First and foremost our waiter Michael, superb. I called ahead maybe about 10mins to ask them if they can have a table for 10 ready and they said yes, it was a Monday night at 830 when I called so it was empty. When I got there about 15 mins later it was set and ready. My whole party was not there but Michael insisted its not a problem and said we can have a seat. He also let us order before the rest of our party arrived, which was nice. It’s a bit chilly in here so I recommend a light sweater if you get cold quickly. Me and my mother had the prix Fixe menu, the salad, surf and turf with vanilla and strawberry ice cream for dessert. The steak and lobster tail was a good size, I’m full for $ 29 I recommend this meal for this place. It was very satisfying and in happy I got it. I got medium my mom got well done she said she wished she did medium because it was too cooked so, be weary. The ice cream was very good btw. My sister had the lobster roll she liked it a lot. Enjoyed her whole meal. My cousin didn’t like his but he’s 16 so he said it wasn’t bad but more of an acquired taste. Someone got a pizza she didn’t really like it either but she’s 17 said its more of an squired taste as well. She just said it was kind of weird didn’t really taste like pizza. Overall I think everyone enjoyed their meal. Good place. Go for it.

Was originally going to order steak but went with the gemelli pasta! It was really good! Better than I expected! It was a pretty big portion too! For dessert I had the warm chocolate cake it was really good! Overall it was a really good dinner experience!

Went here on a summer Sunday night. They have a nice patio with tons of tables, an outdoor bar and flat screens. Décor was classic and clean inside. Seated and greeted immediately. The pretzel bread is a nice touch. We both ordered the prix fixe menu surf and turf. It came with a good size filet and lobster tail accompanied with mashed potatoes and spinach. Filet had a nice seasoned crust to it and was good perfect to my liking. Lobster tasted fresh. For dessert we had a choice of two scoops of sorbet or ice cream. Overall excellent dish. Staff was wonderful.

Both meals poorly cooked — one over cooked and one undercooked freezing outside but no heat lamps set up Many staff cleaning but few people to serve or pay bill as had to get up to find someone to pay George the manager tried to make it right but was overwhelmed so a place I would not endorse or go to again

I would give zero stars if I could. The guy at the front door on weekends is way to cocky and his attitude makes it seem like it’s some sort of privilege to eat/drink at this place… Nope

Had dinner here, the menu could use a update. The appetizers are on the small size, pretty good food. The place is a little loud but they can seat you on the side which is a little quieter. Over all a good place to eat. Staff is average.

Ordered truffle fries and got regular fries. They had to be sent back to the kitchen for a touch up. The cocktails had no frills and the rest of the food was average. The only good thing about the place is the ambience, indoors is nice and cosy during a winter evening and the outdoor seating at the back is refreshing during a spring morning.

Very nice ambiance, pleasant service, food is mediocre, I had lobster quesadillas, which were ok, Caesar salad old lettuce & soggy I pushed it to the side, filet mignon kabobs were cold but our waiter got us a fresh batch, I was prepared to order an entrée but appetizers weren’t tasty, neither was our drinks flavorless margarita in a very small glass $ 11.50, it’s checked off the list I would pass on this spot.

The most racist club in white plains. Not playing R&B because of the«crowd it draws» should get Brian a severe and swift reprimand!

Pleasantly surprised !! I stopped here recently with my family for dinner and I expected the usual White Plains tavern/restaurant type fare. Hudson Grille is really unique. It has a large space with a bar and plenty of casual seating for lunch or dinner. Then there is a another large room with an upscale décor with stone walls, dark wood and leather seating. The look reminded me of an upscale Manhattan steakhouse. A third space is outside in the back of the building for al fresco dining. A wide selection of wine and drinks(try the Lychee Martini) and a wide and varied menu. I enjoyed the fish tacos, which were fresh and delicious, we also shared the Moo Shu Chicken in lettuce wrap. That was light and very tasty appetizer. Another pick was the Filet Mignon kababs which were nicely grilled and served in a teriyaki sauce. Our main dishes were Salmon on a Cedar Plank, Braised Short Rib and I chose the Lobster Roll. The lobster was delish and very fresh. Desserts are made in house and we sampled the Almond Coconut ice cream cake(yum!) and the Banoffee pie(bananas, toffee, whipped cream, etc – ) Real nice way to end the meal. Service on our visit was great. There is a parking lot right behind the restaurant on Waller Avenue as well as a garage on the same street. Cool place and worth the visit.

This place is always up to par! :) Food continues consistent and DELICIOUS! Service is attentive and the staff know what they’re doing. I Was debating on ordering a bottle of wine but wasn’t sure of what to get, the manager came by and was very helpful I could say he’s a wine connoisseur BTWGREATHAPPYHOURDEALS

No problems at all this place. I read several reviews that there was mediocre wait staff, that was just not my experience. My wait staff and manager Brian, were just fine. The bartender made spot on perfect mixed drinks for us while our table was being prepared. the food was great. No issues at all. The menu is solid, and the food was served hot and properly prepared. I plan on going there again with my next 2 or 3 couple dinner outings. Ladies and Gentlemen… That’s my time.

Overall, I had a nice brunch here, but there are a few things they could improve on. First, the service which was patchy at best. It took about 15 min for our server to come back to our table after giving us water to take our order for food. We were hungry, so we also asked if he could bring some bread before our entrees came. No such luck, he forgot it. We both ordered drinks. My friend liked hers. I think it was a classic martini. Mine was a little underwhelming. I had a gin drink that had too much cucumber in it. Not as refreshing as I would have liked. Drinks took a little while to come, but the wait wasn’t excessive. We had to wait a good while for our entrees, though, and by this point we were starving. I chose the Lox and Eggs. It was pretty good but nothing special. The home fries were also pretty bland. I also left brunch still a little hungry which is never good. My friend liked her meal, but we both agreed that it wasn’t worth the wait.

Make no mistake, Hudson Grille doesn’t compare to ANY, and I mean ANY of the many bar and lounge spots in Mamaroneck Avenue! I was meeting one of my friends for a midday quicky lunch and catch up on monotonous girl stuff. Parking on Mamaroneck was difficult. The great thing about the area, is that it’s filled with countless of municipal parking lots. The exterior seemed pretty tasteful to me. I parked and strutted from the far end and right into Hudson Grille. Immediately you’re greeted, which I like. Nothing worse than feeling neglected by a restaurant– be it elegant or not. Interior layout was relaxed and nicely dimmed– which I totally grooved to. My bestie stood me up(again), so I ended having a quick lunch by myself. I ordered a mixed green salad with roasted tomatoes, pine nuts and Parmesan cheese from their appetizer column-as an entrée. Throughout, service was spotless from start to finish. I like classy, just the same way I like funky(and loud). But please, don’t get me wrong, you’re not going to get the ‘woohoo’ crowd here. Which I was so digging.

This restaurant is surprisingly very, very good. It’s not so good that I’d ask my friends to come up from the city to try their food, but I’d definitely be down to come here for brunch at least once a month. I had the huevos rancheros and the chorizo was the best chorizo I’ve had since Los Comales in Durham, NC; I feel like I’m constantly searching for that elusive, perfect chorizo in the Northeast and I found it … here. My boyfriend got the crab benedict; I usually am not a fan of crabcakes(even though I love crab) but these crabcakes were seriously delicious. Maybe it was the chipotle mayo, but I thought they were addicting. Yum yum. I was not really a fan of the deconstructed huevos rancheros(why am I assembling my own food? So much work ahh) but I’d definitely come back to try their other foods.

Came here for food after my long flight– it was just what I needed! I had fish tacos and the duck. I love this place and am definitely coming back soon!

My experience with Hudson Grille generally stems from their nightlife offerings and St. Patrick’s Day festival. However, I have began experiencing their dining options and have been pretty pleased. My last time with them was a summer sunday brunch. Though I was a bit discouraged that there was no bottomless drink option, I have to say that I was very satisfied. The outdoor décor was great. Attentive staff and flexible ordering options. I was allowed to heavily modify my spice latte coffee drink to my liking. The brunch dining selection was pretty standard, but each dish had a bit of a welcomed twist to them. Only reason I wont give a 5 star to Hudson is that my beef in the filet benedict was a little overdone and my girlfriend’s fresh fruits were all but fresh. I also know what goes on here during after hours and no sort of cleaning can erase all of the obscenities from the night before!

Excellent White Plains restaurant. Good outdoor dining experience combined with great menu and first class service, all reasonably priced. Indoor seating also very good. Always busy which says it all. I keep coming back for more. Also easy parking in the lot at the back of the restaurant.

I had a really good experience here with a great drink selection and a sandwich that caught me off guard. Our waiter was nice and the interior looked cool. They seemed t have a large selection of wine. I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich and it was very very good! I would come back for the sandwich alone! I definitely want to come back at night.
