Had the half and half veggie bowl with white rice and It was sooo yummy!!! dont suggest going during lunch rush hour because of traffic and how small parking lot is. Other then that the service was amazing.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Waba Grill. I just didn’t like my experience at THIS Waba Grill. 2 of us arrived 15 minutes before closing. The cashier took our order, took my credit card, then said«oh you can only take this to go. We’re closing soon so you can’t eat here». The two of us traveled over an hour from different places for an event in the area. We didn’t have anywhere to take the food. We are now sitting in the parking lot eating our Waba bowls. Not really the ideal meal.

What a horrible experience. Called in to inquiry on catering, asked for the price of a large chicken tray and large beef tray. Lady on the phone was extremely rude and told me $ 45 for a chicken and $ 75 for the beef. I agreed to the large chicken tray and paid. When I arrived on Saturday to pick it up, they gave me a small tray of chicken. After I informed the lady that I ordered the large she responded«we only have one size» that information would have been nice to have known when I ordered it. I then asked how many people would it feed, the rude man behind her responded«it all depends how much you serve» NOSHIT, but there is always an avg of what they estimate but I guess not at Waba Grill. I ended up having to order two large pizzas to make up for the missing food. DON’T ORDERCATERINGFROMTHISPLACE. Flame broiler has the large chicken tray for $ 46 and it is actually large. This place is a rip off.

Waba Waba :) I prefer coming here instead of flame brolier. Facility is alot bigger and cleaner with a bigger food menu as well. I ordered the chicken veggie bowl with brown rice, which an extra $.25. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are trying to eat a bit better.

One of the best places to get a chicken bowl teriyaki sauce is great they also have salmon and shrimp veggie bowls. The menu is simple and the restaurant is always clean. The service is quick and set up like a fast food joint for faster service which is especially good for hungry people

I just went in to order for my kids and myself and the cashier was EXTREMELY rude and to top it off they don’t have sauce for you to take home. This is the only waba grill I’ve been to where they don’t let you help yourself to whatever you need. Won’t be going back to this one.

This teriyaki themed restaurant currently has a pretty nice promotion going on. If you shop at the Food4Less store located in the same plaza, you can get a coupon for $ 2.00 off any plate. The coupon can be found on the back of your Food4Less receipt. In addition, this Waba location is offering all soft drinks for only 99 cents. Thus, you could get a light, healthy, value themed lunch for around $ 7-$ 8 including tax. Their plates consist of a small entrée portion, a small side salad, and a half of an orange for dessert. While I wish their portion size was more generous, it’s probably still a decent deal for those craving just a light meal.

Price is decent for chicken/veggie bowl for about $ 8.00. It’s okay. You can do better at the mall with this type of food. This is suppose to be healthy though.

Way way better than flame broiler or yoshinoya. Don’t know why there aren’t higher marks on this place. It’s the same price as anywhere else and decently healthy. Def one of the places I go more frequently if I need some quick grub

Firstly I could barely understand the cashier when I first walked up. No hello on walking up. Second the food was ok. I feel like the food is super easy, but it should make me want to come back even if the customer service is not that great. Overall I’m going to stick to Flame Broiler.

I have to question whether service is going to be good or bad when an asian eating place opens up and there are no asian people working there. I went there today and the sign says it opened at 11:00. The time was 10:55. I tried to open the door but it was locked. The two people inside just ignored me. So 11:00 goes by and the door still doesn’t open. I try to open the door again and it’s still closed. People inside still continue to ignore me. So as I am about to leave and go to mcdonalds, the manager comes and opens the door. No apology for opening late, no welcome to our restaurant, nothing. Well, what can I expect, this is technically a fast food teriyaki place so I should probably ignore the customer service and just go for the food.

Food has gone downhill since it opened. The ribs are rubbery and bland. Customer service at this location is awful. Everyone always seems to be in a bad mood.

Definitely loved the food. I had the half and half with brown rice. Delicious, healthy, and worth the price. The location still looks relatively brand new. There is one large HDTV that was tuned to ABC at the time we ate.

My coworker recommended this place so we stopped by during our lunch break. Due to my strict diet right now, I was able to substitute the rice for the veggies.(I cant remember if they charged me… if they did, I’m sure I would have been upset… so maybe they didn’t??) No Sauce, just chicken and veggies. The bowl was pretty small but it was packed with veggie and protein. The place was very clean and cute. It was a good thing we came before the lunch rush… as soon as it was 12… PACKED. The food was good, chicken wasnt dry and it still had flavor without the sauce. The staff was nice and friendly too. Win win win. I’d definitely come back again. Probably the best teriyaki chicken kind of places I have been so far. :)

Lunch hour in the Santa Fe Springs area is normally a challenge for me. Not that many choices when it comes to reasonably priced and healthy. But recently I noticed a new place in the shopping center and decided to give it a try, totally worth it! It’s like a Yoshinoya, but much more healthier and tastier. I had the chicken vegatable bowl #16. It is served in a bowl with steamed rice. You can select brown rice for an extra charge. I love that they give you the option of adding green onion. My only gripe is, can you please take your time and cut the green onions a bit thinner? Getting big chunks can be a bit overpowering. Windows are clean, the service is quick and friendly, and the décor is inviting.
