I’ve been to almost all of these chains in New York and I must say this one might be the worst. The employees almost seem as though your bothering them while they’re hanging out with their friends, the wait is also ridiculously long. This particular CCF is located near a movie theatre and big shopping mall so you would think they would be prepared for a crowd on any given day which is not the case. We had to wait until the food was brought to get bread which is unacceptable, it’s almost as though they are told not to bring bread out early for big groups so they don’t fill up on it and order less, lol. They food was ok, nothing to write home about but their portions are crazy. They definitely give you a decent amount. Bottom line if you’re on a date and don’t mind a wait, eat here. If you’re a group of four or more don’t

Every time I go here they give me an approximate wait time, then I wait double that and end up only eating here half the time so take this with a grain of salt but this was the last straw. If you’re out to eat food and can survive a couple of hours of wait time to eat and aren’t at risk of starving then the cheesecake factory is for you, otherwise please go to one of the many other restaraunts at Ridge Hill. The food is only just alright anyway so it’s not like you’re missing out.

The service here was great! Our waiter Freddie Flores was excellent. He was very articulate and explained the menu items flawlessly. He recommended new dishes to us that we’re great! The service was above par. Next time you’re in Ridge Hill ask for Freddy!

Never been a fan of Cheesecake Factory and the food never wow’d me. How can a restaurant have over 50 entrees available and be able to perfect them all? That still boggles my mind. The establishment itself is beautiful and the staff was kind and on top of their serving game. I had the gumbo but it was super salty and what it is interesting is they don’t de-vein their shrimp. As much as they charge that should of been a given. Never the less I would come back if someone asked me to join them, but I rather spend my money on locally owned restaurant than large corporate chains. I recommend make a reservation if you plan to come with large groups and if it is only two of you then just plant yourself at the bar for faster service. Also, Cheesecake Factory validates your parking for the first two hours.

My husband, mother, children and I visited the cheesecake factory at Ridgehill this past week. We visited due to my husband’s birthday and my daughter’s graduation(This was my husband’s first time at any cheesecake factory). From the beginning, I was disappointed with the service and quality of the food. As it being a weekday(Tuesday), it wasn’t very busy and we were seated almost immediately outside(upon our request). EVERYSINGLETHING we wanted, I had to call the waiter over to get. I had to find him to get our appetizers in, call him over to get our drinks ordered, request water, ask for him to come so we could get our entrée order in. He simply neglected our table. When it got a little chilly, we asked for the heater to be turned on. When the heater turned off, we asked the waiter to turn it back on. He said okay but walked back inside. We had to request the manager when he walked by to help us and turn it on. To add insult to injury half of the time, the waiter was just standing around at the other end of the patio. One other thing that bothered me was that I asked for a glass of water and I told him it was my husband’s birthday and I would like for him to get sung happy birthday at the table. He said okay. The food came(much smaller portions than the Nyack and White Plains location) and we finished. He came and just gave us the bill. There was no asking of if we wanted dessert, no asking if we wanted anything else and certainly no happy birthday for my husband. I became infuriated because once I gave him my card he literally stood next to our table eyeing the tip. So lets recap, I had to ask for everything for our meal, you never returned regarding our heater, and didn’t sing happy birthday as I requested. We will never be returning to the cheesecake factory at this location ever again. People come to the cheesecake factory for a delicious special meal to share with friends and family. If I wanted to ask for everything or get it myself I could have cooked at home.

Cheesecake Factory is the best! Everything on the menu is delicious. The menu is more like a novel; so many options from drinks to entrees and appetizers and of course, dessert! Any time is the perfect time for this restaurant. Just this year alone, I went for my birthday, New Year’s Eve, and to celebrate my first year in college. My favorite items here are the orange chicken with white rice plate, the tropical iced tea, the Godiva cheesecake, the strawberry shortcake dessert, and the salted caramel cheesecake. Side note, the bread and butter there is always warm and fluffy. The brown bread is my favorite. Happy service, great food, great atmosphere. Definitely go here!

Cheesecake Factory is one of my favorite restaurants. However at this particular location, the atmosphere wasn’t up to par. My sister, finished her second year as a Urologist and It was her birthday. It was evening time and it was nearly empty inside. On arrival, The hostess was not friendly and lied about our wait time. We spoke to her twice in regards to being seated. Once we were seated, we asked the hostess to kindly offer us new eating utensils. This is what we always ask because if u have eaten at Cheesecake Factory as many times as I’ve had, they always place utensils on the table and never on a napkin. Hostess never brought us fresh utensils. We had to flag down a waiter because NOONE ever approached us. We informed Our waiter of the lack of service immediately. The waitress took our order and disappeared for half an hour. She also switched shifts with another waiter who had to take our orders over. Apparently our initial waitress went on lunch and«forgot«to tell our 2nd waiter. To add insult to injury, the second waiter was having a full conversation with another customer who came in way after me and my sister did. We cordially interrupted his conversation and asked to speak with a manager. This all occurred before we even had our actual meal. My family has been coming to Cheesecake for years and informed the Negligent manager of her incompetent, lazy, unwelcoming staff. Manager apologized and accommodated my us «dessert» and percentage off of our bill.

The décor and arrangement is very nice. I came close to closing time but enough time to order and eat. My friend and I ordered small plates, which was pretty delicious! Chicken Samoas– filled with Chicken cut up finely, it comes with this Cilantro Sauce. I wasn’t a fan of that sauce. Tex Mex Egg Rolls– Delicious Avocado Egg Rolls– My friend enjoyed Crispy Fried Cheese– different version of mozzarella sticks. Yummy Problem was the waitress, she didn’t seemed interested with us from the beginning(maybe because of the time). Her face seemed annoyed, she took awhile to get to us. She said she would be right back then fled. When she came back we knew what we wanted completely. We ordered and some one else dropped off the food. We were almost done by the time she checked up on us. People look like they hate their jobs, from the person who sat us to the server. Only one little black guy had a smile

I hate the fact that almost every time I ordered to go which is crazy that my order is messed up one way or another. Let alone my food either cold or not too warm I literally make it to the car and begin eating it’s sad cause I expect more taken the fact A: it being so well known for there great food and service B: The wait time is ridiculous C: Males bathroom hand dryers don’t work half the time or out of paper towels and the urinals are normally messy On a lighter note the drinks are good I would sit at bar

We were a party of 6 on a Saturday night, so we expected a wait. We were told 1 hour 20 minutes, but waited closer to two hours. While we waited, we were lucky to get two seats at the bar. Only to sit next to several angry customers who were eating at the bar because their waits had been so long. The bar staff was lackluster and more interested in talking to each other than helping customers. Then the real disaster started when we were seated. It took way too long to get anyone to stop at our table for water or to take a drink order. Once we finally ordered, the appetizers came and were just OK. Our entrees came, and the hamburger ordered medium came out looking like beyond well done. That took a long time to find our new server(they changed servers for some reason) she took it back and said they would make a new one. By the time the new one came, everyone had finished their dinners. It was also improperly cooked — rare on the inside and burned on the outside. I wasted 3 ½ hours of my life in here, and can’t believe how crowded it is. Why do people go here when there are so many other places in the same shopping center? Save your calories and cash and go elsewhere.

I have been to The location in Westbury, NY. Maybe they use different recipes or maybe they should focus on foods they do well consistently. The buffalo wings were good. The salmon was ok. The shrimp sandwich was too messy and too much mayo/sauce. The broccoli was over cooked. The service was decent. Not sure I would return. The banana cheesecake just tasted like banana pudding.

I was a little worried coming here because of the reviews but my experience here was awesome. Me and a couple of friends came here for girls night and only had to wait 20 mins to be seated. Appetizers– We shared the advocado egg rolls and fried cheese which both were delicious. Drinks– I had the carribean cooler and a Sangria, my friend Annette had the blueberry mojito, my friend Janine had the blood orange mojito. All the drinks were delicious and not too strong. Dinner– I had the crispy shrimp sandwich(loved it and would def get it again), Annette had the chicken piccata, Janine had the grilled steak tacos. Food was cooked well, came out in a timely manner and tasted great. The waiter Johan was extremely helpful since my friend Annette had a lot of questions lol he was very patient. Dessert– Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake… omg! Heaven! We shared this because we were so full. Overall amazing experience and great night with my girls!

Do not go here on the weekends! The wait can be anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours. It is a small location, the cheesecake is amazing and the food is good, but not worth the long wait. The waiter kept forgetting about us, it was frustrating. Next time I will go on a weekday afternoon.

Way too crowded for me and it’s a much smaller space then other ones I’ve been to. We waited 40mins to be seated and had to wait outside because of how crowded it was and the waiting area is too small and you can’t walk in and out with ease. The food was slow to arrive. What peeved me the most was how they had the utensils on the table and when you felt the table you could feel the food residue on it, NASTY! And those utensils were not cleaned at all. Service wasn’t bad. And the food was good.

Good little spot .! It’s always crowded though, so I just take out. The workers are a little slow. Oh well. Cheesecake is good . Update — I had good food here ! Mashed potatoes were excellent with chunks of potatoes, salmon was cooked perfectly and asparagus was so good, all for about $ 20 I never knew food was so good here because I avoid franchises and go to local owned places. Boy I missed out, glad I’m now in the loop!

I enjoyed this cheesecake factory. Just like any other location you’d go to in terms of the food, service and restaurant atmosphere I went here over a year ago so I don’t remember every detail, but I don’t recall any problems I had with the food or service. I think this is a great place to go for dinner if you want other things to do since its located in a shopping center, so you can go shopping or watch a movie before or after your meal, very convenient Only con I have is the shopping center, there’s a $ 3 parking fee that cant be bypassed, which is not good if you just want to go in and out to pick something up

Completely ignore my previous review of the Cheesecake factory. Since then I have come two more times and my experience was delicious. If you decide to eat here, the nachos with chicken are a MUST. It is their signature appetizer and is absolutely decadent. Literally mouth-watering thinking about it. Also, the shrimp scampi dish is amazing. The shrimp is top quality and the sauce is delicious. It comes with angel hair pasta, which is also great! Overall, definitely one of their top entrees. Everyone also enjoys their burgers because they have a great variety. However, if you love seafood and pasta — their shrimp scampi dish is excellent. Of course, the cheesecake is the best too. The banana crème one is my personal favorite. The décor is very romantic and beautifully arranged. There is usually a wait to be seated at the Cheesecake factory. Especially after 7pm. However, it is definitely worth trying. They serve you bread with your dinner and offer great drinks to choose from. There is a bar area for those looking to come for drinks and a quick bite. They also offer a «skinnylicious“menu for people that are on a diet. It is a very broad menu. Some dishes are better than others. If you try what I suggested, I am sure you will be happy because it was very good. Stay away from the spinach and artichoke dip and the pot stickers. The stuffed mushrooms and wings are also very good.

Just like any other cheesecake factory, they boast on their big décor. N thats all it is. Its basically an overpriced diner with salty horrible food. I never liked cheesecake factory due to the quality of its food but i been at ridgehill hundreds of time n never tried cheesecake factory n decided to give it a try n pop in for lunch. Worst decision ever. People actually pay to eat garbage. Their vietnamese rolls was stale, pot stickers was salty — taste like frozen food. My sister’s food was too sweet n overwhelming, my hibachi steak was too salty n i asked for medium rare but my meat came out raw and tasted rotten. As though their meat been out to thaw over night. I returned the plate after 2 tiny bites. The waitress was friendly but obviously very new. She dont have the basics of customer service or serving skills. Upon getting the bill, i was charged for what i didnt eat. Just simply told her… u guys actually charge me for something i didnt eat? N she replied, oh i could take it off if u want. Its not about what i want, its logic. If a customer return a plate basically untouched, you takd it off the bill without having to ask. Not worth it n definitely not coming back.

It pains me to leave this negative review. The manager tried to make it up to us and comped the dish that was bad… But I can’t in good conscience give a bad experience a pass. My wife and I were celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary. This is the fourth or fifth Cheesecake factory I have been to, I figured you can’t go wrong. Boy was I wrong. To start with, my Bluemoon draft beer was«flat». Either it was poured wrong or the tap/line was dirty. The service was decent, but the main dishes were pretty bad. My wife always orders the same dish– the chicken farfalle with roasted garlic. This time the panchetta was burned black and made the entire dish taste like a charcoal bricket. The cream sauce was very watery and had not been reduced properly and the dish was quite salty. My dish was pretty good. I ordered the Steak Diane with Shrimp Scampi. The mashed potatoes were salty and cold and it came with three large shrimp and three medallions of steak which was cooked exactly as requested(the meat was lacking salt). The cheesecake was great, especially their new salted caramel. On our way out my wife and I used the rest rooms. Both were out of toilet paper, filthy and the mens room had a special surprise. Either someone had an accident or they used the bathroom and realized there was no toilet paper and left a pair of dirty underwear in the stall to accompany the pissed on toilet seat and soggy floor. Overall the ambience of the restaurant is nice and the area where it is located is incredibly nice. But they need to get their act together and the cooks have to maintain high quality standards and management needs to ensure that the bathrooms are checked on regularly because it is such a busy restaurant. I am resigned to find a filthy bathroom in a fastfood restaurant, not in the Cheesecake Factory.
