Trigo De Oro Bakery

We enjoyed a delicious and beautiful birthday cake. It was so light and airy and had this marvelous cream filling.
I am not sure about their hours or what they have in their cases but the cake was great!

This used to be a good place to get latin «pan dulce», or sweetbread, but since the lady stopped working and her son took over, it seems to have gone downhill. First, there is hardly ANY variety, second they have weird hours, not like 8 – 4 but like 130 — 6 or something? Also I went asking for a certain type of bread, and the guy swore up and down that I was mistaken, that they hadnt sold that bread in YEARS, and that I must have bought bread at a spanish store. Um, has he never heard «the customer is always right?» I dont have dementia, I know where I bought the bread, another (more business savvy) person would have attempted to figure what I wanted and OFFERED something bit no this guy was rude and argued with me about how thereas no way I bought what I said at his bakery. Dont waste your time here, panera or even martins bakery gives you more bang for your buck, and if its authentic pan dulce you want, try «cuna del sol» in manassas.
