Complete waste of time and money.
Purchased a pair of True Fidelity NC350BC headphone with Noise-​cancelling features, Box and Warranty card all advertise a limited Lifetime Warranty. They failed within a year. Tried to obtain an RMA and send them back the manufacturer. Here is their reply to me, pasted exactly as I received it in an email:
«We do not do repairs or have replacement parts here. Able Planet offers a Limited Lifetime warranty policy covers products under a 1 year manufacturing defect. Which means if something were to happen within the year, as long as the customer registers the item, they will receive 1 exchange under warranty»
For the record, I did register the product online — and now their website is defunct (No Updates since 2014, and the product registration link is broken). Guess their idea of «Lifetime» is the lifetime of a fruit fly. They obviously know they make really bad product, and are trying desperately to avoid accountability.
They also — as of today (Jan 2016) — have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau.

If I did not know any better or have not seen its products elsewhere, I would just assume this is a sham company. Have been trying to contact them for the past three days, post purchase of a hearing aid which is not functioning properly, and a recorded message claims the caller is the first in the callers queue and a representative will answer shortly. After a relative 10 – 15 minutes of playing music (and constantly claiming 1^st in the queue), it asks to leave a message. The directory numbers for customer service, technical support and the operator, all end up (after jerking you around for 10 minutes), asking you to leave a message. Up until now, have not heard from any one in this company. I even called the number on the credit card charge details in Colorado, a women voice comes on and asks you to leave a message. No ID as a company, just a name and asks to leave a message. Tried sending them e-​mail to the address in their website to get a RMA to return the darn thing (they claim 30 no question asked return, yet you need to mention why you are asking for an RMA). An automated response claimed I will receive a response within 48 hours. It is way more than 48 hours now but no response. No call back, no live person, no customer service, no return e-​mail. Amazingly ridiculous. Something is not right with this company.

I am a college professor and found that I could not hear the females in my classroom. I read a report in Popular Mechanics about Able Planet, a provider of noise cancelling head sets, stating they were working on a hearing aid. I also read a review a few months later in the Wall Street Journal that was positive. After getting a diagnosis that I needed one and looking at the prices for other hearing aids, I decided to try one of these for $ 499. It works as advertised, and my wife is grateful. We can now have conversations in the SUV or my car; I can watch TV with her as well. It has four levels and I just use the first one. To move up, just tap on it. Batteries are not expensive, last quite awhile, and you have to change a wax filter once a month. They have a winner!
