Ambiance Hair Designs

I LOVE Ambiance! They recently provided all of the hair/​make-​up for my labor day weekend wedding — and did an incredible job! Not only was everyone so nice and talented, but I was blown away with how organized and well run they were. Not only did the salon open up for us on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, but everyone got there extra early to accommodate my large bridal party. Karla was terrific and put the whole «event» together for us. I expected the morning of my wedding to be extremely hectic and stressful, but everything at Ambiance went so smoothly I ended up having a nice relaxing start to my day. And everyone was so fantastic and kind, I really can’t wait to visit them the next time I am down in Wildwood! I really give them my highest recommendation!

Highly recommend! Tried this place out for the first time while down in Wildwood on vacation and they were excellent. My manicurist, Michelle was open to trying a fun design from pictures I showed her online and even knowing I was not a local and would probably be a one time customer the staff was so nice and hospitable. The receptionist, Carol, could not have been friendlier. They even ran out to put money in my meter for me so I didn’t have to rush out to my car. Great staff, great manicure!

Just spent a few hours with the amazing ladies at Ambiance. I’m down in Wildwood for a winter retreat vacation and decided to treat myself to a few hours at the spa. I called and Ashley (receptionist) was so nice and personable. Right when I walked in, I was greeted with smiles.
Even though they just opened 2 weeks ago (there was extensive damage from Hurricane Sandy), you couldn’t really tell.
Lisa took me back to the waxing room and spent detailed time shaping, waxing, and plucking my eyebrows. I was one of those clients who hadn’t had any eyebrow waxing in months (Lisa had her work cut out for her). She shared with me about her schooling and certifications in waxing, facials, microdermabrasions and more. I felt very comfortable and was not in pain after my eyebrow waxing.
Then, I spent the rest of my day with Maggie who was great! We started with my pedicure. She spent time and product to get the calluses off my feet and was very gentle (I’m very ticklish). And those pedi chairs. Ahhhh amazing.
We headed over to her manicure station where she was very openly tested designs I saw on Pinterest. She did a «Wow» job for her first time doing this design. It looks great.
I am very happy with my day there and would highly recommend this for people living in Wildwood Crest or on vacation. They are very clean, personable and detail oriented.

Pat probably cut my hair for the majority of my life and when I first moved away to college I would return home to get my hair cut. Even living in NYC I would come home to Pat since he did a great job and cost 75% less! (NYC is crazy).
Since living in Boston traveling to SJ for a hair cut is a little bit ridiculous but I know my mother, who also goes to Pat, still goes to Ambiance for her cut and color!
Since leaving SJ, Pat is no longer an owner (I don’t think) but still cuts hair and I highly recommend him.
