Everything here is great even the service. The food is delicious and their Iced Masala Chi Tea with coconut milk is the best.

I need to kill some time before a meeting with a customer and I couldnt open my eyes if you paid me a million bucks(Well, maybe if you paid me… lol). So I went to the best coffee house in Wilmington. This spot looks good from the outside and the inside is totally modern and chill. The people working there are super nice. I ordered a small mocha with two shots of expresso and it came to $ 6.45. I thought that is a little expensive for a small mocha with a couple of shots of expresso, but Ive never ordered this from any other coffee shop to know if its expensive or not. The mocha tasted great, totally hit the spot and they have a very happy customer. If I’m in need of a coffee shop while visiting customers in this area, I will definitely be stopping by Hojas. To those of you that want a legit coffee shop in the area, cause there are a very very limited amount of businesses in this area, come by this place. Its a great little coffee shop!

So my friend, had told me about this place, they have really good teas, and tonics. Drove to Wilmington just to try it out, i live in LA, i took my mom with me, as we stood there not knowing what to order, the lady in the cashier, asked if we had any questions, so we told her it was our first time, so she started telling us what their best Sellers were, asking what we liked and based on that, she recommended the peaceful lavender, and leche con miel, i belive its called, they were delicious and was not disappointed. Will be back to try new drinks

I love it here! You do not see a lot of Faith based coffee shops! I love the Exodus scripture on their little business cards and the natural teas and coffees! My favorite is the Quiet Primrose, it is a tad sweet and creamy. I have also tried their iced coffees and I like how they are not very sweet like other coffee shops. The pastries are on the pricey side, especially for the area they are located in, but they are so good! I like the Cheesecake and the Coconut Cream Cake. And I like how they also give out Customer reward cards, I always lose mine, I would have probably had my free drink by now!

One of my co-workers brought me an amazing tea from this place so had to come back and it doesn’t dissapoint! Great flavors, savory, fresh tea! Was encouraged that they were also playing worship music when I came. I saw here on the Unilocal page more About the business and encouraged to know the vision behind it all. I see that tangibly during my time here, so thank you for your heart for community, people, providing a great atmosphere, and great product!

Tea is great. However they don’t disclose nutritional facts and you are for sure having an enormous amount of calories and sugar! Also they need to change their store hours. They state they close at 9pm but they close around 8:15. Not cool, they said no to me twice

My boss and I stopped by for after lunch coffee. I would rather support small independent shops rather than chains, so we stopped here rather than hunting down a Starbucks. The place was about half full. The had good looking salads and desserts in the glass fridge and a nice selection of loose teas. I just had a drip coffee and they have vanilla or coconut milk options. I got mine plain to add nonfat milk, but only found half and half, so I knocked off one start for not having milk options on the counter. My boss’s order was mixed up and he offered to just have them pour the small drink into the larger cup and top off with coffee, but they insisted on starting his drink over. I’ll stop in the time I’m in the area and try a wonderful tea. I wish there were half stars as this is visit was 3.5 stars.

Evreyone suggested the masala chai, house chai or crème maiel. Well, house chai looks good but is only served hot and it was a warmer day so we tried the iced masala and maiel! Def liked the Masala chai best! Crème maiel tasted like a light milk tea. Def. trying the house chai next time on a cooler day! Update: Yup! House chai is ssoo good too! Def my favorite place to get good chai tea.

I’m very disappointed in the service I’ve experienced in this establishment. I recently went to purchase two drinks, and though I was third in line, I did not receive my drinks for 40 minutes and this was after watching 8 people receive their drinks though they arrived right after me. The ladies in charge of the teas were more concerned with preparing drinks for their regulars and people I assumed to be their relatives, rather than regular costumers that I assume mean nothing to them. I love Hojas, but I am considering no longer coming here if they continue this sort of business model. This sort of favoritism and nepotism is not something that should be continued in a café that strives to be the ideal Christian/Catholic business. I’m so disappointed.

Just about every drink is delicious. My favorite though is the white tea blend. The food is meh, nothing amazing. I’ve tried their kale salad – sad to say I was not impressed – and I’ve also tried their veggie sandwich – it was good. Their pastries are alright, they are a bit pricey though. The biggest con: the wait. I always have to wait more than 10mins for my drink. Just last week, I waited for 18minutes. But I always keep coming back. Yes, the drinks are worth it – sometimes – when I have the time to wait.

Hojas is amazing! The best chai tea ever. There are loose leaves and some magic stuff that is filtered in your to-go cup. Every tea is so good. I took a pic of their menu because I wasn’t able to remember all the teas.

Didn’t like it. Coffee tasted burnt and had no flavor. Sandwich was bland. Next time I’ll go to the Mexican coffee and desert shop I meant to go to but mistakenly gps’ed this place instead.

This is a cute little place. I came on a weekday after work to relax and get some work done while I waited for a friend to finish up with his work day. I ordered an Asian Chicken Salad with a tea, which name’s I can’t remember, but involved fruits. The drink was delicious. It was a light drink that felt healthy to drink. I wish there were some fruit bits in it, but that’s just a personal preference, so no star lost there. The lost of star came from the Asian Chicken Salad and the crowd. The Asian Chicken Salad had a strange dressing. It should’ve been tasty, but it wasn’t. If it was meant to be healthy, then it shouldn’t have been served with ramen bits in lieu of tortilla strips. Then the crowd. Oh the crowd. To my right two girls with their feet propped up on the couch. That’s disgusting. It’s a couch. All the germs and crap on their feet are now on the couch that I’m sure doesn’t get cleaned. In front of me, was a couple that provided enough PDA to last me the rest of my lifetime. I wasn’t so lucky though, another came in shortly after they left and provided another lifetime dosage that left me gasping for non-PDA air. In public spaces, I like for people’s tongue to be in their own mouths. Just a preference. It could be the timing of my visit(the time all high school students are out, but early enough for them to hang out) or that I’m old and old skool. Whatever it is, you won’t catch me there from 3−6PM.

WOW! I am a tea drinker and drink mostly herbal and this is about 3 to 5 cups a day on average. I usually only drink 1 to 2 different brands and they are NOT what you find at the chain coffee houses. My friend invited me to this place as we were going to catch up. I was a little curious as to the place, since it was in Wilmington, a city I never stop in, just pass through. I found the address and as I pulled into the small shopping plaza, I noticed a line to the door! I thought, wow, ok, I guess I’ll have to wait. Luckily, my friend had already been in line. I ordered the Quiet Primrose and they use soy milk. I don’t usually add milk to my tea, but I was open to trying something new. This tea is herbal and I was happy. We found a table in the corner… I get my drink and it was soo pretty!!! It smelled DIVINE! … like perfume, made from essential oils. I could see the little pink flowers and the other herbs floating and it was a new sight to see. The tops already have filters so you don’t have to worry about getting any of the ingredients in your mouth. My first sip… Spring in my mouth, yet relaxing and feminine and a taste that was perfectly sweetened(I don’t even know if it had sweetener?), b/c now that I think about it, I didn’t add anything to it. You can order the teas hot or cold, and I ordered mine hot. The line never got shorter, but moved fairly quickly. I was told their house green chai is one of their top sellers. Maybe next time. I am going JUSTTO Wilmington for this hot tea! Definitely recommend!

All of the items they serve, whether it’s tea or food, all of the ingredients are fresh & flavorful! An array of tastes will satisfy whatever you’re craving! My favorite is the iced Crema Con Miel & the dolce de leche bar. Sooo good!

WOW!!! I’ll start by saying that I really don’t get the fuss with tea(or coffee for that matter) — I guess I can compare the way some people feel about tea to how I feel about a good taco? Anyway, so the first thing I did was balk at the prices of the frickin tea like, how good could it POSSIBLY be? It’s tea, one tea bag bought in bulk costs like 2 cents. Boy, was I COMPLETELYWRONG. Creamy, smooth, delectable: those are the only words I can use to describe the coconut tea I had. I am not too proud to admit how completely, utterly, foolishly wrong I was about tea. Worth every penny and I can’t wait to try one of their baked goods next time! I wish there were just more locations as Wilmington is a bit of a drive.

WHAT A GEM. I guess this predominantly serves the Hispanic community? I felt out of place at first, but those feelings were all forgotten after I had my first sip of my iced Matcha Latte with coconut and vanilla. Out of this world good. The cheesecake was also superb. An extra bonus was that the place – while busy – was still relatively quiet. Was able to catch up with a dear friend with no problems. So sad that I tried this place after I already moved to the Bay. I’ll be sure to hit this place up when I visit the better part of California.

I pleasantly discovered this shop near my workplace while searching for a coffee/boba shop. There aren’t much around this area so I’m glad that I found this cute place on Unilocal! I absolutely love their House Chai Tea(only comes in hot). It’s one of the best chai teas I’ve ever had. It’s definitely on the pricier side(almost $ 5) but that’s because they’re using real tea leaves and ingredients. Their coconut fusion was pretty refreshing as well. They put real mango pieces in their Green Tea Mango infusion. A must visit if you’re in the area!

Visited the café on an early Saturday afternoon hoping to get some work done and enjoy the drinks and food offered here. Pros: — Chai Tea: delicious! I can definitely see what people are raving about because they use actual tea leaves for many of their tea’s unlike other places that use powders and mixess to create their lattes. I haven’t had the chance to try their coffee, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be disappointed. Cons: — I was expecting internet as the place does say they have wi-fi. When I asked about their internet they said it hadn’t been working for a few weeks. — Chinese Chicken Salad — tastes like any store bought salad, nothing special. *If you’re going to come here, definitely come here for the drinks!
