I came to the salon after trying to find a local place with open appointments on Christmas Eve. I was initially impressed with their website and the online appointment process with confirmation emails and texts. They have a cancellation policy in which you had to give your credit card information which I took was a sign that this was a quality place.
I arrived on time with such warmth and friendly faces and was brought up right away to their spa level; up a flight of stairs. They have a nice relaxation room and I was offered tea or water. After meeting my manicurist, Anne, she brought me into the nail room. There was only one chair for manicures and one pedicure chair– just a simple chair. She left me to get the ‘bath’ and came back carrying this big tub filled with water for the pedicure. We had a nice conversation flowing and developed a friendly relationship. I felt like I was having my cousins do my nails. Long story short; the water got lurk warm and cold towards the end and throughout my pedicure she kept pausing to show me pictures on her phone.
Just as I was about to transfer to the manicure table, a second manicurist came in saying she had an appointment. There was only one chair for manicures, so they were going to put me into the kitchen to get my nails done. Say what?! Wasn’t I here first? The other girl ended up not showing, so they allowed me to use the real chair for manicures. I was unimpressed with their selection of polish for a gel manicure. My top choice they did not even have available that morning, so I went with another choice. As I was getting my nails done, I felt like it was a decent manicure, she cleaned up my cuticles, and did the typical base coat, double coat, topcoat. The gel light machine looks like something I could’ve purchased at CVS and had done myself.
As I got up to leave, the woman try to sell me on a product to remove the gel at home. She then also proceeded to tell me I really need my eyebrows waxed and that she could do them for me that day without an appointment. I was offended, and told her no thank you and she proceeded to tell me they would look so great cleaned up for the holidays.
I paid a whopping $ 80 for both manicure and pedicure together (gel manicure and just your basic pedicure with no bells or whistles) and left a very generous tip, as it was Christmas eve. When I got to my car I was shocked at how my nails turned out, there was polish all over my cuticles, making it easy for a gel to peel off on the skin. The leftover nail polish was not cleaned up at all, I went about my day thinking maybe throughout the week it will clean itself up. Now two days later, my nails still look like a homemade manicure, and one of my fingers has even chipped already! Ridiculous for the price I paid, whether it was a regular manicure or and even worst that it was a gel.
One of the main reasons why I chose this place was because it’s great reviews on Unilocal.Reading further into the reviews, I see that Pure Eco salon is better known for their haircuts, styles, and coloring. I will keep that in mind if I ever need a new hair salon, but I will never return here to get my nails done again.
UPDATE: After reading my review, the owner, Susan, has reached out to me via voicemail and email and has apologized for my experience, had explains the salon’s philosophy, and has offered me free services to make up for my last visit. Although I respectfully declined her offer, I have changed my rating from 1 star (‘Eek, me thinks not’) to 2 stars (‘Meh, I’ve had better’– as simply stated by Unilocal). I appreciate her efforts, but I feel my review is honest, and unbiased; as I have reviewed over 100 restaurants and business on Unilocal and rarely give anything less than 3 stars. As mentioned before, if I am ever in need of a new hair dresser, I would not hesitate booking an appointment at Pure. Their hair salon has nothing but flawless reviews.

This is only a review for a manicure. The atmosphere is very calming. The people who work there are very nice. Unfortunately, my manicure was not what I would hope for. My nails were filed unevenly. Some of the nail polish is on my fingers — I asked her to fix it and she tried but I still had to go home and try to fix it. Also my nails are uneven with the polish (they put this clear top on but she did not put it on evenly on all my nails). Based on this experience I won’t be back.

As soon as you walk into this salon, you will be overwhelmed with a sense of caring and love; I have never experienced anything like it. Kara is my hairstylist, and she is just amazing… I have never left the salon without being extremely happy with my style, and her coloring skills are tops. She offers suggestions for new styles if you’d like, and works magic with them. Today I went in to have a rather unruly wig styled, and she worked magic with it. She can do it all !
I also had a makeup application done today by Susan… how I wish she I had lived here for my children’s weddings. She gave me such a natural yet glowing look, I am thrilled. Also had my eyebrows tinted, wow what a difference.
As sit having my hair styled on each occasion, I am so impressed with the surrounding talent, and the happy staff who listen to their clients 100% and really work hard to achieve exactly what their clients want.
I have been getting my hair done a LONG time, and Pure Eco Wellness Salon is so far above any other experience I have ever had in every way.

I went to Pure for a haircut for the first time. I have friends who had recommended it. Natasha was my stylist and she did an excellent job. I loved the scalp massage as she washed my hair and she paid close attention to detail in getting my cut exactly as I wanted it. The atmosphere and all of the staff were welcoming and I would recommend this salon to anyone.

Terrible customer service displayed by the owner! Rating the customer service displayed by owner now. Her idea of quality customer service is snippy and unsympathetic. She perceived my excitement to schedule another service as something other than that and as a result, stated that she believes I’m not a «right fit» with Pure. Very snobbish comment in my opinion. I believe they shouldn’t offer Groupons if they are going to look down on those customers that utilize the offer.
Natasha, this review has absolutely nothing to do with you and I hope you upgrade salons soon so I can come see you again. I loved how you did my hair.

I bought a Groupon for a partial highlight, wash, cut and scalp massage. I have naturally curly hair and Kara (who also has curly hair) took such good care of me! I was getting highlights for my wedding and she did such a fantastic job, explaining everything she was doing and why she was doing it. My color came out exactly as I envisioned. Everyone at Pure Eco-​Wellness is so friendly, welcoming and hospitable.
I will definitely be back in the future for haircuts and color!

I purchased the Groupon deal for a haircut and have been coming back for my haircuts ever since. Kara is a talented stylist who understands my hair!

I used to travel an hour to see a colorist back home. After a vicious snow storm, I figured I would give a local salon an opportunity to do my hair. Not only is the salon itself warm and welcoming, the staff is super friendly! Right away I felt comfortable and didn’t think twice about my appointment. Sarah is beyond AMAZING at color. I constantly have women ask me if go into NYC to get my hair done (PA stylists do it better!). I have referred my entire family to her and now they travel over an hour to see her! She’s great! I’d give this 6 stars if I could.

I love love this place. the staff is super friendly. The salon is clean and welcoming. they only use all natural products. I have been there a few times. Have done Keratin treatments and Susan is the best for waxing eyebrows!
I have really curly hair and I don’t any other hairstylist. they really know what they are doing here. Highly recommend!

I had a nice experience here. All the ladies were very nice, and no ounce of pretentiousness like you might receive from other salons. It’s a very cute spot.
Natasha was my stylist. She was very sweet, and listened to the style I wanted. She did great mix of layers, took out some heaviness from my very thick hair, and did a very soothing rosemary scalp (part of a groupon I had). The cut was perfect.
It took about an hour to come, settle in, explain the cut, get the shampoo and scalp massage (which only lasted two minutes), cut and blow dry.
Definitely recommend it.

I didn’t need something complicated, just to cut about 2 inches of split ends. Found a Groupon deal for this place and chose it because it included rosemary scalp massage.
1) The place is very cute and clean. Stuff is polite, they offered me water/​coffee couple times while I was filling out the form. Everything was on time.
2) My stylist Natasha washed my head, applied conditioner with very delicious smell and then made very relaxing massage for my head. She also blow dried my hair after hair cut, I was completely happy with everything she did.
3) They work only with natural components that supposed to be good for hair.

Do yourself a favor, and see Sarah Taylor! She has cut my hair a few times, and each time has been amazing. I’ve never been happier with a haircut! The salon itself is super cute with plenty of parking in the back. I am definitely going to be a regular.

Got my hair done today using a Groupon with Sarah. Great consultation. She really understood what I was trying to do. I added to the groupon and got some low lights at a reasonable price. Products smelled amazing. Scalp massage was wonderful. Haircut and color came out great! Already made another appointment!

Pure definitely exceeded my expectations. I bought a groupon deal for $ 33 that included cut, style, and rosemary scalp massage. Quite frankly, I wasn’t super excited to go there but I needed I haircut badly. I am so happy I gave it a try. The salon is really cute and there was plenty of parking place, which is a big plus for me since I’m horrible at parallel parking! My stylist was Natasha. She was friendly and professional. I love my new cut and I’ve already set an appointment to get highlights in two weeks.

I flew home in January for a much needed get-​away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Los Angeles. It felt good to be back, visiting family and friends, but I needed a day for myself to unwind and recharge. I work in the restaurant business, so I am constantly on my feet in an extremely busy and noisy atmosphere. I had heard about this spa from a good friend of mine and I checked it out online. All of the reviews were markedly positive, so I made my appointment. I chose Reflexology because not only did my feet need attention, but so did my stressed out body. I met with Denise, and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. She explained to me what Reflexology was and what it will do for me. After it was done, I felt 100% better. I am so happy that I was recommended to this spa, that I will definitely make another appointment with Denise the next time I’m in town.

Pure is the epitome of what every spa and salon should aspire to be. Whenever my girlfriend and I are in the Yardley area, I make sure to schedule an appointment with Denise to get a massage and she schedules a facial. Every member of the staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and makes us feel welcome from the second we step foot in the door. I really appreciate the fact that every product they use is natural and organic and the environment is super relaxing and peaceful. Denise is fantastic and I can’t find a masseuse half as good anywhere.
If you are ever in the area, do yourself a favor and book an appointment. Whatever service you’re looking for, they’re amazing at it all! You will not be let down and when you’re done, take a walk around the quaint, downtown Yardley or New Hope and treat yourself to a nice meal.

Came here about 7 months ago with my girlfriend, we both got massages. Very relaxing and my masseuse was very accommodating to my needs. Would recommend and look forward to returning in the near future. Felt like a newborn baby when I walked out

Let me just start by saying this was the worst manicure and spa experience I have ever had!
From the time I walked in to the time I left, they did nothing but try to sell me on expensive products, that I did not need. I had an appointment for a manicure, when I arrived I had to wait 10 minutes after the time which my appointment was scheduled for. The woman who did my nails never introduced herself, so I still have no idea what her name is. She kept trying to sell me on the gel manicure, when all I came in for was a basic manicure for my engagement photos. They only had about 10 colors to choose from, all the colors seemed to be old and thick. She was very rough on my hands and made my cuticles bleed! She kept saying how wonderful of a job she does, I find that extremely hard to believe! I told her several times to be less rough, but she ignored me.
I left with my cuticles bleeding and the color was barely visible as she only did one coat and no top coat. This was not worth the money they charge for the service at all, I should have just done it myself, but being that I was having my engagement photos taken the next day, I wanted my nails to look great. I had the manicure on Saturday at 1:30, it is now Monday morning and most of my nails are without polish, as the color peeled off in one piece. I would not recommend this place to anyone! They were extremely rude and the manicure was horrific.
I will never go back here again! I wish I could get my money back!
