I like this location :) easy to navigate thru and basic selections. They have nice deals from time to time. Lines aren’t bad. Only complaint is workers watching you at times kinda creepy.

Truly my neighborhood Staters where most of the managers to courtesy clerks know me by name and that I often forget things and have to go back the next day! One of my favorite managers would have to be Frank, his customers always come first and can chat you up without holding up the line. Thank you Louie for putting together and keeping a winning team!

It’s a little cramped and dingy but they have pretty much everything. l – more than most of their competitors for sure. The staff is friendly and helpful and they’re open late. All hail Stater Bros as grocery king.

Big thick bacon, rib eyes, hmmm, had to say that first, no other meat department like it. Staters has the best fried chicken anywhere and reasonably priced. Service deli is great. Ya need to try bakery, you’ll get hooked on those donuts in the case, pastries and cookies. Always fresh produce. All in all they have most everything you can think of. Gotta love that!

Great experience. Great prices on deodorants and head and shoulders. I will truly miss the cherries and their $ 1.35 a lbs price. Use the coke soda fountain near the front counter of the bakery. Gnarly ginger ale cherry decaf soda and order the fried chicken lunch meal. Mmmmmm

I like the variety and the bakery section! And the deli section, oh man.
The meh review is for the experience I had the only time I bought liquor here. The cashier asked for my ID and I handed her my passport. She looked at it for a second and then looked at me and asked if I had a «REAL» ID. I said «uh, yeah. that’s it.» She said that they only accept state-​issued drivers licenses or ID cards as ID, which is just freaking ridiculous. Government-​issued ID is government-​issued ID. If I can get a job with my passport I should be able to buy a bottle of Smirnoff at Stater Bros with it. Seriously.
I don’t actually know if she knew what she was doing, because she said it was «just manager’s discretion» and that she was «going to sell it to me anyway.» Is it a policy or nah?

My wife and I just moved to the neighborhood and I really gotta say that I was deeply impressed by this supermarket. It’s clean, organized, has friendly employees… Particularly, the butchers at the meat department. I’ve always been the type of guy that would dread going food shopping, but not anymore. My wife and I really enjoy shopping here, and we particularly are in love with their turnovers. Needless to say that I haven’t experienced long lines or delays at check out. Great job Stater Brothers, keep up the good work!

Clean and friendly staff. I LOVE the meat department! Beautiful cuts of Ribeye, bone in pork chops, thick cut bacon etc…
They cut and trim the meat if you ask. These butchers really care if you are satisfied with your purchase. If they don’t carry an item, just ask them to bring it in. Beautiful!

I only came in to buy bottled water and got drawn in by the strawberry pie and ended up buying strawberry crossaint, pie and éclair’s.

Just got back from this market 830am bought 3 items one line took me 25 mins just to pay. This people just don’t get it we as customer would like to be able to get in and out fast. But these guys are to worry about their budget and buy calling the main office it does nothing. Should have just gone to Ralph’s. On going problem!

Bad customer service. Alan one of the managers was on the phone flirting with the other person all the time while he was checking my groceries out without even greeting. He just handed me the receipt, not even thanking me for my business. First time I get that horrible service at Stater Bros. Hopefully they can fix this issue.

I’m here just about every other day. They usually have everything I need in stock. It’s clean and the workers are kind. The only problem is sometimes the cashiers talk about the work problems with other workers while checking someone out and it can be a little uncomfortable… but that’s more a person problem than a store problem.

Stater Bros finally got the message right. As customers we want good prices, great selection and pleasant employees. In my recent visits, the mood has changed among employees too. I normally shop at the big box warehouse and find specialty items at the «fresh» specialty stores, but now I can just stick with Stater Bros.

I love this Stater Brothers, (well…Yucaipa’s both Bryant & Calimesa my favorite.) but always find what I need & prices/​quality good… It’s just good all around…

This is one of those places where you walk in and say, «Feels like I’m at Ralph’s but I’m not.»
The interior looks similar to that of Ralph’s. Everything this in this particular store is clean, tidy, and well stocked/​organized. Prices are a little high but slightly smaller than that of Ralph’s across the street. Parking lot is small but there is always parking available.
Employees were friendly but the one employee who puts the groceries in the bag for you really really smelled bad. It gave the place a weird vibe when it comes to proper hygiene.
If you need those last minute buys then come here because guaranteed they will have it, but if you are going to buy a lot recommend you go to another supermarket.

«Where the girl next door can become your wife, every friend you make is a friend for life, in the Heartlaaaaaaaaaaand…» Okay, so not really. I don’t really think of Whittier as «The Heartland.» But this particular Stater Bros. is on the way home and the prices are always extremely reasonable. That is pretty much why I come here.
Not to mention that their butcher department is excellent! The people that work there are always very helpful and so nice.
Their weekly specials are great. And the cherry topper is that SB is part of the Upromise network which means every time I shop at SB, a percentage goes toward my student loan. F’ing A!
