Great spot for some Greek food by the lake. Definitely share the greek combo platter. Two portion definitely serves two people. Try anything else you like and you wont be disappointed.

Love, love, love this place! I get a Greek salad with pita bread and tzatziki sauce every time. They never skimp on the feta cheese! ;) Never left unsatisfied. Large portion sizes. Great atmosphere! You really do feel as if you’re in the Mediterranean. Highly recommended! I usually go after a lunch rush and before dinner. Opa!

4 stars for solid food, reasonable prices, and a lovely location. My husband and I met up here for lunch. We sat outside on the patio to take advantage of the great weather, and a waitress found us quickly. The tables are not top quality, and were kind of dirty, but I still enjoyed the patio. I was very pleased with the menu prices. Both of our meals were 9.99 each, and they give you a ton of food. I order the gyro with a greek side salad, and my husband ordered the San Rama chicken sandwich with fries as the side. The food took a little while to come out, so I don’t know that this place would work if you were in a huge rush. However, it was by no means an excessive wait. I appreciated how fresh everything seemed when the food came out. The gyro was really good, but they put way too much tzatziki on it. It was really excessive. The side salad was large and also very good. My husband’s sandwich was very fun, and we really enjoyed the eggplant. A great choice if you want something different. His also came with a very generous portion of fries as the side. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely return.

I love this spot! Great outdoor patio. Service by Jessie was awesome. This place has authentic Greek flavors. I always judge a Greek place on hummus and tzatziki and both were very tasty! I got the gyro platter and I received a massive amount of delicious food. Definitely a place to try.

Best little restaurant I’ve been to in Orlando so far! I’ve been here a few times, but forgot to put my review in. As mentioned, this place is very small, but does offer a great deliverance of service and food! The servers and staff here are very welcoming. I’ve never been disappointed. There are some tables outside if needed. The inside is very small and you will sit very close together. Now on with the food reviews. The first time here my friend ordered for us since she knew what was great. We had helpings of HOTMEZEPLATTER, GREEKSALAD, and I had the BRAISEDLAMB as my entrée. Everything tasted scrumptious! As my second visit, I ordered the MOUSSAKA. This entrée was like a Shepard’s pie, but Greek style. It was amazing, delicious, and very flavorful. I highly recommend ordering this entrée. Overall this place kept delivering the amazing meals to me. I have not been disappointed yet. This restaurant does look over Lake Ivanhoe at a certain angle. Reasonable prices, great food, great service, and great location. Stop in here for a nice meal sometime.

4 Stars for a great lunch spot with a Gyro Salad that is bound to hit the spot! Gotta love pulling up to this small Greek spot and looking over Lake Ivanhoe. It’s not Gargi’s– so don’t expect the best lake view from the seating area, but it ain’t too shabby! As you walk in you’ll notice it’s a tight squeeze. Get ready to sit very close to other people! It gets busy during lunch, but so far I have never had to wait for a table to open up(now that I’ve typed this, I’m doomed.). I’ve had both the Gyro and the Gyro Salad and they were both well-seasoned and fresh. As you’d imagine the salad is for days when a lighter lunch is needed, but don’t think that means it’s small. I’ve yet to finish the whole thing! It comes with feta, plenty of sauce, crisp lettuce, tomatoes, and olives(with pits). This is my go-to for a hearty salad. I recently ordered the grape leaves. Be sure to share this with a friend because it’s a mighty portion! Overall, pleasant spot with great service(shoutout to Gianni!), a perfect location, and solid Greek food.

Great little Greek place near Downtown Orlando. The food and service was very satisfying. I will definitely visit again. Highly recommended for anybody who enjoys American-Greek offerings.

Cute little Greek restaurant across from Lake Ivanhoe. We decided to give this a try because it was a nice day and we wanted to sit outside. They have a lovely patio. Service was excellent from start to finish. I had the chicken souvlaki which was good but the tzatziki sauce could have been a bit less watery(just a personal preference) but the chicken was cooked well. My lunch companion and I both had the Greek salad as our side and it was huge. He had the tomato chicken pesto sandwich — it was super delicious.

This is a great Greek spot in a great location! The food is very good. The dinner’s are a bit pricey($ 22+), but the portions are huge. Last night I split the Gyro Platter with my girlfriend and we ended up with leftovers. The stuffed grape leaves are also some of my favorites anywhere in town. The building isn’t super nice, clean, or fancy, but the outside patio makes for a nice spot with a view of Lake Ivanhoe and all the action on Orange Ave. The service has always been great, and the food comes out very quickly. There are lots of Greek spots in Orlando, but this ranks up with the best of them.

Nice little place. Had the Gyro Salad, which was pretty drano of for something so simple. The pita on the side is very very good — so light and fluffy. Service was efficient. I’ll definitely be back.

The continued saga of a Greek girl and her Athens-born mother who moved to the Orlando area from NYC/NJ and are on the hunt for the ever elusive good Greek restaurant down in the Sunshine State not in Tarpon Springs. After a decent Greek place closed in Dr Phillips, mom and I had to broaden our search. I found the Greek Corner on Unilocal so we decided to try it. While we thought it was ok, we weren’t wowed. Our favorite things we had were the spanakopita and the lemon potatoes. I ordered the pork souvlaki sandwich and it was just ok. The pita got too soggy from the over abundance of tzatziki and something was just off about it. I had to hunt down the pork pieces that were drowning in the sauce. Mom had the pasticio and it looked HORRIBLE when it came to the table. The bechemel was a weird brownish grey color and looked like it had been made a very long time ago and possibly microwaved. It tasted ok but I couldn’t get past the presentation. The Greek salad all the dishes came with was also just ok. Just didn’t seem fresh. Service was very friendly and my water was always filled without asking. I’d go back for a second taste, I understand some places have their off days. The hunt continues…

I was a long time fan of this restaurant since it first opened. Almost 2 years passed since my last visit so it was nice to be greeted and recognized by one of the best servers in town. That being said I’m not sure I’m in a hurry to go back. The pastitsio Greek specialty entrée I ordered came with a Greek salad that featured a feta cheese dressing which tasted homemade, creamy but light at the same time. However, with no pepperoncini and only a single olive garnish, to be truly praiseworthy it would have to feature more than that. The pastitsio was a baked glob of mushy noodles with barely enough beef or flavor to make it interesting. The thick layer of Bechamel on top was a gluey, floury mess. Definitely not worth the $ 15.95 price tag. My partner’s gyro sandwich on the other hand was a thick, soft pita stuffed full with mounds of gyro meat, onions, tomatoes and plenty of tzaziki sauce. Very tasty and filling and at under $ 12, a much better deal. The accompanying french fries were fairly ho-hum though. If you’re in the mood for a beer I’d steer clear of the overpriced Mythos, a Greek import which tastes pretty much the same as a Bud Light.

DELICIOUS Greek with super friendly service. Split an app sampler with a friend and they were more than gracious to accommodate food allergies. Also added a few sides on, and ROLLED out the door. It was soooo much and soooo good. Loved the hummus. From what I could tell, there was no indoor seating, which gave it a charming bistro feel with a beautiful view of the park… which also meant bugs and HEAT. Personally, I feel it was about $ 2-$ 3 over priced, which takes it out of my MUSTHAVE list, but its still there for special occasions or treats.

Went here for dinner; I must say I enjoyed it. I’ve driven past this restaurant many times when in the area. Went here with a friend after Drinking in The Hood. We were seated promptly by I do believe one of the owners. She was very pleasant and welcoming. We decided to sit outside, good choice. Its an older looking restaurant and looks well kept and clean. I had the gyro with salad. It was a good portion serving, more than I expected. The flavour of the gyro was delish! The salad was good as well; maybe a few more greens in the salad other than iceberg lettuce. The pricing was comparable. Great location. Plenty of parking. The atmosphere and service was good. Overall good experience I will definitely be back.

Where has this place been all my life? I stumbled upon this place when I was coming back from Drinking Around the Hood in the Ivanhoe Village area. I will start by saying that it is a nice small Greek restaurant facing Lake Ivanhoe. The décor is cute, simple and the ambiance is nice. The owners are from Greece so you already know that the food is authentic. The restaurant wasn’t really busy so we were able to pick our table, get the menus and order our drinks pretty fast. The menu: it offers a great selection foods from traditional Greek foods like Gyros and Dolmades to Amercian burgers. I usually always order Dolmades(spinach leaves) and a chicken souvlaki gyro but this time I wanted to try something different. I am not a big fan of lamb but I figured i would try the gyro sandwich which consists of a mixture of ground beef and lamb seasoned with mixed herbs, all this wrapped in grilled pita bread. Let me just say that the gyro was AMAZING. The spices they used, tzatziki sauce and the fresh tomatoes made it all very tasty. To top it off every sandwich comes with your choice of rice pilaf, Greek salad or french fries. I opted for the Greek salad which came with home made dressing. The portions are reasonable, the salad itself was pretty filling if I may say so myself. All in all, the food here is pretty good and affordable. The service was not bad either. I was told that on some days they have a live band and a belly dancer. If you are looking for Greek restaurant with great and tasty food, I encourage you to check out the Greek Corner. I am pretty sure you will like it.

Gyros that aren’t served out of a late night street-meat cart can be hard to find sometimes. I was happy to find this place thanks to Unilocal. Not amazing but it satisfies the occasional craving. The menu offers a mix of Gyro meals, samplers plates like the Hot Meze, and more traditional plated dishes like Lamb Kabobs. We usually go for the gyros since the craving for one is what brings us here. Unfortunately, the pita bread, fries, and Greek salad are just average. Pita is doughy but not warm, grilled, or otherwise seemingly prepared in house. Fries seem like any old fry from a food supply store. Thick cut and tasteless. The Greek salad is lacking quality and flavor featuring thick chunks of ice berg lettuce, kalamata olives with pits in them(so watch your teeth), a few feta chunks, but mostly lettuce. We’ve had better Greek salads at a deli. The view from the out front patio is nice with a little sliver of Lake Ivanhoe looking back at you. I think this is really why most people frequent here. We’ve come here on a rainy night and the place was pretty slow versus the usual patio crowd. In the hot summer months they have a large blue awning and fans that help keep the heat down. The best part – this place is locally owned by Jimmy & Tia who immigrated to the United States from Greece in 1988. In late 2005 they graced Orlando with their greatness and have never looked back. They are consistently ranked among the top.

What a great place to have dinner on the lake! The outside sitting area here is wonderful, with a great view over Lake Ivanhoe, and facing away from busy Orange Avenue. My brief walk through the the indoor area showed that it was small but also nicely decorated. The food here was pretty good. The salad entrees was plenty for a meal, but I found myself jealous of my friends who had ordered pita sandwiches. They looked delicious! I would definitely recommend ordering one(or two!) of the many pita appetizer options.

Went here a few weeks ago with my mom and aunt for lunch. My aunt had wanted to go before, but never got the chance, so we decided to go and it was worth the visit! The food was really good and the waitress was helpful and knowledgeable on the food. We chose to sit outside since the weather was nice, and the inside is kind of small. I got the Lamb Gyro with a Greek Salad. The lamb was delicious and full of flavor. Their taziki sauce was also really good, as well as the pita which was a soft and airy dough. Will have to come back another time to try some more things soon.

Let us start with the food. We always order a large Meze platter to share, we order it vegetarian and it is absolutely delicious. They grill veggies, add some fresh ones too, plus the staples: Grapeleaves, Spinach pie, Taramosalata, Roasted Eggplant salad, pita bread. Sometimes a few of the veggies change, yesterday we got roasted Eggplant instead of Zucchini and Squash which we have gotten in the past. I much prefer the Eggplant and it was so good. Seasoned to perfection. The food here is great, the prices good also. Sometimes there is live music and a belly dancer, Maria. It is a lot of fun, although the music is a tad too loud for my taste since it was hard to have conversation on date night. Their outdoor seating is also a highlight in my opinion. I love sitting out there on a nice Florida evening. Now here is where it gets 5 stars in my book: Ski. What is Ski? He is the reason the service gets the five stars. The first day we came to this restaurant he treated us immediately like family and took care of us as if we were his favorite people on earth. Since then we always make sure Ski takes care of us, and let me tell you, he treats everyone this way. Yes, I am jealous. I wish he were all mine, but alas, I must share him. However, I know he will always take care of me!
