The Thompson house is most definitely the place to stay during your time in the mountains. With a ton of amenities and activities, impeccable views of the mountain, and beautiful scenery available from your balcony, this is definitely my #1 choice of lodging in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and priced affordably, and overall, its just peaceful! Don’t miss out on a chance to stay here next time you find yourself in the Catskill mountains!

Great Place! Clean Rooms! People are friendly and accomodating. Try the ice skating for the kids. 5 minutes from town and Windham Mtn. Its a can’t miss choice for staying at Windham. Family friendly with large rooms that sleeps a family of 4 and has room to sit at the couches and chairs comfortably. Our next trip to Windham we will definitely be back to the Thompson House.

We stayed in The Pines section of the hotel — beautiful view of the mountains from the deck and reasonably priced in the off-​season. If you can stand the charmingly hideous décor, you can groove on some romantic mountain action with your better half.
