Today they redeemed themselves. Their deviled eggs are a hit! Fried mushroom bites are delish. And these steak quesadillas are amazing. Or maybe it was because I was drunk either way good redemption

Very disappointed; I was looking forward to going to the Empire Casino and going to Dan Rooneys for dinner and drinks. When I arrived I was told there was a 30 minute wait and they would text me when the table was ready sounded like a good plan but didn’t get my text until 1 hour later. so strike 1… Then ordered dinner fish & chips, which I have ordered in many Irish pubs, wow… a basket comes out with battered fish that seemed to have been cooked from frozen on top of extremely soggy fries. The person I was with ordered a burger and it didn’t look pleasant, and decided like a frozen patty. The only the saved the night is the $ 2.50 budlights. I would probably go back for beer but never again will I have food there. They should be ashamed to serve this to anyone.

The bar is ok. Service blows big time. Servers disappear for at least 30 minutes. Don’t sit down to eat.

Hmmmm. This place is has it all cosmetically, but substance is another story. Located inside the Yonkers raceway casino, it seems to be the main bar restaurant in the casino. The place looks great, nice bar, spacious, oo and oddly has Pittsburgh Steelers flags everywhere… maybe due to the fact the owner is Dan Rooney part of the Rooney family(own the steelers). Anyhow on to the food. I don’t know where to begin but not one dish that I have tried here from the appetizers to the entrees was appreciated by my palate. The quality and flavor and just poor. Portions were pretty decent, but factor in the price and it seems like a bad deal. The Desserts were appreciated by my buddies, sized well and shockingly good! Service was pretty good here, the manager was kind. For my Unilocal checkin they gave me a free shirt. No complaints on that here. I’m giving it 3 stars for it not being a bad sports bar, it has a unique look and enough TVs to catch all the games you wanna see. Would I come back here??? Yeah, cause its the only option and when your tipsy that quality stuff doesn’t matter as much. Enjoy the pics and videos

If you ever want to witness the worst spinach artichoke dip of your life this is the place for you. Not only does the staff act completely overwhelmed when the restaurant is 7.5 percent full but butt they aren’t even friendly. Our spinach dip was a frozen creamed spinach… And it was so sad… Chips were also stale as hell. Buffalo wings were good tho. I’m just so mentally scarred from that spinach catastrophe.

This was my first & last time there. First of all we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated because we had a large party(9 people), yet when you looked inside the place was fairly empty so I’m not sure what the wait was about. Then it took a while to get our order taken, and even worse was the wait for the food! What made matters worse was that a lot of mistakes were made and the waitress kept making excuses and was lying about what was taking so long. Some of the orders were warm & some were just plain cold! Appetizers were brought out with the entrée & one of the orders were totally forgotten about! The food was barely edible, the only reason I ate my shoe leather burger was because I was so hungry. One of us ordered the French fries with his burger & they were all stuck together, which leads me to believe that they just plopped a bunch of frozen fries in the deep fryer without ever trying to separate them. But the main reason I gave this place only 1 star is because of the attitude of the waitress. She was a bit rude, never apologetic about the incorrect orders & the totally forgotten order, it was as if she was blaming us for her errors. And according to the waitress the manager was aware of our situation, yet he/she never came out to apologize either. To me that is very poor customer service! Don’t waste your money!

the food was great but the bar was a little messy. I would definitely go there again. The vibe was very welcoming as well…

Decent food, beer, and sports bar but overall service is slow and inattentive. Rotisserie chicken entrée was a solid choice. Sides are extra but the carrots were a good option as they are seasoned great and onion rings were large and battered well but not greasy at all. Also, we ordered a whole chicken which was more than enough for two people. Overall I felt the prices were fair and the food was actually pretty decent and a little better than I expected for a sports bar in a casino. OK enough beer list, and they have a few of their own house brews on tap. Plenty of flat screens around and a great sound system to watch all the games. Décor is basic sports bar but this one is more of a Steelers house since it’s owned by the NFL’s Rooney family. Still, the night we were here they had the Knicks, Mets, and some other NHL games on. Would have been a much better experience but the service was almost laughable. Our guy was nice enough but it seemed to take forever to get our food, silverware, water, etc. Every time we needed something there was a long wait. It seemed as if this meal took forever to get through, and even paying was a slow process. Either they need more staff here or better training, or both. Still, not a bad spot to grab a beer and bite if you’re a sports fan and visiting the casino here. Just be prepared to spend a while if the service is always this slow. We had about a 20 minute wait to get a table and they text you when one is available. Oh, and the nachos looked pretty damn good here, along with the burgers that couples around us were devouring.

I just want to thank the manager for reprimanding me like I was a child. A situation happened a few weeks ago, yes I was wrong and did apologize to the party involved. What I said was totally uncalled for and regret to this day. This afternoon I called the manager over and OMG, like I was taken to the principals office. Things that were said to me were totally uncalled and in front of other customers and the wait staff. Very unprofessional! It’s so many things that I’m embarrassed to mention not even what was said but in the tone of the reprimand. Who needs to apologize now!

Came here on a Sunday night — the restaurant was pretty quiet but service was extremely inattentive and a few people working were just rude. I get that you wouldn’t go to Yonkers Raceway for a memorable meal, but some of the food was inedible — especially the quesadilla and wings, which are hard to mess up. I did have hope for the place, since they participated in the Westchester Wine & Food Week, but I would definitely not go back.

Look it’s a sports pub. Anything goes wrong they are quick to correct the situation. Not perfect, I could bitch about minor things but let me be real. I hate sports pubs and I dig Dan Rooneys. Burgers, ribs, Chicken n Waffles. Chicago Blackhawks on no less then 3 channels. Most sports pubs snub Hockey.

Ate here with my family tonight for Father’s Day. We started out with nachos which were pretty good and wings. When we told our waitress that we wanted the wings mild, she told us even mild is very spicy, so we had the sauce on the side. I had the grilled cheese with bacon and French fries. This may seem childish, but my mother, sister and I looked at each other and nodded in agreement — the fries were delicious! The grilled cheese had a ton of bacon on it and was burnt so unfortunately the sandwich overall wasn’t that great. At least we know the fries are!

I gave this place a 1 star because Unilocal made me. The service was absolutely horrible. The waiters were rude and should not be in customer service. The wait time was outrages. When we asked what was the delay the waitress was rude and did not come back to give us an update. They brought out our order completely wrong. 1 of my peers ordered an 18 $ salmon with carrots and it came with no carrots just fries. The salmon was raw and inedible. I will never come back to this establishment. The manager tried very hard to help with taking the salmon off the check but the service was still horrible.

Only come if you have a coupon. The food is average«bar food» quality. The burgers and chicken are fine. The mac & cheese, nachos, the wings, sliders are all pretty good. Don’t order anything else — the steak is terrible, the salmon poor, the fish & chips too greasy, and salads are mostly day old iceberg lettuce.

Great dinner tonight! Wonderful corned beef and cabbage. The only strange thing was the blonde female hostess – she was super b*tchy and odd. Then I realized she was high on drugs or something… her eyes were all glossy… no wonder she never even spoke to us… shocked nobody at the restaurant noticed.

First time here. Decided to try the sports platter and soft pretzels. The pretzels were warm soft and tasty. The platter I hate to report was very tasteless. The poppers had no taste that we could not even decide what kind of popper it was. The wings we both felt was very bland. The sliders were ok. Since they gave me a 40 dollars I coupon so no lost. I will be back. Because I know this place can not survive putting food out as this platter tasted. So I know there is better to come. The waitress was ok. Not as attentive as one would have liked. But being in a booth with my Gorgeous wife and a tv with the football game on. That makes up for the lack of customer attention.

Firstly– sat at table in what felt like the middle of narnia when better tables were ready. Eventually a waitress came to our table, no ‘hi welcome to Dan rooneys etc’ just ‘are you ready to order. We ordered 2 drinks a starter and main course. Starter came out before the drinks, and there’s was a long wait for the starter so no excuse on taking so long with the drinks, it was just to bottles of beer. Then, the nachos… like something from a movie theatre… the cheese was like mayo and the ground beef was dry and days old. not worth it. Then I was about half way through my beer I though I better order one now, I might have it before my main course arrives… I manage to flag down my server after about 10mins and a number of waves at the manager, I ask for another beer. And then I look around and she’s taken my half drank beer with her? And them brings me a new beer? I would have liked to finish the first one! I ordered the burger, med, it was well done, rock hard on the outside, dry on the inside, and the cheese wasn’t melted. My boyfriend had a roast beef and cheese sandwich, he took 2 bites from it and left it’s the server came and picked it up, dropped our check… firstly, didnt think to ask if there was something wrong with the sandwich, then left a check, and I wasn’t even half eat through my main course? Check came to almost $ 60 and for what? 2.5 beers. Movie nachos, and bad sandwich, and a dry burger… left a $ 3 dollar tip and a note to check Unilocal for my review. Management need to get it together… Sanding around chatting doesn’t cut it in my book and I work in the industry. In general food options in the casino aren’t the best. Eat before you get here!

If you have the coupon, get the steak. If you don’t, get the turkey club. Service inconsistent. Could be quicker. Burgers aren’t cooked cooler than medium. Not a bad place to watch games, though.
