Let me start off by saying two things to be fair: I am rough with phones. I know kiosks like this have worked for other people. That being said, I had a horrible experience with Mobile Matrix Repair. I came in with my iPhone 5s screen totally shattered, and this kiosk seemed like a economical option. They fixed my screen and everything seemed fine. The next day, my touch screen was not working properly. I would press buttons on my keyboard, and they would not press. Apps would open that I did not press. My backspace button did not work. All corners of my phone would not press sometimes. It was so annoying and everything seemed off. There is a warranty, so I planned on taking it back. Winston Salem is about an hour away from where I live so I had to wait for a day that worked for me. While I was waiting to go, I dropped my phone probably a foot and the screen cracked. Before this whole fiasco, I had dropped my phone plenty of times and it never ever cracked(I am talking just small drops, not big ones, but it was a small drop that caused my screen to crack after Mobile Matrix Repair). This voided my warranty, so now I am stuck with a crappy phone and will have to spend even more money to get a new one. It seems to me that their screens lack a lot of quality. So, it may work for you, but if you are like me, it will not. I would have had a better(although a little more expensive) experience at the Apple Store.

I was a bit skeptical that a replacement glass repair was possible with my phone. I let it go for a really long time… over a year and a half now. I thought that i would have to replace the entire LCD screen, digitizer and all, but that was not the case. I walked around the mall stopping at every cell phone repair stand that I saw and Matrix Mobile Repair was the cheapest and even recommened from the other vendors. I showed my phone to Adam, the guy that was ultimately repaired the phone, and he said that it would be fine. He was quite busy, with 2 or 3 people lined up behind me and gave me an estimated time of an hour. When I went to pick up the phone at the scheduled time, it wasn’t quite ready and he gave me another estimate of another 30 minutes. At the end of this time he was just finishing it up. Yes, it took a while, but he was very meticulous with it and it now works perfectly. I have no doubt that his craftsmanship will hold up well. Some other things they do is install custom colors onto iphones. It looks pretty cool. And they repair Ipads too. Also, like them on Facebook and he will give you $ 5 off the repair.
