I heard about this place and decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did! The food was really amazing! There was a great variety to choose from. I ordered the barg and it was fantastic. The service was really great and the staff was attentive. I highly recommend this establishment!

Went to this place since I was hungry and wow was this place good. I got Beef and Chicken Kabob but if you had to ask the Chicken was better than the beef. It did not take to long to make even when they were busy. The prices were good and the service was more than fine. I can not wait to go there back again and try the stew. Thanks!

Really like Malek the owner because his extremely friendly and wants to treat all his customers with integrity. Have come here a bunch of times with a group of guy friends and the lunch buffet is really worth it for the quality of the food your getting.

After passing by almost everyday, i decided to check out this lunch buffet. The deal is $ 10 for a persian buffet and let me tell you, it is the most bang for your buck. The variations of persian rice and kabob meats was great. There is also a salad bar and you’ll get a soda too. The place is family run so it helps them too.

Been driving past this place for awhile and always wanted to try it so today was the day. I will keep this short and piffy .The food was Luke-warm, taste was ok but not much of a selection for 9.99 so I probably won’t go back anytime soon.

Worst service I’ve ever had! The owner of the restaurant definitely does not value the customers I decided to try them out normally I order the food from another local Persian restaurant they’re a little more pricey but definitely much more friendly and I get better quality food. This place was a great deal the quantity was a lot but the quality was horrible including the service was horrible I’ll give you an example the owner did not want to repeat himself because he did«not have time» to do that, he told me once and kept referring to as «MYFRIEND» when I had questions regarding the pricing and how much food does it come in the order. When I got there to pick it up he did not want to answer my question he just kept saying the amount that I owe him after I give you my credit card to pay for the food after I had to insist to look at what I was paying for he decided to throw the credit card back on the counter to me No thank you no customer service I would never go back to this place again even if my life depended on it.. I can’t emphasize enough on how HORRIBLEHORRIBLE this restaurant is. believe me you will regret even setting a foot in there. There’s a couple of things that come to mind on the way he handled the whole experience is that either he is not used to the American culture as far as providing service to a paying customer or he just has this restaurant as a cover up or whatever he is doing behind the counter. Lesson learned

Great place to take your friends and family. It is nice and clean and the food is really really good. A must try, you won’t regret it. Service is friendly and assertive. Been going here for a while now and I wouldn’t change locations because they meet excellence in great food, friendly staff and affordable! Go and try for yourself !

First off the restaurant was not fit to be open to the public. There was a plumbing issues and hoses were weaved through. We ordered the to-go buffet since that was all they had, cost me $ 10.89. Even though it was the buffet option we weren’t allowed to fill up our togo container. The owner wouldn’t let us touch the container until it was already packaged in a bag. The owner fills up you togo box according to their own portions. It ended up being three pieces of chicken(about the size of an earrings box), one scoop white rice, one scoop of shirazi, and two kabob pieces. They also did not offer our free drink. We’re lucky we noticed it on the sign on the way out. The in house buffet is the same. As I have been here before, they do not let you serve yourself. They take and fill your plate like a child. If you want to go back for more food your told to reuse plates, which raises some concern over the cleanliness of the place. Overall a very uncomfortable experience whether you choose to eat there or take the food togo. The food is fine, but the service and the value is lacking.

I love love love this place the chicken is delish. For $ 10 I mean you can’t get any better than this and a drink is included. Everything is fresh and healthy. I come here all the time for lunch since it’s down the street from my job. The food is hot and ready for you. No wait time. Buffet style. I’ve catered for some work events and they are very professional and punctual. It’s owned by a very cute couple that appreciate their customers. I bring everybody here and they always come back.

OVERALL: BUFFETISWAYCHEAPERANDREALLYGOOD. HOURS11:30 — 3:30pm Been coming here for years, since I was 6years old. I’m 22years old now. So do the math. The food is really good, In in love with their rice. Something about it gives the chicken and steak a better taste. If you go around 11:30 — 3:30pm for the buffet its way cheaper and worth your money. I eat a lot so it’s worth it for me. But someone who doesn’t eat as much is still gonna save some money. Their regular pricing is a bit expensive but to be honest it’s still the same as the buffet.

Went to this place today, albeit«after» reading all the negative and the very few positive reviews here on Unilocal. All of them were partly true, the –ve ones in particular. The food is «not extremely bad» and thats all there to is say about quality. This is NOT an all you can eat buffet by any means even though its advertised widely in block letters as so. Poorly run management. Almost non existent customer service. For take out from the buffet«which they do allow», its one of the weirdest experiences ever. The lady at the counter, walks you to the buffet line and starts filling up the to go box and you are NOT allowed to pick your own food from the buffet line. When you ask for your preference of food she just stares obnoxiously at you and moves on filing up with super limited quantities of whats on the«so called buffet». She then quickly wraps up the box and walks you to the counter to payup. Having read the scam that these people pull on credit cards and overcharging(intentional or unintentional — both are disgusting by any measure), just paid cash and rushed out of this joint.

My team loves Persian food and one of my team members said we should get a office order from here since he lives nearby. So I said what the heck and ordered for 6 people. We got it family style so we got 1 tray filled with ground beef skewers, checked with bone and without and beef filet. We also got one of the same trays filled with rice. We got some salad and pita bread. I wish I asked for some plates and smaller plastic containers since we were all full and wanted to send off some worth the team. We were impressed — good food good price looking forward I it again soon.

Filet kebabs off the menu were very good. The buffet is an interesting value, but the meats were all made too far ahead — so they were dry and also lacking flavor.

I’ve come here in the past and for a non-Persian. I like the food, especially the crispy rice. I can handle the rude owner and the inconsistent treatment from him. Today, he took the ice from the ice machine dispenser(where the excess ice and soda goes; under where you fill your drinks) and I thought he was going to put the ice under the cold food section. He tried to lift the metal container where the fruit was in and couldn’t do it so he threw the ice onto the fruit. He then lifted the metal container and went back and got more ice. The last cup of ice went on the salad. Too bad I really liked this place.

Umm… Not sure how to start! Check-in thru Unilocal and receive a free entrée of hummus. I wasn’t very impress with the taste and spices. I had the chicken and kabob plate, which I was a little disappointed. I said no «TOMATOES» and when the cook bought out the plate from the kitchen«a big red tomato» looking at me!!! Literally, one minute pass by and he brings me out the same plate with tomatoes stains on the food. I’m allergic to tomatoes, this isn’t the right thing to do or mess with customers. I didn’t want to complain about it, so… I gave my food to my mother to take home. The only thing I really liked from this place was the white rice. We came here for dinner and we both spend about $ 30 for two plates, not including drinks. I thought it was a little overprice. The customer service was okay, when asked for yogurt sauce and extra pita bread. It was bought to us at no extra charge. There was no other interaction with the employees and customers.

I’ve been wanting to come here but never got the chance. Glad i came, the food is constantly refreshed and brought out hot. The restaurant is clean and neat. But the food though yummy, yummy, yummy. All you can eat buffet min-fri from 11:30am to 3:30pm for $ 9.99 drink included.

Grest taste, all you can eat lunch at a great price. A very informal, but presentable place in the heart of the West valley. Very attentive staff. Very clean and great portions.

I loved this place for about 2 months, food was great but well eventually a rude employee with a baseball cap and glasses said«you need to be more mindful of other customers.“in response to the quantity of meat I eat. I decided to share my experience with the owner and he shared his employee’s sentiments. I must remind you that this place is considered all you can eat. I do not recommend coming here, price is right but it’s only a matter of time before they complain to you directly about the portions you eat. Alter the price if you are bleeding, do not take it out on the customer. I was very polite during all of this, I felt a new level of disrespect. Needless to say I will never come back again. They will monitor your food, they will foster deep seated hate for you, and they will threaten to refuse service. The majority of customers are middle eastern and I suspect there was some racism as well. Two months of loyal attendance weekly, I’ve brought in several customers, I’ve had food catered from them. Do not eat here, they will inevitably spoil the whole experience.

Malek’s offers a pretty good lunch buffet with excellent persian food and a very good price. My parents live near here and are regulars at the spot. If your hungry and craving kabobs, then this is the place to go!
