Anton’s Cleaners

First, I will say I am from out of town. And, where I live dry cleaning services are cheap, and have a fast turn around… which I will appreciate when I get home like never before. At home, in LV, dry cleaning is same or next day and costs roughly $ 2.50 per item.
Given this, I thought nothing of taken some clothing to be dry cleaned while on vacation. 2 sun dresses, a velvet blazer, and a cotten blend cardigan. I dropped off on Friday afternoon and was told they wouldn’t be ready until Tuesday. I was surprised that it was going to be so long, but it wasn’t a big deal. And, when I went in on Tuesday afternoon, they still weren’t ready.
While, I was waiting I dropped off 2 additional pieces.
What WAS a big deal was my $ 59 bill when I picked up. In my wildest dreams I couldn’t have imagined it would cost that much. I was sure they had made a mistake, but… sadly, nope.
I have no words for how shocked I was. And, they didn’t even do a good job… the sweater & one of the dresses were wrinkled, and they elbow pads on the blazer discolored.
After, being «taken to the cleaners» (by the cleaners), I immediately took back the other 2 pieces I was dropping off, and cancelled them. That would have been another $ 20.
I can very safely say, I will NEVER be back.

Very disappointing. This location closes rather late… Which is why I try to do my dry cleaning here. I arrived a 8:03… And people were still in the store. They close at 8pm. They wouldn’t let me pick up my stuff which I really needed for the next morning. When I talked to the employee he said «he already closed his drawer» — I find that hard to believe and number two I was on a prepaid program where they already charged my credit card. He was unwilling to even talk to me in person. And chose to hide out back. I spend close to $ 50 a week here, no more. That business can go elsewhere. They are overpriced as it is.

I have to say I love the after hours drop, I like the one day service. That being said, they seem to be very pricey and if I wanted double creases in my pants I would have saved 7 buck and done them myself!
