I LOVELOVELOVE this place. I can’t explain how amazing it is. Cheap, extremely quick and the employees are great. The crabs are good for how cheap they are. $ 35 for three dozen is unheard of back home. I can not stress how great it is to have good service. They joked with us and were beyond helpful when choosing our food. Will continue to rave about this place !

It was good. In town full of restaurant choices glad we chose this one. Food and service were good. Definitely would go back and would recommend. Unfortunately Byob but liquor store half a block away is nice.

The scallop was heavenly, but then the special of the day, and most expensive item, the fish filet, was dry and rough. Crumbled paper was what came to my mind. But like most places in Cape May area, with so many old retirees and their retirement account to dry up, this restaurant charges you a lot for stuff it thinks you, being a retiree with a regressed taste bud, can’t possibly tell the difference from the cheaper stuff down at Comercial Mexicana.

The menu only has 6 entrees, one of which is the fish of the day, which our server said was fresh off the boat that morning. I ordered the scallops over corn risotto with asparagus and roasted lemon butter sauce. It was fantastic. My wife kept stealing bites from my dish. She wants to go back so she can have her own dish of the scallops. They’re that good. The entire dish tasted so fresh. The 5 scallops were perfectly caramelized, and melt in your mouth tender. The lemon butter sauce delightfully tart, buttery, and flavorful. It’s always a crap shoot ordering risotto in a restaurant. So many places have no idea how to properly make risotto. Risotto should be wet and creamy, almost soupy. It should never be dry and sticky and too many restaurants serve dry, sticky, gummy risotto. It’s shameful to serve it that way. Thankfully my corn risotto was wet and creamy, just as it should be, and the rice cooked to a perfect al dente. The corn was freshly cut off the cob, sweet, and crisp. The asparagus were perfectly cooked too. My wife said that her crab cake entrée was equally delicious. For one night, skip the tourist trap restaurants that are littered all over Wildwood and have a meal at One Fish, Two Fish.

Just like the reviewer below me, I was here for a pre-triathlon meal. I got the market fish(delicious), my friend had braised spare ribs(scrumptious). Apps were also great — tasty and creative. Portions are huge. Service was on point. Décor/space layout could be better, but we were happy with our overall experience.

I’m not liberal with my 5 star reviews. This restaurant is a winner. We started with the carrot ginger soup topped with shredded crab. Wow! Creamy, sweet, well balanced by the salty clearly fresh crab. As an entrée we had the seared scallops over fresh corn risotto. Another home run– the sauce was some kind of butter + vinegar amazing mixture. The scallops were perfectly cooked, seared on the outside but just done inside. Risotto was done to a turn, toothsome, neither mushy nor al dente. We were too full for dessert but I hope to make a second trip in the future to try more from this really exceptional chef! Service was really good, although we were never offered beverages aside from water– I know they’re BYOB but I thought at least iced tea or a cola? Atmosphere was nice, small location with minimal on street parking. Pricing was comensurate with the quality– $ 91 for two apps and two entrees.

Hands down best food on the Island. I had the short ribs AWSOME and my hubby had the halibut Delish. Service was great and now they have a place for costumers to park.

I’ve been here a few times. It’s a small place, so make a reservation. Service is friendly and efficient. The quality of the food is excellent. There are very few restaurants in the Wildwoods of this caliber. I had a halibut special that I will be dreaming about for a long time!

This is the best meal I’ve had at the Jersey shore. I order an eggplant appetizer that was delicious. But the main course was tops. I ate scallops with a lemon butter sauce and corn risotto. Perfectly seared scallops and the sauce was«lick the plate» amazing. My wife had the crab cakes and mashed potatoes which were equally tasty.

The 4 Scallops with corn Risotto was good but not worth $ 33. I rated them on a $$$ paying field and expected a little more. The server was very nice and knowledgeable, but the«dining hall» was as plain as it comes. Because we were one of the first dinner tables of the night, I believe our rolls were from the previous day(if not, consider this an improvement opportunity). The associated seasoned Olive Oil that came on a on a separate bread plate also has much room for improvement. We parked for free a block away at an old gas station that the restaurants had directed us to with no issues. The place has a lot of potential and I would rate them a 5-stare if only they were about 25% less expensive.

Our favorite down the shore dinner we go every year. This was our third time. The mussels are the best we’ve ever had. Our server name was Alyssa and she great. If your in wildwood give it a shot it is worth the price.

Great little joint right here in Wildwood. We enjoyed the mussels prepared in a tobasco broth, a heavenly carrot ginger soup with crabmeat, a very fresh yellowfin tuna, and crabcakes with enough mashed potatoes to feed an orphanage. Be sure to make reservations as the place was packed. Also, this is byob so bring your favorite vino.

Service was excellent. There is a liquor store next door(it is a BYOB). Parking is an absolute nightmare — plan on using the Parkmobile app. The food is a step above anything I’ve had in Wildwood. Scallops were very very good. Crab cakes were very good — very meaty with hardly any breadcrumbs/filler. Tasty. The clams were ok. Salmon — it was called«blackened» on the menu, but it was over cooked for my taste. I guess I was hoping for something a little raw in the middle. If you’re looking for fully cooked salmon, perhaps this is for you, but I never want salmon cooked so much.

Nice place but not in a good location. Not ADA compatible for wheelchairs. Limited menu, however it was delicious. Order the mussels and the crab Cakes. I would come again and remember to BYOB

We were in town for a triathlon and went here for a pre-race dinner, we ended up going back for a post race dinner, too, because it was so good and we wanted to try the other things on the menu. The menu is small, but each item is thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The first night I had the wedge salad followed by the crab cakes. Both were light and perfectly seasoned, melt in your mouth good. The second night I had the scallops over corn risotto, which were even better than the crab cakes. My wife has a diary allergy and they accommodated her on every dish; the chef actually shifted every recipe so that he wasn’t just leaving out butter or cream, but was adding in things to keep the sauces balanced. You don’t get that anywhere except small restaurants where the chef is the owner and puts everything into making the dining experience exceptional. Speaking of exceptional, we had some of the best customer service we’ve ever had. The wait staff were on hand to explain things, but were not obtrusive; they obviously knew the dishes intimately and could describe the flavors. Moreover they were patient and generally warm and charming. I overheard one man at a nearby table asking for his salmon to be served well done, which isn’t typical. His wife was trying to talk him out of it and tried to get the waitress on her side. I thought the server’s answer was very diplomatic. She said; «Well, I don’t think the chef would prepare the salmon well done for himself, but you know what tastes right to you and we want to be sure you like it.» The wife went on trying to talk her husband into not going with well done and the waitress added: «If you like, we could prepare it medium and if it doesn’t suit you, I can take it back and we can put it back on for a bit.» That seemed to make everyone happy. I don’t think many servers could have pulled that off so deftly. She probably prevented a divorce right there. The establishment is small, so making a reservation, particularly in the high season of the summer is crucial. It is BYOB and there is a liquor store right next door, so that is very convenient. Note: Park on the side streets, which aren’t metered, because the metered parking out front is ridiculous. It only takes quarters and it’s two dollars and hour, while there is free parking a block away. As another reviewer noted, the interior ambience is sweet and intimate, but the views are blah. That is a pretty minor quibble. I’d go out of my way to eat here again.

I don’t mean to sound like a snot or a snob but after staying in Cape May for the week you really thinking you’re ‘slumming’ when you head up to some other towns/boardwalks. And I never thought in a million years that my absolute favorite(seafood) dinner for the week would’ve been in Wildwood and not Cape May. As usual I can only thank Unilocal for existing and steering my family to One Fish, Two Fish. Small and BYOB — two good signs… you know the chef(who needs to compete on a future season of ‘Top Chef’!) is in control and the quality won’t suffer and you’re going to save a buck or two on the hooch. Absolutely the best broth for mussels I ever tasted. I couldn’t help but be ‘that guy’ begging the waitress to divulge the recipe and exact cooking technique(so I could attempt it at home and when I wow my friends I’ll lie and pretend it’s my own creation). Even the couscous was exceptional. For the sake of finding something to complain about: the view stinks. You’re either staring at the liquor store across the street or a family restaurant/arcade/ice cream shop.(But if you’re like me you’re looking down at your plate the entire time amazed that each bite is better than the last.)

Absolutely awesome! Boyfriend and I are in the area for vacation. We poked about on Unilocal, hemming and hawing over which place to try for seafood. We kept coming back to One Fish Two Fish. The reviews were all good and it was close to where we were staying. Decision made! Let me start off by recommending reservations. This cosy place has limited seating and no shortage of patrons. The staff were more than accommodating where possible but if it’s booked, it’s booked! The atmosphere is classy with the music at the perfect volume for listening or comfortable conversation. Oh right! Food! Just yum. Calamari started the evening out. It was perfectly crumb breaded and cooked so as to be tender and not chewy. This was accompanied by a marinara sauce with green chilies which were prepared in the same manner as the calamari. For entrées we ordered both of the market specials. Mine was fresh grouper with passion fruit beurre blanc served over perfectly tender asparagus and savory sweet couscous. Boyfriend managed to nab the last of the yellow fin tuna, served rare and similarly to mine but with a roast pepper sauce. Needless to say we were both incredibly pleased with our meals! This place is worth every effort to dine at!

Wow. This place blew me away. There aren’t even words. Well, there are, but I’m not sure they would do this meal justice. It’s a cute small place simply decorated and a fairly uncomplicated menu. Until you try and decide what to order. Too many things looked good so we decided to share everything as a table. We started with a crisp perfectly dressed Caesar salad(something I’m super picky about and a great test of a restaurant) and hot fried calamari that have thin fried jalapeños that add the perfect little kick. Next came the mussels. O.M.G. The mussels. To quote my friend — «I want to take a bath in these and never get out» — odd thing to say — yes — but I think you get the hint. Next came out entrees which we passed around the table so everyone got to sample it all. Perfectly cooked NY Strip and fall apart short ribs for the meat and seared scallops and the grouper special to round off the seafood. There was plenty of conversation bickering about which one was better than the next. It’s BYOB which means the check is completely reasonable. The staff is super friendly to round it all off. I’m so glad a blast from my high school homeroom recognized us and sent us here. Chef Ryan — well done my friend, you’ve certainly found your calling. I can’t wait to return and peel my friend out of a bath tub of mussels.
