Have only tried the gelato here, but that alone is enough for a very positive review. It’s our go-to place in the area for«ice cream». Flavors are delicious and always seem fresh. It’s a casual place with some seating and I imagine it would be a good place to drop in to sit over an espresso or cappuccino. I love baked goods, but haven’t been enticed by what’s on display. We just load up on gelato to go.

We learned about this place in the Westchester magazine and ordered the cartoccio-sugar filled donut with cannoli cream, two pistachio cookies and two espressos. I lived in Italy, we have visited 3 times since and we felt like we were transplanted back. There is no place in the Tristate area like it. Very happy to have it up the road from us. Looking forward to going back to try the gelato and a doppio espresso.

We popped in here quickly after grabbing dinner down the street as these guys have some of the better gelato and pastries in the area. The shop has a good amount of seating/tables that you can pop in and enjoy some sweets here if you like. They also seem to have a espresso/cappuccino machine if you need a little pick-me-up as well which is nice. I can imagine this place does get busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so make sure to plan accordingly if you are in need of some sweets before you head to your destination. I believe they had about 20 or so gelato flavors and a window of pastries/cookies/etc. As we came in after dinner, they were close to closing up but we ended up taking some hazelnut(nocciola) and pistacchio ice cream to go. When we finally were able to enjoy it, you can get a sense of the creaminess in the texture and good flavors in both. I would recommend if you are in the area and looking for a sweet/caffeine fix and reasonably priced! Buon appetito.

Wonderful little café/coffee shop/dessert place. The coffees, especially the affogatto, are delicious. The pastries are not especially wowing but still very good. The pizza is a bit of an unexpected treat; it’s definitely not thin or crispy but the bready slices are hearty and very nicely flavored. But the real reason it shines, of course, is because of the gelato. The flavors are diverse, the prices are reasonable, and they are downright delicious. The strawberry is the only strawberry-flavored gelato I’ve ever tasted that actually tastes fresh and bright and balanced, just like a real strawberry. The flavors are all bright and deep and just about perfect. I hate to rave like an ad, but seriously, this place really deserves it.

I stumbled on this place solely because of its fantastic Unilocal reviews and we were not disappointed! After having lunch with my parents who were visiting in town we decided we wanted to get coffee or expresso and found this place! To our surprise they have amazingly delicious gelato as well! And Sicilian gelato to be exact which thrilled my Sicilian husband lol! Creamy and delicious! My husband and I enjoyed absolutely wonderful espressos well my parents enjoyed cappuccino!

Coming to this place was delightful. As a newbie to the area, I was in search of something to take care of my sweet tooth. This place delivered. I tried about 6 or 7 gelato(Italian ice cream) and all of the flavors were wonderful. Brought back memories of my previous trips to Italy. Please visit this place as it will surprise you. I had the pleasure of meeting Paolo(owner). He is a cute man from Sicily and makes everything fresh. Can’t wait to come back!

Came here to have gelato with a friend! Which is hard to find in Yonkers. I had a nice chocolate and vanilla; with Nutella. Yummy! The customer service was nice. I also bought a tiramisu that I eat later and it was delicious. I would go back there!

I was here with my family 2x and we got the large to go containers both times. My family are big gelato eaters. I went here a 3rd time and was ready to write a good review. But then we were told that we can’t eat inside the store unless we have a cup or a cone. THEENTIRESTOREWASEMPTY!!! The gelato is good but I can’t support a place that has such horrible customer service. Especially coming from the owner. The thought of my hard earned money going to someone who won’t let a customer sit in their store after spending $ 40 on gelato is infuriating. We actually just moved into the area. It’s comical that someone would be so willing to lose so much business over something so asinine.

The best gelato I’ve had and I’ve studied abroad in Italy and Spain. Must get the creamanello it’s delicious and sells out early Update: Although the gelato is delicious, I have to update my review. We used them for an event and the owner gave us a price per person and the price for him to scoop the gelato at the event. He seemed like a nice guy, but when it came time to pay, he claimed there were more people at the event than there was. He was quite rude about it. Luckily, we had written the numbers down when we met with him earlier and we were correct. We will not be using their services again. It’s a shame because the gelato was very good!

Pane & Gelato is a no-frills Italian café serving up a wide assortment of gelato, pastries, and cakes; they also have a selection of coffees, savory items, and Italian groceries. The décor is bright and casual with touches of Italian memorabilia on the walls — this place is the real deal in every sense of the word. Eastchester has a substantial Italian and Italian-American population which makes up a good portion of this café’s clientele. The staff was friendly and eager to help. The times I’ve been here I’ve only had their gelato, and for me that’s really the crown jewel of Pane & Gelato’s offerings. The gelato itself is full of flavor and the perfect consistency. My favorite has to be the chocolate Baci, it tastes just like the candy — delicious. The pistachio is also good, as is the stracciatella. One flavor I haven’t sampled is the puffo/smurf, it’s a little too wild(and a little too blue) for my liking — maybe someday when I’m feeling more adventurous. Casual atmosphere, solid Italian gelato, friendly staff — definitely a place worth returning.

Excellent gelato. So much better than what I’ve previously had in the city(including Eataly). Their pistachio, nutella, and nocciola(hazelnut) are my favorites. So creamy and delicious with the right texture and right amount of sweetness. Their pastries are also excellent, especially their sfogliatelle(something hard to find in Westchester). An excellent place for dessert run by a friendly and warm staff.

Extremely welcoming and friendly family staff! There are many flavors of gelato to choose from and also a selection of Italian pastries(We grabbed some macaroons, brutti, and a other names I forget at the moment lol). Reasonably priced as well.

The kind of place you would expect to stumble upon in Little Italy. Nice décor in a comfortable café setting. The cartoccio is very good and the cappuccino is perfect. The prices are a bit high otherwise we would come here regularly for pastries.

Stopped in this little eatery after I walked out of another restaurant for a hostess being incredibly rude to us. I had never been here, but my date lives close and has been many times. She loves the place, so I figured I would too. Driving by, I always thought it was an ice cream shop. Little did I know they serve all sorts of sandwiches, dessert, pastries, gelato and other little goodies. It was getting late, we were hungry, so I ordered the grilled chicken wedge and my date ordered an eggplant type of wedge. Nothing fancy about these, but they hit the spot. Again, first time there for me, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. After eating, we ordered a couple pastries to go. The young man behind the counter said hold on. He went in the back and came out to tell me that the owner was making fresh cream puffs(What I asked for) and would make me a fresh one! I didn’t mind a cold one, but he insisted I get a fresh one. Sure! We had one of those and a nuttella tart. Both were very nice. This place you could come to a bunch of times to try something new. If I had one complaint, its that its a little pricey. Hard to blame them because their eatery is in Eastchester and I’m sure they pay a ton in rent! If you’re in Eastchester, stop in, grab a pasty, a coffee and relax. If you’re hungry, order some food, or sit down and have some gelato(Which looked really good by the way). I’ll have to try that sometime. Seems like a nice place to come hang out with some friends.

When you walk in you are greeted by the owner and staff. It immediately puts you at ease. As I sit here sipping my second cappuccino and finishing up my nutella chart I had to write this review. I think the secret is out though. it was a bit crowded. Nonetheless the service and pastries were bar none. I could sit here for hours and never be rushed to leave. I love this place.

We were hunting for a nice coffee shop in eastchester and came across this place. When we got there, we were thrilled that they had free parking. They had a great selection of gelatos and a decent selection of small pastries. We both had cappuccinos, a chocolate/almond biscotti and one rice ball. The cappuccino was so pretty that we felt bad screwing them up with the sugar. The biscotti was delicious and tasted home made. The rice ball… Didn’t have very high expectations for it, but it was decent. The damage was less than 13 including a 20 percent tip! They’re open till 11PM! AWESOME!!! This will become a new regular spot for us. Thanks :).

I live in northern Virginia, where there are not as many mom-and-pop Italian cafes. Mostly starbucks and au bon pain. Going back home to NY, I love going to cafes and delis to get my weekend’s worth of great food in. This place has amazing gelato, desserts, and coffee! Family-owned and friendly staff. Love going here to meet up with old friends and drink tasty cappuccino! One recommendation is that they turn off the news and put on some nice music to go along with a café environment! Been here several times and always look forward to going back!
