This is a standard D“Angelo’s. The staff in here was friendly enough. My sandwich was good and ready in the right amount of time. This location is right on route 18 next to a bowling alley and a liquor store.

This is a small D’Angelo’s but efficient! Placed right on Route 18 only about ½ mile from South Shore Hospital it’s a handy spot to duck into for a sandwich, salad or soup to go. On a recent rainy day, I was in and out with two sandwiches in just about 5 minutes. The ubiquitous classic #9 and a seasonal lobster salad pocket didn’t disappoint — both were on fresh pita pockets(no stale edges) with just enough crisp shredded lettuce on the lobster salad to give it some texture without overwhelming the chunks of lobster inside. Sure, it’s $ 15.99 for the pocket but have you checked the price of a lobster roll lately? And this was pretty darn good — lobster, a teeny bit of mayo, no seasoning, no onions(unless you add them) no fillers — nothing but lobster standing on its own and it held up. Half for that lunch and half for the next day’s lunch, made it amortize out well! Employee at the counter that lunchtime was courteous and professional — I’ll be back! And if you like my review, please click & let me know — thank you!
