We’re in town for a few days and needed something to eat on s Friday night. We had fish and chips, with onion rings, deep fried zucchini and slaw. All of the fried food was tasty and not too greasy. The slaw was the best I’ve ever tasted. The horseradish, in the slaw, was amazing.

Way better than expected. Friday/lent, and in Yakima. This is a hole in the wall place. Tiny, 6 small tables. Door was broken and covered in plywood. Nothing to inspire confidence. No bathroom. Son and I each got 2pc fish & chips. Came with drink(which wasn’t clear from menu). Fish was cooked perfectly. Nice batter, not soggy. Fries were perfect as well. Hostess(owner?) warned that there was some horseradish in the Cole slaw — it was really good. Fish was good sized. Plenty of fries.

I come for the clam chowder about once a week, and it always hits the spot. Last week I had a very tasty burger here that was the right size and price for lunch. I have had their fish and chips as well, but I need to lose some weight so I will likely only be coming for the Chowda! Peter, his wife and kids are a wonderful Korean family so please support their business, by dropping in for great food at fair prices. .Tell them I sent you! Peace.

I’ve been going to both Miners, and majors before finding out about this lovely place, and while their burgers are alright there not as nearly as fresh as Ahoy’s burgers, their the right size and all the condiments are fresh and are extremely tasty along with their French fries! Their fish and chips are to die for! Ahoy fish n chips is now my go to place for burgers and fish!

My husband and I ate there a while back… We really love seafood… I would never go back… the seafood tasted like the fryer grease hadn’t been changed in years. I couldn’t identify what each peice was supposed to be… yuck…the chowder was cold
