his cliental. The food has been consistently excellent. I believe I should know my wife and I frequent Plaza for to many times in a week than we should. Eventually the Plaza staff have become an extension of our family. All I say is give them a chance and I believe you will be back. Thanks Mark and Paige Stephens

Got the chicken fajita salad and it came with packets of ranch dressing. Why would a dine in establishment serve packets of dressing? It really ruined the salad. Husband enjoyed his enchiladas.

I have to say the food here was a surprise! I am from the west coast and this Mexican food tasted fresh with lots of flavor! You must try the spinach chicken enchiladas! The margaritas are strong and tasty! Our server was friendly and very attentive. We ordered the guacamole and they brought out a cart and prepared it right in front of the table! I will be back the next time I’m in town!

Not the best Mexican food. Server wasn’t really rude but he definitely acted not happy. Table side Guacamole was not the best and it cost $ 7.99 where in other places don’t charge.

Lunch was just good. Service was nice, if a bit flirtatious. Food was on par for my expectations. Speed of food service was extremely fast. Love the salsa, rice, and fresh ingredients. Price was good for serving sizes. So why 3 stars? We didn’t get a single piece of silverware that matched, and one fork still had food on it which was gross. Sweet tea wasn’t super sweet like I wanted. Kid’s drink was served in a regular adult sized glass. My 8 year old was too short to reach the straw without tipping the cup. Also, the chicken quesadila should have had more cheese, it did have tons of chicken which was nice.

I came here with a friend on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly at a great table that allowed us to park our double stroller next to it, as requested. Food and drinks were served in a timely manner. I had the chimichanga dinner and liked it. My friend had the fajitas which should have been sizzling hot and the tortillas in one of those warmers with a lid, instead of being wrapped in tin foil. One downer: I looked this restaurant up in Unilocal and saw that they wouldnt take reservations. I called them anyway and were actually able to make one. However, when I showed up I was informed that they did not take reservations Who answered the phone then? Even a backwards phone number search on Google revealed that the Unilocal phone number was indeed this place’s. We still got a great table right away to fit our needs, so I wont hold it against them. Still weird though.

Shrimp tacos are about the only thing on the menu worth getting… oh yeah and a frozen margarita. Otherwise most of the other items on the menu are pretty typical for a chain Mexican restaurant. Food comes out almost 5 minutes after you order it(I swear they are psychic because no place can cook a meal that fast). Food is also very salty(probably a ploy to get you to order more beer/margarita). Good place if you have no where else to go.

Food was horrible they add milk to the cheese so the enchiladas are runny. Our food came out quickly but it was cold. Services was poor. will not be returning.

Stopped for lunch one day and had the fajitas. Food was very good and service was fast. Best Mexican I’ve had in Yorktown so far.

Pretty good American-Mexican food. This place has nice lunch specials, several meatless. The chips and salsa are fine, and they serve that mayo and olive white stuff if that’s your jam, just ask. I’ve visited the one in Williamsburg quite a bit, but this was my first time at this location. Service was fine, but they forgot we asked for guac, so that was kind of a bummer. The server came by after our food had been delivered and realized what had happened, but at that point we said forget it. That being said, if you like guacamole, theirs is pretty tasty. Huge portion too.

Well, that was disappointing. I understand that it’s a family restaurant, but I’ve always found children screaming while I’m attempting to eat to be quite frustrating. And how is it that one kid squalling always seems to set off the others? I understand that sometimes the staff might be reluctant to say something, but when the people near us proceeded to change a baby diaper in the booth, I’d have thought they’d have at least directed them to the restrooms. Not so. We’ve enjoyed our food here in the past, but last night’s meal was also a miss. I ordered the steak fajita salad. It consisted of a place of(watery) lettuce, four slices of cucumber, a bit of chopped tomato, and very overdone fajita meat on top. It appeared unappetizing, and didn’t taste any better. The menu states that it also has cheese & pico de gallo, but it wasn’t apparent in mine. The waiter insisted that what I had was correct, so I gave up, but upon looking at the menu online, I see that the salad was indeed not made properly. I’ve had better experiences here in the past, but with the other options available in the area, meh. I’ll pass next time.

Serving an American bastardization of Mexican food, you’ll be starting off with some stale chips and two kinds of dipping sauce. One that tastes like mayonnaise with a hint of anti-freeze, and the other tastes like vine ripened tomatoes and feet. Drinks are served in 55 gallon drums of 99% ice. For the main course, you have a choice of 12 different names for a burrito. Dessert is a delicious assortment of 10 year old vending machine candy. ENJOY!

Although we enjoyed the food quite a bit, it seems as though the service was something left to be desired. The food was hot and fresh and came to us rather quickly but out server paid little attention to us. We will come back but maybe try a different server.

To me, the food here is just ok — nothing to write home about. But the reason I’m giving the 4 stars is for the fresh guacamole we had. They make it fresh from a cart in front of you. This is how good it is… my cousin hates onions, I mean hates them with a passion. The Guacamole had onions in it — she ate half of the guacamole by herself — that’s how good it is. If you try anything here, definitely try the guacamole

One of our monthly stops. A variety of Mexican cuisine staples done better than you can.(Unless of course you have some sort of Tijuana Culinary Institute training). Inexpensive place where you won’t spend more than 15 $ a plate. I get to-go orders all the time here, not because the service isn’t good, it’s actually pretty solid. But because I get this all the time, i’d rather go home to my shows. Anyways it’s pretty hard to mess up Mexican cuisine. It’s all the same ingredients, just in a different serving vessel. Burrito, enchilada, quesadilla, and of course the taco. It’s all the same thing just wrapped in a variety of tortillas and sizes. Still they do a solid job of it. And that’s what brings me back. Solid service, solid food, and of course the margaronas. Margarita with a Coronita sticking out of the top. Solid. Only rated it 4 stars because they aren’t a 5 star restaurant you will find in big cities. Simply put its a chain that is supposed to be a 3 star restaurant that surpasses that level and deserves the rating of… Quattro.

The place looks nice and there’s plenty of seating. It’s probably the best Mexican place in the Yorktown area, but there’s just no «wow» factor here for me that would make me become a regular. I came here with a fairly large group to celebrate the birthdays of a couple of coworkers and the space and service made it appropriate for the occasion. There’s a lot of seating, a fairly large bar area and overall modern/fun atmosphere. I had one of the combination dinners(all combos are $ 9.99). It included a burrito, taco and chili relleno. It was good, though it would have been nice to have it served with rice and beans considering the price. I mostly chose this combo for the chili relleno, which was pretty standard. The menu is fairly extensive and offers some nontraditional Mexican dishes(aka Americanized fluff). I had a jumbo margarita on the rocks($ 7.99), which was pretty stiff. I was expecting a better HH price though. The service was quick. We were happy to have a Spanish speaker in our party because our server was not totally fluent in English and needed some help when divvying the bill.

Moving more upscale and toward authenticity with Cochina Pibil enchiladas, other closer-to-traditional Mexican fare. Service has always been fine, food well turned out. Dark wood décor, many booths, some new artistic candle arrangement on back wall. We like it and eat there often. Parking is a mite scarce at times.

Solid«Mexican» food. Don’t go here if you grew up in SoCal and only like«authentic» Mexican food. You’ll be disappointed, and none one wants to read about how much«better» your favorite place in SoCal is. Go here if you want reasonably priced, consistent, and relatively fast Tex-Mex(along with a few more authentic dishes). Be sure to ask for the white sauce; they stopped putting it at every table, though they’ll bring you some if you ask for it.
