Nice ambiance, good food. Everyone loves the bread. It is very crusty in a good way. They also serve a foccacia type bread with tomatoes and garlic on it. They have a very big menu with lots of choices. No one complained about what they chose. The only so-so thing was the calamari fritti. I have had much better. It was a little soggy and they served it with cocktail sauce instead of marinara. The staff was great and the owner came around and shook everyone’s hand. It’s a little pricey but there really aren’t a lot of places that actually serve good Italian food.

Husband and I had a night away from the kids and we were staying in the Foxboro area. I made reservations at Luciano’s based on the great reviews, and we were not disappointed!!! The restaurant is beautiful, the waitstaff was great and the food was absolutely delicious!!! We will definitely come back another time! Best Italian meal we’ve ever had!

Amazing food! It took me 15 minutes to sign up to this app and create an account but the food tonight was worth it! Happy Valentine’s Day to me. They don’t have chicken fra Diablo on their menu and I haven’t been able to find a restaurant that makes it but the server said we make anything here you want and you’ll love it and I sure did. Thank you. It reminded me of Sicily. Hands down.

I was in Massachusetts recently visiting family and had the opportunity to eat at Luciano’s. The Hostess and all the wait staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent! The portions were large – so I suggest sharing. There were four of us and everyone ordered something different. Everyone was very happy with their meals. I would highly recommend Luciano’s if you are in the area.(They are located down the street from Gillette Stadium)

Came here on a Friday night for a birthday celebration. Had heard about this place for some time now so was excited to try it out. It was cold but luckily we changed plans for Friday instead of our initial Saturday, which was forecasted for lovely snowy weather! We got there for a 6:30 reservation, and was kindly ushered to our table and we were also informed that the birthday guest would get a complimentary serving of tiramasu — very nice! Maybe everytime I visit, I’ll just pretend it’s my birthday? The atmosphere(I’m guessing for dinner only) is very dim — the only con is I wasn’t able to really get a full viewing of paintings and décor due to the lighting — but I’m sure this is to create a more intimate setting, oh my… We were served complimentary warm focaccia top with tomatoes — soft on the inside, crispy on the outside and warm saltiness on my tongue! The bread basket was good as well — served with an olive oil concoction of seasonings. We each got a salad with our meals as well — the house dressing was amazeballs, if they bottled it, I would buy it! There was 6 of us, so there was an array of dishes. We started with the calamari and the vongole casino(littlenecks with bacon). For entrees, I had the Pollo Rossini. Among others were the Pollo Alla Scarpariello, Fusilloni Arrabiata, Pork Chops and Gamberi, Aragosta e Scallop Casseruola. All in all, we all enjoyed our dishes — although I felt some dishes were overpriced for the portion, particularly the seafood. My chicken was cooked well but the marinara on the cappellini needed a little more flavor. The complimentary tiramasu was just ok… I’ve had much better elsewhere. Others had the fudge torte and ripiena(sorbet) and said they were good. Our server was very attentive and friendly as was the entire staff. The owner came by at one point to say hello and shared a few laughs with us. I wouldn’t make a special trip just to eat here as there are so many good Italian places that are closer, but I’d def like to visit again. Their website lists a nice little menu for Sunday brunch at very reasonable reduced prices including prime rib!

Parking was impossible. All four handicapped spaces were taken and two were occupied by vehicles without handicapped plates or placards. This was frustrating. We did find one sole parking space as someone was pulling out, but it was very narrow. All of the rear parking lot was roped off, so that wasn’t even an option. You are almost forced to use valet parking. We arrived at 6:55 pm for a 7 pm dinner reservation. We waited 10 – 15 min to be seated. The tables were squeezed too close together and some were in the middle of heavy foot traffic areas, like where we were seated, so one has to be very careful when getting up from their table so that you don’t hit other patrons walking by or a waiter with a tray full of food. The waiter actually had an attitude – he was impatient for us to move out of his way, but we were not responsible for the seating arrangements. It was very awkward. Likewise, waitstaff also kept bumping into us as they passed by or were working on adjacent tables. They are oblivious because they’re in such a rush and, therefore, don’t offer an apology either. One waitperson delivering bread to the table, just threw it down in passing, without even looking at us. The overcrowding and rush really takes away from the elegance of the restaurant. The staff seems less personable, and you feel like you are being put through the mill. The bread was good. The focaccia-style bread with tomatoes was good, but if you don’t eat it right away, while it is hot, it becomes hard. The rustic-style Italian bread is also good. The olive oil and spices for dipping was good, but too spicy for me. The salads were good – fresh and cold. I recommend getting dressing on the side as it was a little excessive. Our dinners were good, but not great. I would rate them a 7 out of 10, and expected better from this establishment. We had tiramisu for dessert and it was very good. The serving size was generous. The chocolate sauce added good flavor. There was a also subtle orange flavor which was unexpected but delicious. It definitely contained coffee and a liqueur, so it lived up to it’s tradition. Our waiter, Kevin, was just okay. He has a bit of an attitude. He isn’t exactly service-minded. He doesn’t kill himself to wait on you. He never asked us how our dinners were. He seemed annoyed when we asked for coffee after our meal. He never offered us refills either. On a few occasions, he was brusque and answered us without even making eye contact. This felt disrespectful. I think he is capable of much more, he just chooses not to extend himself, like he is bored. Accordingly, he got a tip in which we didn’t over-extend ourselves. The restrooms needed attention. In the ladies room, there was toilet paper and paper towels on the floor, and the counters were covered with water. My companion reported the same issues with the men’s room. On a busy night, the restrooms should be checked more frequently. Luciano, himself, was out tonight, but someone should be overseeing the operations more closely, especially on a Saturday night. On a positive note, the coatroom lady was a sweetheart. There was no one available at the double set of exterior doors, either upon arrival or when departing, to assist patrons with entering and exiting. This restaurant seems to be going downhill. They are sacrificing service for profit(i.e. squeezing in more tables, reducing waiter to table ratio, more impersonal waitstaff, and rushing patrons). We came out of our way(45 min) to have an upscale dinner, but found that it isn’t what this restaurant offers anymore. We won’t be back anytime soon, that’s for sure.

We went for lunch and ordered off the holiday menu. The server talked my in laws into ordering a special«caprese». The plate was covered with olive oil and they ended up taking it back. The server seemed offended by this. My starter was the New England clam chowder. It had only 2 – 3 pieces of potatoes and clams. It was overpowered by sage. I only ate half. I chose an appetizer as my lunch entrée which was $ 13.95. It was a stuffed artichoke with shrimp, crab and scallops, baked with cheese. I could barely eat it. It was all breading with micro-shrimps and less than a teaspoons’s worth of crab, which I think was imitation crab meat. There was no signs of scallops and the the cheese tasted like white American cheese. I didn’t want to complain in front of my in laws since they were treating. I broke it up into pieces and spread it around my plate. I really doubt I’ll return here again… there are better places to go and are less expensive as well.

My wife and I came here on Valentine’s Day 2013 which was our first visit. Happy to say it turned out pretty well. It was mostly how I imagined a place like this would be. We used valet. I made reservations for that night so of course we walked right in without any hassle. The food was fantastic and really knew their wine pairings. The only complaint that day was my waiter seemed aggravated. At first it bothered me but then I ignored him and enjoyed myself(the tip reflected his persona). Besides the service, I would have given this restaurant five stars.

LOVE this place! The atmosphere is low lite and very warm and comfortable. We had been at Wrentham for a holiday shopping day. We were both pretty hungry, I used my trusty Unilocal app to find the nearest 4 star restaurant. When we pulled up we could tell that it was more of a upscale place. They asked us if we had reservations(even though it wasn’t busy at the time.) of course we didn’t. We were seated at a comfy booth and greeted by a awesome waiter. He guided us through the menu with all his favorites and proceeded to tell us the specials. The menu is extensive so it was a big help with the insight he offered. Especially on the veal dishes. Before we ordered he brought us bread and oil and focaccia bread that they must be known for. It was delicious !!! I had the seafood pasta with a spicy sauce. It was perfect! The portions are huge so be prepared to take the rest home. I would definitely go back again.

Luciano’s — Wrentham, MA — 10/15/2015 Valet parking is always a big plus although there is a large parking lot easily accessible… If you have any issue with stairs, no worries… there is a ramp to the left of the staircase… It’s primarily a restaurant but they also host events… Inside… Nicely decorated with dark woods and brown print wall paper… Old photos purposely hung thru-out with etched glass windows on the walls separating the front entryway from the main dining area… Very friendly and knowledgeable server that recited most of the menu from memory… On the table… a flat bread with tomato, garlic and herbs… I sampled it and it wasn’t bad but didn’t want to fill up on breads before dinner… Fresh loaf of Italian bread served with seasoned olive oil… Fresh and delicious… Seafood Chowdah… Rich cream based with chunks of seafood… At my server’s suggestion the Burratta, tomato and prosciutto served with olive oil and a balsamic vinaigrette with hints of fresh basil … Very nicely plated… The prosciutto reminded me of what I have on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx… A known mecca for Italian food… For the main… my server suggested the Veal Chop with roasted potatoes, chunks of garlic, mushrooms, grilled asparagus and a sprig of Rosemary… Rich in flavour and beautiful to look at… Incredible! And for dessert… Bread Pudding with a scoop of vanilla Ice Cream… and my signature cappuccino… Perfectly made with just the right head and sprinkles of cinnamon… A work of art! This is a great place wether you’re a solo diner, couple or group… With extensive menu offerings, there is something for everyone… The owner, Luciano, personally comes around to the diners to make sure everyone is enjoying their meal… Highly recommended!

We had not been to Luciano’s in many years, but remembered it as being very good. Well that was then and this now. The waiter was inattentive… we were seated in the very last room and he seemed to have forgotten about us a few times. Our food was very disappointing. My $ 15. Shrimp cocktail consisted of 3 shrimp. Calamari was good, very tasty and well prepared, but I had a veal dish that was not presented well… just veal dumped over some very overcooked mushy pasta. My husband had the bolognse which was a large portion of nice pappardelle with a lack luster sauce. We drove over an hour to eat there and it was a waste of gasoline… not going back.

First time at Luciano’s, with a group of friends. Definitely, old school charm. It’s all about the customer service here. From the hostess to the person offering lemon for your water, everyone was there to make you feel special. I commented on the large vase full of gorgeous tomatoes that I was told came from a local farm. Our waiter, Kevin was funny, personable and knew the menu inside and out. We were greeted by Luciano himself during dinner. The food was typical Italian fare, but fresh and flavorful. The bread was delicious and warm. The porkchop special was fantastic! The ambiance was relatively quiet and romantic, a mood set by the lighting and the warm tone colors in the décor. I can see why there is usually a line out the door when you drive by. It’s worth the trip just to see what it’s like to go to a restaurant that makes it their goal to be sure you enjoyed your evening!

Three stars because of the atmosphere. The waiter was knowledgeable and sweet he kept taking our silverware. wth? The fish special was out and it was only 6:30. The ‘rice balls’ special and the vodka penne were tasteless. Beefsteak tomato appetizer could have been better… too much balsamic, smaller tomatoes were mushy… FIRSTTIME here… have always wanted to try since moving from Maryland two years ago. We’ll go back but only because I’m a sucker for those ½ moon booths in the bar. Owner is very nice and seemed to be everywhere which is as it should be. We did not complain… this time. Overheard the table next to us relay their unhappiness regarding their own issues with the need for more taste. Hmmmmmm… Oh. CANDLE smell was nice but there were too many of the ‘scented’ candles lit which might affect taste of the food?
