Workers in the food area do not work with any sense of urgency. They will make a sub, then stand around while fries are cooking. Someone needs to prioritize how they make food. Save yourself time and go to Sheetz.

This location is right off I-83 and is a pretty easy stop whether you are going north or south. You must make sure you use the rear exit if you are looking to get back on I-83 though. Being the only gas station immediately off this exit does have its drawbacks though. It is always has some of the more expensive gas in the area. Other than the fact it is easy to get to from the highway, there really isn’t anything special about this location. Just like most Rutters stores, they have food made to order as well as your standard convenience store snacks. If you are passing through the area and need a quick pit stop, this place will be great.

I love Rutter’s. I’ve been to Sheetz and Wawa, but I’m a new convert. It’s your convenience store and then more. Amazing! Just go, and you’ll find out why.

This place opened pretty recently and every time I stop by it’s because the gas prices tend to be pretty kick butt. Plus, the convenience store is HUGE!!! And, not to mention, it’s pretty nice. Pluses — coffee. There are about 8 different kinds brewing(colombian blend, house, vanilla hazlenut, decaf, etc.), they leave about 4 – 5 different kinds of creamer out for you to use, along with various syrups(irish cream, honey, etc), chocolate/nutmeg/cinnamon/marshmallows, and different milks(half and half, whole, 1%…I just wish they put out skim and soy)…AND they have the push-button style cappuccino machines too, if that’s your thing. They also have an area where they have iced coffee and iced teas(sweet or not sweet) near a milkshake machine or something like that. Which is next to one of those Sheetz-esque Made-to-order stations and a soda fountain. Goodness. You can also pick up fresh fruit already cut up for your drive, yogurt parfaits, and other fresh healthy-ish stuff. They have a wide variety of junk food crap for those of you that need that, although be warned that I have bought bags of chips here that were definitely past their prime. BIG plus — squeaky clean bathroom. We’ll see how long that lasts though. Overall, a great place to get gas and a snack if you’re in the area.
