Fina makes some of the best pizza in Brooklyn. More people need to get familiar with Fina. It might be some of the best pizza I’ve had. They make delicious Neapolitan style pizza. The Margherita has the perfect sauce to cheese ratio and the Special off the menu white pie with ricotta and truffle is spectacular. I take my kids for dinner and they love the pizza here. My daughter who is 5 doesn’t eat much but she ate 3 slices on her own. I was super impressed. They also have delicious calzones if you’re not in the mood for pizza. I recommend the white calzone or if you want to try something different try the Brancaccio’s eggplant Parm collaboration calzone… Wow! Do yourself a favor and give Fina a try you won’t be disappointed.

Fina did right by me. I was refunded the amount for the pizza(the late delivery one). Thank you. I have started ordering from them again, and they have not disappointed me since. The pizza is awesome, and I’m glad they are in the neighborhood.

This place is a joke. Worst customer service and bad food. You are expecting to receive a nice and tasty pizza for $ 25, but you only find yourself with burnt yet cold greasy stuff.

This is a tough review to write. The pizza is very good. So why the low marks? Because after over one year of TRYING and BELIEVING it is possible… Fina still canNOT deliver a pizza without a major F-up. Sure I get a free soda. I DON’T WANT A FREESODA. I want the pizza delivered without having to call and ask if it is coming(after over an hour). IF they can figure out delivery… I give it a 4+. Or if you go sit there… I am sure I would give it a 4. I don’t want to dissuade people from eating there… I want the managers to WAKEUP and figure out why they are not able to deliver(uhm?) PIZZA?

Fina used to be great but now they are ok. I don’t like what they have done with their sauce lately. I hope they change it back.

Great neighborhood brick oven pizza place. My wife and I like the pizza so much that we decided to host our daughters Baptism lunch there a few weeks ago. Needless to say, Fina was a huge hit with our family. The service is always great, very friendly and attentive staff & owners. The food is really delicious and we’re very happy to have them nearby. Highly recommended!

We order from Fina all the time and its consistently good. Delivery is usually pretty fast and although the nature of the pizza doesn’t always hold up its always tasty. Tonight though was the best it’s ever been. I don’t know if the crust is a bit thicker or I’m a sucker for those little pepperoni slices but it was so good!

Horrible experience — food, delivery, customer service. Ordered on grub hub and they said it would be an hour and a half. 2 hours later I called the restaurant and was told it was out for delivery. 20 minutes later they told me they would contact the delivery guy and call me back. No call and when I tried them again, no answer. The order did come eventually and it was 100% wrong. And what we did get was terrible.

This joke’s not funny… Ordered an artichoke and roasted red pepper pizza at 8PM on Grubhub; Waited one hour — called the place to check status — «He’ll be right there.» Called again at 9:45 — «He’s right nearby.» Called again at 10:00 — no one answered the phone. Plans for pizza and a movie at home cancelled… 10:15! Pizza arrives — unfortunately the wrong pizza — white pizza, and no salad! Could these clowns be any less funny? Abysmal experience.

Pizza is great, and delivery is always quick. I’m happy to have this place close to home.

I’ve been here about 3 times with my bf and we like it a lot! The pizza is deliciously airy(we usually get the margarita with half pepperoni and half mushroom). We also pair the pizza with their cheese calzone with ricotta & mozzarella), which is really delicious! On one of the days that my sweety was insatiable, he also ordered their spinach, sausage, and mozzarella calzone. I had one bite and didn’t care for it at all… but he LOVED it! The red wine is always perfect and the music is STRICTLY90’s rock! There are two reasons why I do not give this cool establishment 5 stars. One, they do not take credit cards — CASHONLY and two, which is the worst of all for me, they DONOT serve dessert. Waaaaaaaaaahhhh… When we asked why, they said that they had no room in their kitchen to store desserts. Surely there MUST be SOMETHING that they can do about this??? Unfortunately, after eating here, I’m forced to «get my sweet on» somewhere else :(BUMMER…

Decided to check out Fina based on it’s positive Unilocal rating/reviews. My boyfriend and I went on a Saturday night around 7 p.m. and it was very quiet. For a little while us and another couple were the only diners, but it started to fill in a little before we left. There was one server working and she was fantastic! Very friendly and attentive. We ordered a whole pizza w/pancetta. The meat was sliced a little thick for my tastes, but the meal was delicious nonetheless. Would recommend!

Delivery sucks. Pizza isn’t terrible, but it arrived cold. Pretty disappointing… I don’t live very far, so someone clearly let it sit out for a while or took a smoke break or something.

Yes! This place rules and I only recently found out that they deliver to me on Prospect Avenue. We got a pizza with mushroom and olive on half and ice cold bottle of it was awesome brick oven pizza. Definitely the best I’ve had in the immediate area.

Having just moved to the area, I was looking for a decent brick oven pizza spot. Unfortunately, I will not be a repeat customer of Fina. I ordered the basic pizza, along with a spinach and sausage calzone, and two sodas. First of all, I only received one soda. Whatever, it happens sometimes. The pizza itself was OK, but nothing special. There seemed to be almost no cheese on it. The calzone, on the other hand was cold and consisted of filler that looked like the inside of a dirty diaper. You live and you learn.

Outstanding pizza and calzones. We had the take out order but I’m sure the service was as good as we experienced. We had the specially made vegetarian pizza that was perfectly made. We also had the spinach calzone and the ricotta cheese calzones and they were just like my family used to make. You just have to try it!

Fina Pizza Bar is as good as it gets when it comes to Brooklyn brick oven pizza. The white pie is my favorite: mozzarella, ricotta, grana padano and truffle oil. Fresh imported ingredients. Must be a cheese lover to love this one! Another favorite is the ricotta and mozzarella calzone. The restaurant is new and clean. The service is attentive and friendly. They now service alcohol, so come here on a date, by yourself or with your family — it’s good for all! Seriously making myself hungry just writing this!

Great place for the neighborhood. Really kind server, and food and wine were served pretty quickly. They deliver, so if we can’t make it the five blocks, we can still enjoy. Margarita pizza with mushrooms and garlic was well done but not overdone. The arugula salad with cheese was great for an appetizer. Dressing was lite and flavorful. Can’t wait to go back to try the white pie.

I was so excited when I heard this place was opening in the neighborhood. But when I learned a slice was four dollars I was hesitant, even in park slope the prices are not that high. I still wanted to give it a chance so I went in one day and I was the only person in there. The owner was sitting at the table and he remarked that he hadn’t seen me in before. I told him I was trying it for the first time and when he saw I only ordered one slice to go he told me that it was not the correct way to enjoy his food that I had to sit and eat a whole pie. To me that was tacky and sort of turned me off, he should have been more gracious that I was willing to come in and try the food. Needless to say the slice is good but not four dollar worthy.

Stopped by for pizza a little while ago and the restaurant was empty except for us. The menu is written on the top wall above the exit. They didn’t have their liquor license yet, not sure if they got it since then. But they don’t let you BYOB which kind of sucks. The server was fine. Nothing remarkable positively or negatively. The pizza was way too oily and soggy. I think it was because of the very thick slices of mozzarella. It lets out too much oil and is too heavy for the crust. There was no way to eat a slice with just your hands without it flopping all over the place. The pizza was also way too charred for my taste, a lot of spots on the crust and bottom that were hard and black. It also needed Parmesan for saltiness, or something else to make it less bland. Overall, I wouldn’t make a trip just for the food here. And it’s not like the ambiance warrants a special trip here. Skip it unless you just want to support the business because it’s in your neighborhood.
