Don’t know where all these good reviews came from… Maybe I went on an off day but what disappointment… I got the falafel bowl. The falafels went over cooked, so bland and crunch as all hell. I even got extra and couldn’t finish them. No brown rice… and the hummus tasted funky… so many better Mediterranean places out there! Service was also very meh, place was completely empty and even then they really weren’t on top of things.

The falafel tasting weird. I was vomiting like crazy a few hours later. Thanks for the food poisoning hummus house. I used to love falafels but now I can’t even look at one.

My favorite cheap, quick. AND healthy place! With many options, you’re sure to find something to satisfy your cravings. Their pitas and salads always fill me up. My go-to is the Ceasar or the Greek! You can even add crushed pita chips to your pita or salad :) They have several choices of hummus flavors, but my personal favorite is their guacamole hummus. I can’t resist it! Their pita chips are crunchy and are perfectly seasoned. This is a great quick meal place! Better than pita pit! ;)

New year and trying to be healthier about my choices when eating out. I’m LOVING that this is in my neck of the woods. It’s great especially for those nights coming home from work when I don’t want to be a slave in my kitchen to have a decent, healthy meal. Still working on that«food prep» thing… As others have mentioned, the parking lot is weird. It’s connected to that GREEN bank(forgot the name) at the corner of 1792 and Minnesota. There are a few spots in the front with more parking in the back. Or you can park at Steak n Shake and walk over. Lucky for us, we came on a Sunday for lunch and were the first people to arrive. Meaning that all ingredients were fresh! It’s a little overwhelming and may be so especially if you come at a busy time but lucky for us, the friendly gal behind the counter explained their concept(«Like a chipotle»). You have the option of a pita, salad or rice bowl. And unlike their name, they have more than just hummus. This place is great for the meateaters and herbivores and you can load up with all sorts of veggie toppings and dressings/hummus. I went with a rice bowl and added some spinach(they have 3 different kinds of lettuce blends). I chose falafel as my protein(they also have chicken, andouille sausage, turkey, tuna etc.) and added an abundance of toppings like chickpeas, tomato, cucumber to name a few. I decided to get the dressing and hummus(lots of options for both) in side containers so I can add to my rice bowl sparingly so as not to overwhelm the flavors. We also ordered a side of hummus/chips and fried cauliflower to try. My rice bowl was fantastic and very filling. My husband enjoyed his gyro pita as well. We would probably skip the side items for next time because the main dishes were so hearty. Also, the fried cauliflower is more like blanched and not deep fried and was great with the chipotle aioli dipping sauce. Side note: If you like deals, you can sign up on the screen at the register with your email for emailed and texted deals. Overall consensus: Clean and inviting place to eat if you’re into clean eating– whether you’re into eating meat, veggies or both!

This a healthy option for a quick lunch in Winter Park. Lots of different salad dressings etc. Not sure why Unilocal has the address being in Orlando; this is definitely in Winter Park right next to First Green Bank’s WP branch.

Great healthy options! Got the gyro salad-liked the option to have spinach and greens instead of iceberg. Lots of hummus flavors. Poor signage-next to a bank but can’t see well from the road!

Great cheap place to get some food. I ordered a Falafel wrap and you get to pick all of your toppings, similar to Chipotle. They also had a variety of hummus available. I had the garlic, which was amazing. The portions are HUGE. I managed to wolf mine down but I could probably have split it in half and saved the rest. It was too good! I didn’t quite like the pita chips, though. I’m not sure if they are meant to be hard-crispy or if they were just burnt. It made eating them pretty annoying. Check this place out!

Stopped here for lunch today because the lot was empty compared to every other joint on Orlando Ave at noon. This is kind of like a Subway in the sense that you pick what you want on your pita/salad/rice bowl. Everything was super clean and staff were friendly. Fast service. They have a ton of different hummus flavors. I tried the guacamole hummus and it was good! I had he turkey cucumber salad with ranch dressing. The ingredients all seemed very fresh and I enjoyed a healthier lunch. I’ll definitely return to try more things!

First time in I had the Philly Cheese Steak rice bowl. It was so delicious and filling. I could only eat a third of it. I cannot wait to go back and try more. This place is full of options, it is going to be hard to tire of it.

Love this place! Kind of like a Mediterranean Chipotle; they offer a salad, bowl, or a pita and you choose your protein and toppings. I’ve had the regular chicken, buffalo chicken, and gyro lamb so far. All have been great. You get a dressing of your choice and a scoop of hummus. I love the garlic hummus! The dressings are good but I’ve found I don’t even need one since everything in my bowl is so delicious already! The fried cauliflower is an extra dollar but you have to get it! Yum! Everyone here is very friendly, and the line moves very fast if there is one. PS you can park in the back behind the bank(there are only three spots in front of Hummus House and they’re generally taken)!

Visited Hummus House in Winter Park this evening and was pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious, excellent service and nice, clean environment. Owner was great about explaining menu and how he started his concept. Chicken was deliciously seasoned and there were many options. Wishing Hummus House a smashing success. I live close and will be a regular.

Digging this place! The menu is kind of confusing but I managed to order a delicious salad with chicken, humus, cucumber, tomato, feta, chickpeas, and balsamic dressing. The chicken was seasoned great and the hummus was delicious! They also offer rice bowls and pitas. The parking lot is kind of weird. I ended up parking in the Steak n Shake lot but i think there might be more available behind the actual building. But overall, reasonably priced, & I think I’ll be hitting this place up for lunches often!

Fantastic! I could eat here once a week. I hope they never stop doing what they are doing. It’s like a Chipotle for Mediterranean lovers. They have six different types of amazing hummus; the salsa hummus is my favorite. Everything is made to order. You can choose from a salad, bowl, or pita sandwich. There are many different options for vegetarians and meat eaters. I love to make a big healthy salad with half grilled chicken, falafel, and all the fabulous vegetable choices topped off with feta and tahini sauce. The pita chip crumbles are also great. Love!

I love this place!!! They have a location by UCF and when I relocated to Maitland I was sad to be so far from it. Now they have a location in Winter Park and the food is still the same. So delicious!!! Anything you get is good and they have great selections. Fast service, clean establishment and yummy food. What more could you want!!! Great lunch spot!

Great fast Mediterranean food in a nice clean restaurant. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Had a veggie salad, which sounds boring, but they have lots of topping options like kalamata olives, tabbouleh salad, feta cheese, many different types of hummus, and more(see photo). It was delicious. Also had a side of falafel, which was not the best falafel I’ve had, but decent. Gf had a run pita, which was also very good. Definitely worth checking out the Hummus House.

I’ve only eaten here once but plan to become a weekly patron. The food is fresh and the staff is really friendly. They have great falafel pita. I’m a regular at pita pit in winter park but I’m going to be mixing in this place now also. Special thanks to Joseph who clearly cares about his customers and growing the business.

This place is great! It’s in a weird plaza right next to the bank but, food is great and customer service is a winner. Very helpful, I was asking a lot of questions about ingredients and the guy brought out their containers(his idea) and let me read labels with no issue. Salsa hummus is a little spicy but good! I got a falafel salad.

Came in for lunch this week with some friends. I’ve been to the UCF location but haven’t been there in a while since I moved downtown. Food is great and this location has rice bowls which are really good.
