This place has outstanding Colombian style baked goods. Coffee is pretty good and so are the natural juices. The staff is very friendly too; I would definitely be back!

Typical colombiaN establishment shinananigans. Start off on what looks to be a promising journey… only to be shot down. VERY DISSApPOINTED! DAM! what a shame!

I just had the most amazing brunch with the family! Vegetarians: stick to the baked goods. Vegans: stay at home. Omnivores prepared to be delighted!!! I had the Tamale with arepa. Combo of half a chicken breast and hunk of pork, studded with beans, carrots, masa wrapped in banana leaf with a chipotle pepper. The kids split a massive platter of eggs(with hotdog slices, new to them, but totally welcomed) potatoes and bacon. My husband had 3 kind of meats, fried eggs, beans and rice(had some, so amazing) & arepa. Finished off our food coma with big fruit/milk Popsicles from the freezer. I’ll be back to try one of everything else that I saw behind the take-out counter that was not on the brunch menu. And try each one of their daily soups for lunch.

This is a small restaurant/bakery with limited seating. We had the bandeja paisa and the soup as a meal. With the soup, you get a big bowl of soup, and a plate with rice, steak, banana and salad(or beans). The food was very good. The waitress didn’t speak English but she made a great effort to communicate with us. We had a great time.

Small location with bakery on display, but don’t be fooled; this location also server full meals, and they are pretty good. I have sopa de tostones and I was pretty impressed. The only issue is that there are not that many sits so you might have to take the order to go.

Really like this place. Definitely the best Colombian food in the area. I really wished the restaurant was a little more organized and better decorated inside. Colombian food has great potential and I hope Colombian restaurants put more effort into ambiance, décor, and service; this is why I don’t give it five stars, otherwise I really like it.

Not just a bakery! I believe this place is Colombian. The staff is lovely, but know going in that their English is limited. «Aqua del griffo» is tap-water — otherwise you will get the bottled stuff. The empenadas(beef and sometimes chicken) are addictive, as is the salsa verde that sits on each table. I believe it is home-made, and there are jugs of it in the refrigerator case. The daily special soups are also excellent. «Arroz con Pollo» is very good — sort of like a paella, with peas and bits of carrot — and enough for 2 people to share.(The presentation may remind you of the mountain in Close Encounters). Fruit shakes«con leche» are recommended. Prices are moderate.

This place is really good the colombian empanadas(they look lie the crust is made from yellow cornmeal instead of flaky pastry) are amazing(she charged me $ 2.50 for two). they have cheap lunch specials like $ 6.75 for a plate of food. They sell ice cream bars which are delicious. The guava and cheese pastry’s are good as well. I have only tried a few things so far but I am in love with the empanadas. The plates of food I see others eating are fresh made and large portions like red snapper. carne asada, roasted chicken. I have ordered the Milanesa de pollo which is bread chicken cutlet cooked to order with bean rice plantain you can get something instead of rice and beans I forget what the beans were so delicious as well as the rice and plantain.

Looks can be decieving — from the hole in the wall appearance. Speaking for the baked goods alone — this place is a must to try. They have great shredded beef empanadas that has just the right amount of spice and flavoring that will be well received by any one. My second fave is the pan de queso — which is super moist, with a nice salty cheese flavor baked inside.

Wow I can’t believe I’m the first to right a review here?! The Colombian food here is the best in white plains and it’s always packed. Everything I’ve tried here is really good!
